Should I just run away now that he hasn't found me?
He looked anxious.
But just as he raised his gaze from his watch, I guess his side eye caught me and he turned his head.
Seeing me, his face brightened instantly. The nerves I'd seen earlier seemed to dissolve, replaced by that same familiar, excited smile that always made him look a little too sincere for his own good.
I shouldn't just run away when I had the chance. I sighed.
"Ha-Joon!" he called, stepping forward and I also prompted my steps towards him.
"Sunbae," I greeted quietly.
"You came," he said, relief softening his voice and that gaze of his. Gosh. "I was worried you might not and just run away."
Well, it was an option.
I gave a small shrug.
"You made a reservation. It'd be rude not to show up."
He chuckled lightly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Right. Still… I'm glad you did."
