Chapter 10 - Chap: 10 Tell my tales!

The two children hastily Walking through the windy streets of Ashton.

Jolted bit by the incident taken place at the museum. Still a bit in shock, but continuing on as it never even occured.

Walking slowly and slowly, side by side. mark unable to hold himself from asking questions speaks regardingly to the incident.

Wonders what the book was about? What it had contained, and why it had been kept a secret and why for so long?

In curiosity, the bright child mark asks what the book was about!

At first glance, lucifur stayed silent and a bit irritated. Just thinking to himself– as the pressure built up.

But because his best friend kept asking questions, eventually lucifur gave in and couldn't keep the secret to himself.

Furthermore spilling out the lore.

"Okay.. okayy if you really wanna know then I'll tell you". Goes on to elaborate.

"Let's start with one the most shocking things in the book!" Lucifur head forwards when speaking.

"The labyrinth!"

"A labyrinth? Like a maze?" Mark guesses.

"Yes a maze, but not like the ones that we know!?" Leaving mark surprisingly confused.

"What do you mean by no ordinary maze!?", mark raising an excellent question for lucifur.

"Well I don't really understand it that well, it said it was like maze but the point is it changes!!", lucifur unable to understand it's concept.

"Something that can make new paths or be interchange itself!?", mark trying to make it sound sensible.

Nods Lucifur Confidently.

"That's impossible!", Said Mark dazed.

Left mark Thinking to himself.

"You sure it wasn't a fictional book or something!?" Mark putting sense into lucifur.

"Nope", lucifur said with absolute surity.

"Besides, think for a second even if that book was friction, why would they want it!?", lucifur reasoning.

"Hmm, man I hope whatever you're telling isn't true, cause if it is then we all are doomed!!", Frightenedly said Mark as he had arrived at the bus stop.

"I hope not, you know!", Exclaiming lucifur puzzled about the book.

"Don't worry, we'll figure it out", mark giving hope to lucifur.

Heavy breather.. Stopping onto the bus stop.

mark smiles to wave at his friend his goodbyes as he jumped on the bus.

"I guess, I am alone now", lucifur to himself.

"I better go home before gramps gets angry at me for being late!"

Lucifur turns around the corner, walking rather in a hurry.

Through up, in front of a bright television shop stood many people glued to the screens as if something had occurred.

The boy whatsoever did not care.

But, as he was passing something caught his interests.

"It was like, the TV spoke to him; 'i.. it.. it was like a labyrinth!!"

Lucifur shook–still firmly to listen to the television. There a man, with curly brown hair, distressed, talked about this sort of labyrinth or maze where he was trapped for sometime.

Of course the people around thought this was just no more than just fake news, because it was something very odd, very unusual.

Some people even started making jokes of their own, whispering, and laughing.

Some people genuinely got confused with whats going on and decided to ignore the news..

All of it clicked, it was the truth all along..

"The book is right!", lucifur to himself.

The man described the place as a maze of some sort, which can change as it wishes!

He furthermore described the horror he had gone through...

The veiw, the scenery, the horror was true...

Murmuring... that someone of justice had saved him, And it is his duty now to tell this experience to the public..

"He.. he saved me, smiling till the end", tears falling.

"It should've been me"

His screening ends—the TV switches off, The crowd disperses, on their own businesses, jobs, and work.

Everyone brushes this news off. Being their ignorant selves.

Carrying on with their repective work and their responsibilities.

Acting like nothing had occurred, treating this as a tomfoolery.

Up standing lucifur; "It's real!"

Figuring out that the book was not infact fiction, and important, relieves him of the confusion.

But due to this knowledge– acting rather concerned.

The door closes.. flesh like.

It's two sides smash together.

The room lush green covered in a weird substance, smelling something only described as unholy (the smell of blood). The ground slippery but rough enough to walk through.

The halls stretching endlessly ahead with no exit to be seen!

A formation of a new pathway began to appear.

The walls thick hard as concrete but manipulative somehow, by something.

At first glance, Robert got lost in his own thoughts. Questioning reality itself.

Sweating from the not so friendly environment.

To what this is, Sir.Robert said out loud. Only hearing his own voice echoing back to him in a minute.

Heart racing—not enough air to breath, steadily walking with gun pointed forwards, pointed up.

Watching every corner in sight, head moving left to right, eyes moving even faster.

Slowly.. carefully walking forwards–keeping his eye sharp, ready to burst into action at any moment.

Observing the area around him, And concluding a solution.

Not long after this, a sound of a man screaming was heard from a distance–urgently Sir.Robert runs as fast as he can to get to the man.

"Help.. Hel.. HELP".

With full speed hoping to save that someone in need as per his responsibility.

"IM COMING!!!"

Stopping in a dead zone, leading to pathways everywhere.

Confused where the noise even came from. Still, trying to figure out which pathway it could've been.

When suddenly the floor underneath breaks; Sending him falling.

"Impossible!", he shouts from with in.

Falling on his back, to see himself in a dungeon.

Catching his breath.. seeing the hole cover itself.

Taking a minute to process what just happened.

"Now that could've killed me, if it was deeper!"

"I.. I need to stay focused!", urged.

Tirelessly getting up–focused, zombies upfront.
