I walked down the stairs.
The dining was already set. Mother wasn't there, but Tae-Hyun was.
Sitting comfortably with his jacket hanging on the crown of his seat, his sleeves rolled up, and sipping tea as though this was his house from the start.
He glanced up when I approached, his eyes hinting at something I couldn't be bothered to catch as I walked towards a chair and pulled it out.
Then, he said, "Ah, my Bunny has finally joined the table."
My face twitched.
"I already told you to stop calling me that. And more so, we're in front of others." I said my tone felt as sharp as a razor.
"Others?" He tilted his head, his golden eyes gleaming with mischief. "There's no one here but us."
I glanced to the side but Miss Hwang wasn't there. It made me feel relieved so I did not push further.
It would be a hassle if I had to receive questioning gazes from others who heard him call me that.
But I guess he's also cautious to some extent.
I sat down.
