Chapter 83 - Chapter 82: Burning The Microcosm To Surpass The Limit

The vast, dim expanse of space was shrouded in darkness. A golden figure moved like a beam of light, weaving through a dense field of rocks that resembled a meteor shower. With every step, a golden halo burst forth, a beautiful and powerful display of extreme speed.

The figure rushed toward Hela. Suddenly, the surrounding rocks surged forward, and dark green vines twisted into a massive net, entangling the golden figure.

The figure came to a sudden halt and, as a golden halo exploded around her, she spread her arms and began to spin rapidly.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A golden storm, crackling with lightning, erupted. The terrifying vortex tore the vine net to shreds. As the vines were destroyed, they immediately began to regrow. Realizing that this tactic was useless, she stopped spinning, her cloak and long hair whipping wildly in the powerful wind.

Salina's gemstone-red eyes blazed with fire. Her internal microcosm was burning, releasing an energy countless times more powerful than before. She extended her index finger, and like a meteor moving at the speed of sound, she shot forward, obliterating everything in her path, including the vines.

This was a direct, kingly style of combat, and its destructive power was in no way inferior to other fighting methods.

After she had cleared a path by destroying everything in a range of tens of millions of kilometers, she saw the figures of her companions floating ahead. Every one of them was panting, with blood trickling from the corners of their mouths. This included Lisa, who wore the golden Aries armor, as they all stared at the Goddess of Death, Hela, who stood atop a massive rock.

Hela was strong—impossibly strong. Under the combined assault of Salina and the others, she displayed the terrifying power of a celestial-level being. Her speed, strength, energy projection, and magical abilities all far surpassed theirs. Her combat awareness was also extraordinary. She had adapted to their Saint Seiya-style joint attacks, and with her mastery of Asgardian magic, she had pushed them to the brink of death several times.

In these desperate moments, Salina and the others had repeatedly surpassed their own limits just to barely survive. However, their microcosms were on the verge of exhaustion. It was particularly difficult for Salina and Lisa to control their gold-class armor with only the sixth sense. They had repeatedly used combat techniques belonging to their own constellations, pushing their bodies to the absolute maximum.

Their fists could crush atoms, yet Hela's body was unbelievably hard. Not only was her flesh on a celestial level, but she also possessed divine power and infinite vitality. Her body was ridiculously durable, and she was an expert at manipulating Asgardian magic, unleashing a continuous stream of practical and devastating spells that had disrupted their siege on multiple occasions.

But no matter how much they were depleted, the microcosms of Salina, Lisa, and the other Saints continued to burn, fueled by an unwavering belief and iron will. This amazed even Hela. She had gone from being angry and amused to being completely serious.

Hela, a cruel tyrant much like the Serpent, was also a warrior who respected such opponents. Other benevolent kings might have shown sympathy, but Hela was different. The respect she offered such warriors was to kill them with her own hands, to sever their heads and use them as trophies.

The fierce battle had ignited Hela's own fighting spirit. After being cast out and sealed in Hel by Odin, she had never experienced a battle of this caliber again. Her initial anger had been replaced by a sense of exhilaration. She even offered a mocking smile to these warriors who were about to lose their fighting power.

These are true warriors.

She looked intently at the warriors who stared back at her without a trace of fear. She raised the Night-sky Sword in her hand, and the very air trembled. The divine power of death flowed like a river, spreading out infinitely, turning the world into a realm of the dead.

This was a final, inescapable attack. The dozen or so warriors she had deemed worthy would be annihilated in a show of her respect.

High in the sky, Leon, who was sitting on the flower throne and holding the Time Gem, tensed up, a hint of azure light flashing in his eyes. Hela wanted to kill his warriors, and he would not allow it. However, just as he was about to intervene, he saw the burning conviction in the eyes of Salina, Lisa, and the others. This belief was fearless and powerful.

He fell silent. He had forgotten that Salina and the others had become true Saints. Their faith and will would not allow them to retreat in the face of a powerful enemy. If he were to save them in this critical moment, he would be interrupting their growth.

Every Saint was destined to create miracles in desperate situations. Desperation and the razor's edge of life and death were experiences they had to face. They could not grow up under his protection, or they would be nothing more than empty shells.

Leon held back.

"Go on. Let me see if you can create a miracle. No, I know you can create a miracle." Leon murmured to himself.

Just as Leon observed, in the face of this desperate situation, Salina, Lisa, and all the other Saints were utterly fearless. Their profound belief allowed them to burn their microcosms to the absolute limit.

Boom!

A terrifying surge of energy erupted from their bodies. They had long forgotten about death and the desperate odds. The figure before them was all that mattered. They had only one belief: to defeat the enemy.

With a roar of faith that seemed to pierce through the world, they burned their microcosms and unleashed their most powerful fighting technique against Hela, a force far beyond their previous limits.

Hela, in turn, swung her Night-sky Sword. For a moment, time seemed to freeze.

The terrifying collision of energy created a devastating wave, and the entire world began to twist, invert, and shatter. Amidst the chaotic energy, neither Hela nor Salina and the others retreated a single step. The energy continued to collide in a stalemate for an unknown duration.

Finally, the power of annihilation plunged the entire world into darkness. There was no light, no wind, no concept of time, and no sound. It was pure chaos, a complete void.

Perhaps it was a minute, or perhaps it was ten thousand years, but a faint light appeared. It grew brighter and more expansive, like a blazing sun, banishing the darkness before fading out once more.

"I am proud of you." A proud voice echoed from the darkness.

Then, there was only complete silence.
