Chapter 269 - Chapter 269

The red gloves clenched.

The void itself shivered as Saitama's harmless aura shifted into something terrifying—like a slumbering primordial beast awakening.

Dormammu's eyes flickered.

This power… he had never felt anything like it. Even he could not see through Saitama. And when the bald man readied his fist, for the first time in eons, fear stirred within him.

But as the ruler of the Dark Dimension, Dormammu let his flames surge higher, drowning the universe in black fire.

"Die!!"

Boom—

Flames swallowed Saitama whole, reducing asteroids to dust.

"I'll roast your soul until it weakens! You'll break, and then you'll serve me forever!" Dormammu laughed madly.

But inside the black inferno—

Buzz~~~

A terrifying pressure exploded. Saitama's eyes sharpened, his figure cutting like a blade. The flames parted around him as he walked forward step by step.

Even as a soul-form, he was as solid as flesh. His dead-fish eyes locked on Dormammu, who trembled.

He had broken free. With what? Not magic, not space manipulation—just raw strength.

Dormammu's arrogance cracked.

Saitama bent his arm, fist rising.

"Normal Punch."

A colossal fist shadow shook the void.

Dormammu snarled, summoning endless Mirror Dimensions to block. Layer upon layer, worlds overlapping like mirrored shells.

Crack—crack—crack!

Shattered! One after another, glass-like dimensions broke in a single second.

Saitama's punch plowed through dozens before finally fading. Only a few fragile walls remained before Dormammu's face.

"Incredible! You actually blocked it!"

Saitama's eyes lit up. His power had grown immensely since entering this world, surpassing even his early days as a hero. Yet Dormammu had endured his punch.

Excitement stirred in his chest.

"Impressive… Earth child!" Dormammu growled, enraged at the humiliation.

But Saitama's lips curled.

"Consecutive Normal Punches!"

Bang—bang—bang—

Fist after fist, red knuckles filled the void, smashing dimensions faster than Dormammu could rebuild them.

Boom!

The last barrier shattered. A fist slammed into Dormammu's massive body.

"Arrrghhh!!"

The Dark Lord was hurled like a ragdoll, cracks spiderwebbing across his form.

Saitama's blood boiled. Someone who could withstand even his barrage? Rare indeed.

"…Maybe I should try that punch?"

His mouth twisted into a grin.

But before he could unleash it—

Whoosh!

An orange portal flared open. The Ancient One stepped through, flames crackling around her. She struck Dormammu with a massive hand of light, sealing him in a collapsing sphere of mirrored glass.

At the same instant, she grabbed Saitama's arm and dragged him into the portal.

Dormammu's roar shook the cosmos as he broke free, body aflame with madness. The Dark Dimension ruler had been injured—by a bald human! The shame was unbearable.

Back in New York, both Saitama and the Ancient One returned to their bodies.

Her face was pale from the strain of fighting Dormammu and saving him.

"What a strange monster. Too bad I couldn't keep fighting him." Saitama sighed with regret. "Anyway… can I go now? Dinner's waiting."

The Ancient One: "…"

She stared at him, awe replacing fear.

This man had wounded Dormammu. A feat she had never achieved. And he had done it with nothing but brute force.

Her eyes gleamed. A wild thought formed—

If Saitama could master magic and combat arts…

He might become more than even she could imagine.
