Chapter 283 - Chapter 283

A terrifying column of energy gathered in Boros's palm. The entire Mirror Dimension groaned under its weight, as though it could no longer endure.

Cracks spread rapidly across the world.

"Not good! The energy is too strong! The Mirror Dimension can't withstand it! This attack will destroy the Earth!!"

The Ancient One's face changed drastically.

Boros's Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon hadn't even been released yet, but the leaked power alone was horrifying. Even this realm, which required sorcery to escape, groaned under its collapse.

"Mordo!"

Strange quickly raised a magical barrier. Mordo, suppressing his fear, also conjured his shield.

But Boros's attack was too vast. One blast could annihilate the planet.

"Saitama…"

The Ancient One's voice trembled with plea as she turned to him.

But the bald man still stared blankly at the sky, watching Boros charge his attack.

Meanwhile, Dormammu's face twisted in disbelief.

"Impossible… how can a humanoid lifeform release such power? Stronger… stronger than me?!"

Terror crashed in his heart. His darkness couldn't even invade Boros.

The space around Boros was entirely cleared within hundreds of meters.

"Houkou Hoshi Keibatsu Hou (Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon)!!"

Boros roared. The colossal beam shot forth. Sound vanished. The entire world fell silent.

Before their horrified eyes, space shattered like fragile glass.

Rumble—!

Dormammu summoned his vast darkness, even conjuring a gigantic beast of shadow. It roared in fury.

But Boros's Roaring Cannon tore through it with ease.

The radiant beam ripped the dark world apart.

It was as if the heavens and earth were split anew—chaos giving birth to creation.

Endless darkness was swept away. A single ray of sunlight broke through.

But the cannon's force was too great. After piercing Dormammu's beast, the beam blasted straight toward Earth.

The Mirror Dimension's walls shattered instantly.

The three sorcerers' barriers crumbled like paper.

"Saitama!!"

The Ancient One's cry was desperate. Even the aftershock of that strike was beyond her. The Earth itself would not survive.

But when she turned—Saitama was no longer standing there.

He now floated midair, facing the beam that had pierced Dormammu. His yellow suit, red gloves, and white cape fluttered softly.

"You're overdoing it, Boros."

His dead-fish eyes glanced upward. Saitama sighed helplessly. Letting Boros fight on Earth was clearly a mistake. Especially after his evolution, Boros's destructive power was beyond reason. Left unchecked, the planet would be torn apart.

"Sigh… Serious Punch."

He murmured softly.

It looked nothing like "serious."

Blue-white lightning sparked on his fist.

Dormammu's darkness, Boros's scarlet beam, and Saitama's pale lightning split the world into three colors.

"Shinken (Serious Punch)!"

One punch shot forth!

Boom—!

The Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon hurtling toward Earth collided head-on with the Serious Punch.

High above, Boros's single eye had already shifted its gaze from Dormammu to Saitama. His true goal was Saitama.

After evolving and training so long within the Cosmic Cube's realm, Boros believed he could finally demonstrate his strength before Saitama.

But the reality stunned him.

Even more pitiful than the last time he fired the Roaring Cannon—

He had improved… but so had Saitama.

And Saitama's progress was monstrous.

The Serious Punch blew the Roaring Cannon apart. The energy tore the Mirror Dimension to pieces.

Worse still—

Caught midair, Dormammu's eyes went wide.

"No—!!"

The recoil from Saitama's punch smashed through the Roaring Cannon, rushing skyward.

Rumble—!

Darkness itself shattered.

Where the heavens had once been cloaked in black and red, now the pale lightning devoured all, leaving only light.

The world returned to brilliance.

From outer space, a visible shockwave expanded outward from New York.

The moon cracked with deep fissures. The Earth quaked. Meteorites shattered. Satellites vaporized into dust.

One punch!

The sky cleared.

Serious Punch—!

The heavens opened wide.

Boros stared in disbelief as the punch grazed past his face, tearing into the clouds. Finally, he gave a bitter smile.

"It seems… the gap between us is still too wide, Saitama."

With Saitama present, he had no fear for Earth. But now Boros understood the true difference between them. The pride he had just begun to feel was crushed. All that remained was the resolve to train harder.

High above, Dormammu's humanoid form was obliterated. Even his massive dark head shattered under the combined might of the Roaring Cannon and Serious Punch.

Yet, frozen upon his face was an expression of horror, staring unblinking at the two.

"Dormammu!"

The Ancient One's face grew grave.

Crack—

A faint sound echoed, like glass splitting.

Her eyes flicked to Dormammu's form above.

Countless fractures spread across his enormous head.

Boros's cannon alone might not have been enough to end him—after all, Dormammu was a being of energy and soul, less vulnerable to physical power.

But Saitama's punch…

Breaking the limiter meant he transcended all categories. Physical damage, magical damage—none of it mattered. His blows were pure truth.

"I'm sorry… this is true damage."

"Nooooo—Saitama! Boros! I will remember you both—!!"

Dormammu howled in agony. Cracks consumed his entire body, until—

Boom!

He exploded.

All dark power, all soul energy, was dragged into the void like a black hole's pull. His struggles were useless.

In an instant, Dormammu was gone. Not even a trace of his darkness remained.

"Those who worship darkness… will in the end be devoured by it…"

The Ancient One murmured. Even Dormammu could not escape that fate.

Across the cosmos, countless stars collapsed and burst. Darkness receded. Light returned.

"Master!"

Strange suddenly cried out.

The Ancient One's own power was fading rapidly. Her body grew faint, her face reversing in time.

Long ago, she had drawn from dark power, believing it gave clarity.

But now, as darkness was erased, so too was she.

Her body turned transparent, her form reverting. From the middle-aged monk she had been, her features softened into those of a young girl—sixteen or seventeen, long dark hair flowing, youthful beauty radiant.

"Farewell, Strange, Mordo. Earth's future rests with you. And thank you, Saitama… knowing you has been my greatest honor, future king of the universe."

The young Ancient One smiled gently. Her eyes slowly closed.

But just before they did, she seemed to glimpse a figure step toward her, curiously gazing at her one last time…
