Chapter 80 - Chapter 79: Goddess Of Death Hela

The key was that Asgard had no conflict of interest with him and possessed enough value to earn his goodwill. Leon wasn't afraid of having too many enemies, but he also didn't want to see enemies everywhere, especially before he was powerful enough to be fearless. One of Leon's core principles was caution.

Odin was using a trick to offer goodwill, and Leon would not refuse it. Moreover, this major event of the origin of fear was a suitable opportunity to train his soldiers and harvest faith.

"The Great Serpent..." Leon's eyes flickered. How high would the value of a God-King be? He was looking forward to it.

The turbulent countries were filled with war, and countless lives were infected by fear. Death, killing, and bloodshed made many nations seem to be shrouded in a veil of blood. The people living in these countries were desperate and powerless. They prayed for gods to save them, but unfortunately, the god they expected, Asgard, was also facing terrible and powerful enemies.

Hellheim, one of the Nine Realms, was known as the kingdom of the dead. Mist shrouded the kingdom. Beneath the mist was a wildly twisted jungle, dark and gray. In the Shadow Castle deep within the mist, a woman wearing a dark green robe and with long black hair sat elegantly on a throne of skulls, her legs crossed. She supported her chin with one hand and lightly tapped the armrest with her index finger, creating a rhythmic sound.

Suddenly, boom! As if the world was turning upside down and collapsing, she slowly opened her eyes. A man appeared in front of her. He had a tall, muscular body and a beard, with a tough face and a pair of tyrannical eyes, creating the aura of a tyrant. He wore the fur of an unknown creature wrapped around his shoulders.

"The Great Serpent, Kul... the elder brother of that old guy. What should I call you?"

"I never cared about such things. It's a pity that the hero who once fought alongside my foolish brother has now been exiled to this hellhole." Kul turned his head and looked at the dark castle's environment, his expression full of disgust. He didn't like it. As a tyrant, he preferred his former magnificent and luxurious palace.

"Heh..." The woman sneered and said nothing. This arrogant attitude did not anger Kul. A king with a strong purpose would only be angry with Odin. In other situations, he was very calm, even indifferent.

"Hela, you were once Odin's sharpest spear. You conquered world after world for him and killed countless people, but he didn't give you the throne you wanted. Instead, he exiled you to this sunless realm," Kul said with a cold smile. "I can see the hatred in your heart. Tell me, do you want revenge?"

"My anger is like a sharp sword, piercing my heart every second. Torture, pain—this will become my motivation for revenge. Without it, I would have no fun." Hela stood up, her voice as loud as thunder. A terrifying aura swept across Hellheim. All the dead souls in this misty world were afraid, crawling and kneeling on the ground and trembling with fear. The entire Hellheim was shaking, but the land was solid. Hela's divine power tried to break through this realm, but it was blocked and suppressed by a more terrifying and vast force.

"See? He blocks me again and again, as if he wants to destroy my will." Hela retracted her breath, walked down the steps with graceful strides, and stood next to Kul. Kul was so tall and strong he looked like a brown bear, while Hela looked so petite in front of him.

Kul lowered his head slightly and looked down at Hela, grinning. "But you can feel that the power is weakening, right?" Hela's eyes narrowed. "What did you do?" she asked, her voice full of suspicion. Indeed, she had just felt her seal loosen, something she hadn't expected to happen from her outburst of power. She was still wondering, and now it seemed that this brother of Odin's, her uncle, had done something.

"A gift for my dear brother after not seeing him for so many years. Not only him, but Thor, Loki, and Frigga... Asgard should have ten copies." Kul smiled cruelly.

"I like this gift, but what do you want from me?" Hela reached out and took hold of his long beard, looking directly into his wild and oppressive eyes.

"Shall we make a deal?"

"You help me leave this damn place?" Hela raised her eyebrows.

"If there's anyone in the Nine Realms who can break Odin's seal, I think I'm the only one."

"What do I have to pay?"

"Go to Midgard." Kul's face grew cold. "For some reason, a powerful god was born in Midgard. I want you to kill that god, cut off his head, and bring it to me."

"Great Serpent, are you afraid of a god from Midgard?" Hela said sarcastically.

Kul's eyes changed, and he stared at Hela like a snake. "I allow you to communicate with me on an equal footing, but that doesn't mean you can anger me, Hela."

"Heh, you can try." Hela was fearless. She might not be as strong as Kul, but Kul couldn't kill her. At most, he could seal her, and how could that be worse than her current situation? What's more, Hela's unruly and arrogant nature would not allow her to show weakness to anyone, not even her father, Odin.

The two's eyes met, and the atmosphere became extremely tense. After a while, Kul was the first to change his expression and laughed. "As expected of the Odin family's blood. Hela, you and I are born kings, not hypocrites like Odin. I'm using you, but you also need me to break the seal. And I think you'd rather kill Odin with your own hands than have me kill him." Kul's direct words made Hela narrow her eyes. Just as Kul had said, she had been accumulating anger for countless years, and that hatred could only be extinguished with Odin's blood. She suppressed the fire in her heart and said coldly, "I want to kill that old guy with my own hands."

"Of course, he is yours." Kul agreed.

"Heh, I'll bring you the so-called god's head," Hela said coldly.

But both of them knew that this was just a deal, and they knew there was likely a trap, but they didn't care. They were both confident in their own strength. After killing Odin, they would begin a war for the throne. The two of them shared a knowing smile, with cold murderous intent hidden beneath.

Then, a thunderous roar erupted. The violent aura, accompanied by Hela's surging divine power, filled all of Hellheim, and a deep green light shot straight into the sky, disappearing from Hellheim. The war had begun.

On Earth, there was unusual activity in the three magical Sanctums around the world. The magicians guarding the Sanctums noticed the abnormal situation, detecting a massive amount of energy approaching the Earth. In Kamar-Taj, the Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One, had a face full of questions.

"Venerable?" An Asian magician beside her looked at the Ancient One cautiously. He always felt that her mood seemed unstable. Could something have happened?

The Ancient One waved her hand, feeling tired. What kind of development was this? The Great Serpent had broken his seal, and now Odin's daughter, Hela, had also left Hellheim with the serpent's help and was heading straight for Earth. This broken timeline left her speechless, even though she understood the butterfly effect of the timeline and was used to it. She hadn't expected it to become so chaotic. Just as she was considering whether to stop Hela, a familiar voice entered her ears, which made her change her mind. She then showed a helpless smile. This kid could really surprise her.

Outside of Earth, a dark green beam of light broke through space and headed straight for the planet. However, before it could approach, a huge golden vortex appeared inexplicably in front of it, completely engulfing it.

Dream Garden

With a rumble, a figure fell from the sky, landing on the ground. The terrifying force cracked the ground over a large area, sending up dust and flowers. The scattered petals made the scene violent but also gave it a touch of romantic beauty.

When the dust dissipated, Hela glanced around in a daze. She extended her hand, and the petals fell into her palm. She crushed them with all her strength. "Where the hell did this take me? This isn't Midgard?"

Hela looked around carefully and realized that this seemed to be a world that had been forcibly created. The entire world was enormous, a feat that no ordinary person could accomplish. As Hela was thinking, figures fell from the sky like a stream. She suddenly looked up.

Boom!

A violent and domineering aura rushed up. In the sky, more than a dozen figures wearing gorgeous bronze, silver, and gold armor stood, looking down at her with cold determination. Hela tilted her head, a glimmer of interest in her eyes, but in her heart, she was already filled with rage. Their condescending attitude made Hela sentence these arrogant bastards to death. She decided to crush their bones with her own hands.

"A very good aura, very strong, but are the people behind you here to kill you?" Hela asked jokingly, thinking of the wars in the past. Odin had sent the Valkyrie Legion to hunt her down, but she had slaughtered 1,200 of them.

"You can't say whether you are going to die." A calm voice came from behind Hela, making her body stiffen slightly. A cold murderous intent flashed across her eyes. She stretched out her right hand, and a sharp sword appeared in her hand, sweeping it backward.

Bang!

A hand grabbed Hela's sword. The collision of two powerful forces shook the entire Dream Garden for a moment. Hela was shocked. A man in exquisite and luxurious robes had grabbed her sword with a single hand. The power was so strong that no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't move forward. His black hair, tall figure, handsome features, and elegant temperament made him full of charm. Hela was not moved. It was like two kings meeting; there was no mutual admiration, only fear and murderous intent.

"Midgard shouldn't have given birth to someone like you." Hela smelled a strong sense of danger but kept her face expressionless. She suddenly realized why someone like the Great Serpent would rather help her leave Hellheim. It turned out there was a powerful being on Midgard, so powerful that even Kul felt he was dangerous. And she was being used to deal with the man in front of her. No matter who won or lost, it was a win-win for the Great Serpent, and it would be best if both sides were hurt.

"It just so happens that I was born. There are always many surprises in this universe," Leon said, grabbing the sword and exerting a little force. The powerful force shattered the sword. Hela took a step back, her body on high alert.

Leon looked at Hela and shook his head, a look of amusement on his face. "Are you humiliating me?" Hela's eyes filled with anger. "No, the worst thing you did was to come here," Leon said with a laugh.

Hela's eyes became fierce, but Leon didn't take it seriously. He just snapped his fingers.

Om!

His figure became illusory, and then he looked at Hela and said, "As a punishment, you will have to stay here for a thousand years."

"A thousand years? Who do you think you are? Odin?" Hela was furious, and a surging aura erupted from her body, but she didn't attack the Leon in front of her because she could see that he was no longer in this world. It was just a projection. Hela wasn't a fool. She knew what the other party wanted her to do. She looked up at the sky where more than a dozen figures stood.

"I will chop off their heads, and their bodies will become my throne!"

"That's a pity. I don't think you can do that. Please." Leon gracefully extended his hand, signaling Hela to begin. As soon as she finished speaking, she waved her hand vigorously. In an instant, countless swords shot toward the sky like a rainstorm. Each sword contained a terrible power that could penetrate any material. However, standing in the sky were Salina and other Saints who had been recognized by Holy Cloths. They shouted angrily and punched.

Boom!

Their supersonic punches, like meteors, shattered the dense storm of swords into an atomic state. The power was not exhausted, and it continued to rush toward Hela.
