Chapter 282 - Chapter 282

—Damn, why is there a duplicate page?!

Back then, before his evolution, Boros in Meteor Burst State could send Saitama flying to the moon with a single knee strike. Now, after that battle where he evolved through near-death, Boros was even stronger.

With one heavy punch he shattered the tide of darkness, the black flood torn apart by dazzling crimson light.

Boros's power now was absolutely beyond planet-destroying level!

Boom—!

His fist slammed squarely into Dormammu's face. The ruler of the Dark Dimension screamed in agony, sent flying backward.

But Boros was faster.

In a flash of lightning—

An aerial combo! He caught up with the falling Dormammu, fists and kicks raining down. His relentless barrage was so fast it was inhuman!

Dormammu's screams filled the air. His dark power couldn't keep up with Boros's speed. Even when he tried to defend, he was utterly overwhelmed.

Strange, the Ancient One, and the others were dumbfounded, faces pale with shock.

"A-am I dreaming?"

"Dormammu… Dormammu is being beaten down by Boros?!"

"Too fast! Dormammu's dark power can't keep up at all!"

Their astonishment echoed again and again.

The Dark Dimension ruler, Dormammu, was like a punching bag in the sky, endlessly pounded by Boros's ferocity.

The shockwaves from each blow could level all of New York City!

The terrifying aftershocks roared like tsunamis, forcing the three sorcerers to cling desperately to their defenses.

Around them, buildings crumbled like paper, turning into ruins and dust in moments.

Thankfully, this was only the Mirror Dimension. If it had been reality, countless lives would have been lost.

Boom—!

A devastating knee strike folded Dormammu's humanoid body like a shrimp, his spine shattering instantly, the sky above trembling as clouds dispersed.

Then Boros let out a feral grin—elbow strike!

Boom—!

Pitiful Dormammu nearly exploded into two pieces, black blood spraying from his abdomen, his spine completely crushed.

His body shot downward like a cannonball.

A deafening crash.

The earth shook violently.

Dormammu slammed into the ground, the shockwave flattening everything around, leaving behind a crater a full ten kilometers wide.

Hovering weakly in midair, Strange and the Ancient One were pale, staring in horror at Dormammu buried below.

Boros hovered above, gazing down coldly. Only after his barrage ended did the delayed flood of dark power finally rush in, enveloping Dormammu's fallen body.

"..."

The scene turned eerily quiet.

Everyone's eyes locked on Boros, filled with awe—and fear.

"Roar—!!"

A beast-like bellow erupted from the crater. A twisted, mangled Dormammu shot back into the air.

His humanoid form was nearly obliterated, but dark power frantically repaired him.

Far away among the stars—

Wherever darkness ruled, black tendrils stabbed into a slowly spinning planet.

The once-vibrant world halted its rotation. Decay and death spread instantly, in moments the thriving star became a dead husk, collapsing into cosmic dust.

Dormammu absorbed its power. His wounds visibly healed, his aura swiftly restored.

"You cannot kill me! I have devoured countless stars! My power is infinite!!"

Dormammu roared, eyes blazing with fury, glaring at Boros.

Humiliation! Absolute humiliation!

He, the undefeated ruler of the Dark Dimension, was being beaten like this by Boros!

Unforgivable!

"Dormammu cannot be killed… his power is too great…"

The Ancient One sighed as she watched.

As Sorcerer Supreme, she saw truths hidden from others—visions that pierced the future itself.

For countless ages, no Sorcerer Supreme had ever killed Dormammu. His power was simply too vast.

So long as he could devour a star, he had endless reserves. Death meant nothing; he could endlessly replenish himself. Practically immortal.

That was why Sorcerer Supremes could only guard the Sanctums, preventing Dormammu's entry. Victory? None had ever truly considered it. Not even the Ancient One.

Her eyes shifted, glancing toward the bald man by her side.

He remained utterly calm, as if the battle held no weight at all.

Did he not worry for Boros? Dormammu's endless resurrections… Boros might eventually—

Tssshhhhhh—!

Her thoughts broke as Dormammu suddenly struck.

In a blur of black light, Boros's right arm was severed!

Dormammu sneered viciously. His counterattack was merciless. Before everyone's eyes, he burned Boros's severed arm to ash.

The Ancient One and the others' faces darkened.

"Heh heh heh, do you see now? My power is the same as ever! Even after taking your full might, I recover all the same! As long as the stars exist, as long as darkness endures—Dormammu will remain the eternal ruler of dimensions!!"

He laughed triumphantly, as though his vengeance was complete.

But Boros's face showed no anger, no pain. His gaze was calm—terrifyingly calm.

He glanced once at his bleeding stump, even as darkness corroded it.

"Is that all?"

His voice was faint, tinged with disappointment—and the loneliness of a king.

"What?!"

The Ancient One and Strange were stunned.

What was going on? Didn't he feel pain? Had Dormammu scared him senseless?

"If your full strength only cost me one arm… that's truly disappointing. So-called ruler of the Dark Dimension—this is all you are? From now on, trash like you should stop calling yourself a king. Understand?"

Boros's lone, bloodshot eye looked down at Dormammu with absolute disdain.

"You still dare boast on the brink of death? My power is eternal! You are the one weakening! You've already lost an arm, how can you continue—"

Dormammu's mocking words froze in his throat.

Fsshht~~

Light flared at Boros's stump. In seconds, a brand-new arm burst forth—bones, muscles, skin, even the same ancient markings, all regenerated in moments.

Super Regeneration!

Back then, before his evolution, even after being reduced to a mist of blood by Saitama's punch, Boros had revived.

A single arm? Mere child's play.

So long as his energy was sufficient, he could regrow a billion arms without issue.

Now his power had reached an unimaginable "7.5," surpassing nearly all beings in the Marvel universe. His regeneration was monstrous.

Dormammu's severing of his arm was no more than trimming a fingernail—utterly meaningless.

"No… impossible… such regeneration!"

For the first time, fear flickered across Dormammu's face.

"Too bad. You cannot even match me, yet you dream of challenging an even greater existence. Trash… it's time you were destroyed."

Boros spoke as if declaring fact.

Terrifying energy surged through his entire body. The runic markings all over him ignited, terrifying power converging in his chest.

The crimson glow shifted—first gold, then white, and finally pure black.

"Boros: Houkou Hoshi Keibatsu Hou (Roaring Star Cannon)!!"
