Yanyue Mei was quite puzzled in the morning as she wasn't able to see her disciple amongst the other sect members, as she wondered what he was doing as she watched the sect members before she went to have some tea for the morning which was served by the servants.
After sometime she was interrupted by the feeling of Guo Shen's qi which was erratic as she felt puzzled and then she heard him shouted out her title which caused her to look out the window at the young man.
Her eyes widened and her pupils became small when her gaze fell on the boy, or rather the young man he is holding in his arms, one whom she recognised as Genshu Hao, her personal disciple and who is covered in blood and looking quite weak in the arms of his friend.
She didn't waste a moment to jump out of the window as she immediately reached the young man as he stopped as he saw the princess land in front of him.
"What happened!?" Yanyue Mei shouted as she looked at the weak boy.
"I will tell you later, but please heal him first!" Guo Shen said as he held his friend.
Yanyue Mei didn't have to be told twice as she grabbed Genshu Hao and took him from his friend's arms and noticed the pills in his hands as she turned and flew to the building as she burst inside and quickly went to place him on a bet in the medical room.
She grabbed the pills in his hands as she knew what kind of pills they were as she grabbed three more and made him eat them as she saw the pills do its work. She removed his clothes, all except for his underwear as he was groggy and dazed as he whimpered.
Yanyue Mei gulped as she saw his state as she cleaned the blood off of his body and her eyes widened when she saw the scar on his chest, right where his heart is.
'The pills only had enough power to heal him with this scar left. The pills I made him eat would not be able to heal him now.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she looked at her disciple.
She felt her anger rise at the sight of her disciple like this as she calmed herself down before she placed her hands on him and then channeled her qi and started to heal his body.
She checked his body and then started to heal his chest, the scar vanishing slowly before his skin was smooth once more as she saw him becoming more relaxed as he fell asleep on the bed.
Yanyue Mei looked at Genshu Hao as she ran her hand through his hair as she frowned as she took the rest of the pills and placed them on the table beside his bed before she covered him with a blanket.
"Lady Yanyue." A servant asked as she looked at the lady.
"Ensure that he is cared for. And have two high disciples by his side at all times. That's my order." Yanyue Mei said to the woman as she nodded immediately.
Yanyue Mei walked past the servant as she walked towards Guo Shen with fury and determination in her eyes as she quickly walked out of the building and spotted Guo Shen standing in place as he seems to be doing breathing techniques with Zhu Li beside him as the princess of the sect made her way to the two of them.
The two of them noticed her presence as they looked at her and there were other disciples with them as well, three girls of Zhu Li's age were with her and Guo Shen's own retainer is with him as well, alongside his girlfriend as they looked at the princess of the Sect who has a look of fury.
"Who did this, Guo Shen?" Yanyue Mei asked him and she didn't need to explain to them what she was asking about.
"I am not sure that I should be saying that in front of all of them, Lady Yanyue." Guo Shen said to the princess.
While he did hate Zhun He, it was known that he didn't have much of an opinion on the guy, so he didn't know how the others would react. He was also a rising cultivator amongst the sect, and if he were to accuse him of being the one responsible for Genshu Hao's condition, he doesn't know how it will be taken by the sect.
Of course, that thought immediately went out of his head when he felt a pressure on him as the lady glared at him with her eyes glowing with qi as he felt his knees buckling as he tried to keep on standing.
"Who. Is. It?" Yanyue Mei asked again in a commanding and threatening tone.
Guo Shen gulped as he realised that he is in for a beating if he didn't say anything.
'Screwed if I talk, and screwed if I don't talk. Is this what he had meant by "stuck between a rock and a hard place"? I understand it now.' Guo Shen thought to himself as he gathered his nerves.
"It's..." Guo Shen tried to say, as he felt very nervous.
Yanyue Mei and the rest kept their eyes on him as he was now intimately aware of the fact that even more people were watching him, the other elders of the sect were also watching him. After all, considering Genshu Hao's relationship with the princess and his skills in maintaining the stability of the sect, he has importance to them.
"It was Zhun He! Genshu Hao said it was Zhun He who did this to him!" Guo Shen announced causing all of them to freeze.
And they all did freeze, after all, he was accusing Zhun He, the rising star of the sect of having attacked and injured Genshu Hao. He was the very same boy who had gained the favour and approval of the elders, the princess and many of the sect. He was said to be one who would help them reach greater heights with his talents, and due to his cultivation and favour that he gained from the sect, he didn't have any reason to harm Genshu Hao.
"What did you say?" Yanyue Mei asked him as she looked at him, her anger giving way to disbelief.
"Zhun He. Genshu Hao said it was Zhun He who did it to him!" Guo Shen said to her frantically, but this time with more determination.
"But why would he do something like that? He has no reason to hurt him?" Yanyue Mei asked the boy as she walked towards him.
"I don't know. Why don't you ask him? He is here, isn't he?" Guo Shen said to the princess.
Yanyue Mei went silent after that before she nodded and then she spread her senses across the palace to find out his location. While it wasn't like it was that hard for her to do, this wasn't something she did.
And as she tried to find him, she found out that she can't feel his presence. Not in any place of the palace, so she broadened her senses to feel more of the territory of the sect, and came up empty as she opened her eyes, wide with surprise as she couldn't find him.
"I can't find him." Yanyue Mei said in surprise which was heard by the sect members.
"What?" Zhu Li said in surprise alongside many others.
But Yanyue Mei wasn't worried about that as she looked at the guards and disciples in front of her.
"Find Zhun He! Scour the entirety of the sect's lands and find Zhun He and bring him here!" Yanyue Mei shouted the order.
She didn't know whether Guo Shen was saying the truth or not, but she did know that she needed to talk to Zhun He to verify what had been said. And most of all, Genshu Hao, her precious disciple had been attacked and injured, and she will find the one responsible for it.
The sect members immediately scattered when she said that to find out the accused, and many were also afraid of getting the wrath of the princess. Guo Shen was more than eager to go for the search, while Zhu Li and her friends were trying to find the young lad as well, albeit for different reasons.
'He can't have right? Zhun He isn't that type of person. He is a honourable, righteous, and great sect member. Guo Shen must be lying to get back at him. If I find him I will be able to disprove it.' Zhu Li thought to herself as she went with her friends.
Yanyue Mei watched the other go before she looked back to the building, where she had left Genshu Hao to rest after she had laid him on the bed.
"I will find Zhun He and ask him Hao. Get some rest." Yanyue Mei said before she also started to search as she flew through the air.
