Tony Stark let out a long sigh of relief when he saw Ghost-Spider appear. Even in his armor, Rhodey probably wouldn't have survived a fall from that height. It was a good thing Ghost-Spider showed up right at that moment. This was completely beyond his expectations.
"Mr. Stark, when I saw a donut in the sky, I knew something was wrong. I just didn't expect to find an ugly octopus here!" Gwen Stacy landed gracefully, chattering away. The moment she saw the giant object in the sky, she knew something was up. She rushed over as fast as she could, and it was a good thing she made it just in time.
"You're here right on time!" Tony was about to thank her when he saw a car flying toward them. "Look out behind you!"
Gwen quickly looked back and saw a car flying straight at her. All she could do was put her hands up to try and stop it, but she was sent flying by the impact. This was obviously a car thrown by Ebony Maw, who had just freed himself from her webs.
Seeing Ghost-Spider about to get up, a furious Ebony Maw waved his right hand. The debris from a nearby building came crashing down on her.
Bang!
'Damn it, this thing is heavy!' Tony thought to himself. He managed to get in front of Ghost-Spider in time. The heavy building debris slammed into him, leaving two deep footprints on the ground before he could stop it.
He couldn't help but curse the monster in his mind. He was able to effortlessly manipulate such a massive piece of debris. He took a deep breath and threw the debris aside.
Just then, a massive figure came charging toward him. With every step, he left a deep imprint on the ground!
"Is this big guy insane?!" As Tony saw him about to collide, he could only clench his jaw and put his hands up to block. In the next second, Cull Obsidian slammed into him.
CRASH!
Tony felt like he'd been hit by a high-speed train. He was sent flying backward, smashing into a store and then through the wall, landing in the next street over. But Cull Obsidian didn't stop. He held his arms up to block, broke through the walls, and rushed into the next street, like a terrifying ancient beast pouncing on Tony.
"Crap, is this guy on steroids?!" Tony felt a sharp pain throughout his body. He had just managed to get up when he saw the massive figure lunging at him. He quickly created a shield with his right hand to block.
Cull Obsidian's massive ax repeatedly hacked at the shield, causing sparks to fly. Tony was completely unable to fight back. Every time he raised his shield, Cull Obsidian would slam it back down. He could even see the crazed, excited look on Cull Obsidian's face.
"You damned giant! I'm not some girl with a nice butt!" Tony gritted his teeth, took his left hand off the ground, and blasted a repulsor ray from his palm at Cull Obsidian's face. The sudden attack caused Cull Obsidian to instinctively let go of his ax and cover his face.
The next moment, Cull Obsidian felt cold metal wrap around his waist. A powerful force pushed him toward a nearby building. Tony's thrusters were working at maximum capacity. The gold and black armor acted like a shield, pushing Cull Obsidian through four walls in a diagonal line. The immense force even caused the entire building to tremble.
'I'm gonna have to buy another building!' Tony cursed in his mind. He didn't stop for a second. With a change in the thrusters' direction, he pushed Cull Obsidian upward into the sky. They broke through several corners of the building in a graceful arc before shooting into the clouds.
At that moment, Cull Obsidian finally came to his senses and grabbed Tony with his right hand. Tony was pulled off course and slammed into a building. In the next second, Cull Obsidian's roar came from inside. He had grabbed Tony and thrown him out of the building, then leapt after him, holding on to Tony as they plummeted toward the ground.
At the last second, Tony's armor's thrusters shot out a blue light, and several small missiles exploded between them. Just as they were about to hit the ground, he narrowly managed to escape Cull Obsidian's grasp and crashed into a building nearby.
BOOM!
Even after falling from dozens of stories high, Cull Obsidian simply stood up. He then charged toward Tony inside the building.
"Damn it…" Stephen looked at the fight in the distance, his expression growing more grim. He knew his opponents would be difficult to deal with, but he hadn't expected them to be this strong. He had keenly observed that Cull Obsidian hadn't taken any significant damage. It was safe to say that Tony was being beaten down.
"Stone Keeper, hand over the Time Stone," Ebony Maw said calmly, looking at Stephen.
"You were sent by Thanos?!" Stephen immediately realized that they were after the Infinity Stones.
Ebony Maw didn't respond. He simply raised his hands, and countless steel rods, like vipers, shot toward Stephen.
Stephen used his Cloak of Levitation to dodge the attacks. At the same time, he cast the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak and shot them toward Ebony Maw. The Bands shot from his hands, wrapping around Ebony Maw's right hand in an instant.
"You're a troublesome one." Ebony Maw was pulled off balance. He ran his left hand over the Bands, and a black energy tore the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak apart!
"What kind of magic is that?! It tore apart the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak!" Stephen's expression changed dramatically. This was the first time his spell had failed.
In the next moment, he saw the ground beneath Ebony Maw churn. The ground carried him swiftly toward Stephen. Just as Stephen was about to move away, two steel rods shot from the ground and bound his legs.
In the next second, Ebony Maw used his mind to grab the Eye of Agamotto, preventing Stephen from casting a spell. The Eye of Agamotto burst with a ray of light, interrupting his incantation!
"You placed a spell on it?" Ebony Maw frowned. He hadn't expected the Eye of Agamotto to be enchanted.
"That was just a small, insignificant spell," Stephen scoffed. At the same time, he conjured the Swords of Vishanti and cut the steel rods binding his feet. "The Eye of Agamotto is protected by the Vishanti. No one but the Sorcerer Supreme can touch it!"
"Since you won't hand it over, then you will die!" Ebony Maw's face became menacing. He pulled his hands apart, and countless steel rods, like vines, grew from the buildings on both sides. They reached for Stephen, clearly intending to grab him.
"Hah!" While moving through the air, Stephen pushed his hands forward, and a dazzling bolt of lightning erupted from his palms. It was like a silver dragon, racing toward Ebony Maw. In a flash, it was in front of Ebony Maw. He pulled with his right hand, and a large slab of concrete moved to block the silver dragon. At the same time, he moved backward. The silver dragon broke through the concrete slab and slammed into the spot where he had just been.
In that instant, flying shards of concrete cut Ebony Maw's cheek.
"You damned pest! I will make sure you suffer a fate worse than death!" Ebony Maw's anger reached its peak. As a subordinate of Thanos, he couldn't fail to retrieve the Space Stone!
Ebony Maw spread his hands wide and then pulled them together. The walls of the buildings on both sides cracked and flew toward Stephen. The terrifying force, mixed with pressure, slammed toward Stephen in the air.
Faced with the oncoming attack, Stephen extended his left hand and drew a circle in the air with his right. He opened an Inter-Dimensional Portal, sending one of the walls through it. The other end of the portal opened right above Ebony Maw's head!
Ebony Maw's eyes widened. He pulled with his hands and a mass of dirt suddenly appeared above him, blocking the wall. Because of the sheer force of the wall, some dust still landed on Ebony Maw.
Seeing this, Ebony Maw was absolutely enraged. Everything around them began to tremble. He couldn't believe he was being made to look like a fool by a simple cockroach.
All the surrounding buildings began to crack, and countless steel rods, like spikes, surged out. If you looked up, the buildings looked like a forest of steel rods. The rods grew and spread, and in an instant, they completely surrounded Stephen.
"You won't get the Eye of Agamotto!" Stephen gritted his teeth and conjured the Swords of Vishanti, but he couldn't cut through so many steel rods. In a blink of an eye, Stephen was completely bound by the steel rods.
Ghost-Spider had recovered by this point. She leaped up, and several webs shot toward Ebony Maw. But Ebony Maw was in a rage. The webs were stopped in mid-air. In the next second, a pillar of dirt shot out and knocked Gwen into a nearby building.
"Hand over the Time Stone!" Ebony Maw floated up, looking at the bound Stephen with a calm expression.
"No way. I'll never… give it to you." As Stephen refused, the steel rods tightened around him. Ebony Maw didn't bother asking again and used the rods to choke Stephen unconscious. At the same time, he used a concrete slab to carry Stephen away.
"Stephen!" Wong's face changed dramatically. He quickly made a sign with his hands. The Winds of Watoomb gathered on the ground and surged toward Ebony Maw.
But Ebony Maw simply pulled his hands apart, and the terrifying winds were torn apart. Ebony Maw had no intention of continuing to fight Wong.
Just as he was about to leave, Wong pushed his hands out, and the surrounding environment began to crack. But before he could finish his spell, a large rock, controlled by Ebony Maw, flew at him. At the last second, Wong abandoned his attack and cast a shield to protect himself.
This gave Rhodey, who was lying on the ground, a chance. He fired a rocket, which slammed into the concrete slab. The massive explosion caused Ebony Maw's spell to falter. In that instant, the Cloak of Levitation took the opportunity to grab Stephen and fly away.
This sudden turn of events stunned Ebony Maw. He hadn't expected the red cloak to have a mind of its own. But seeing it happen, he could only quickly follow it.
Meanwhile, Tony and Cull Obsidian were in a stalemate. The surrounding streets looked like they had been hit by a missile attack. There was debris everywhere. Cull Obsidian grabbed Tony by the neck and dragged him along a wall.
As sparks flew, a deep trench was carved into the wall. Tony didn't even have the strength to speak. He felt like this guy was a Hulk; not only was he incredibly strong, but he could also use a weapon.
He kept blasting his repulsor at Cull Obsidian's chest until he finally sent him flying. He had no time to worry about Stephen. His armor was severely damaged, and he was lucky to have dodged Cull Obsidian's ax. Otherwise, he'd be dead by now!
Tony watched as the knocked-back Cull Obsidian quickly got up, and he felt a knot of dread in his stomach.

Seeing the warning, Tony didn't hesitate. Several parts of his armor quickly separated from his body. They emitted a blue light.

In the next second, a massive beam of light shot toward Cull Obsidian. Faced with the oncoming laser, Cull Obsidian's expression hardened. He looked determined and charged toward the laser.
"This is why I hate monsters like this!" Tony said, his face pale. He never expected this guy to be so tough. That laser beam could blast right through a building!
At that moment, Cull Obsidian was in front of him. He kicked Tony to the ground and then raised his massive ax, bringing it down on Tony's head.
BAM!
In the nick of time, a white figure appeared in front of Tony and caught the falling ax with her hands!
Under her mask, her fair face turned red in an instant. She had been thrown into a nearby street and saw Tony being beaten down. She had rushed over immediately, but the power of this big guy was far beyond her expectations.
"Hey!"
"Look out behind you!" Wong yelled.
Gwen saw a portal appear behind her in her peripheral vision. She did a backflip to narrowly dodge it. Wong opened an Inter-Dimensional Portal under Cull Obsidian and sent him to the North Pole.
Cull Obsidian, feeling the sudden weightlessness, reacted instantly. He gathered his strength and leapt, intending to jump back through the portal. But as soon as his right arm went through, the portal closed. Cull Obsidian's arm was instantly severed!
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as the heavy arm fell to the ground.
"Where's the Sorcerer?" Tony said, relaxing for a moment, and noticed Stephen was gone.
"Over there," Gwen said, pointing in the distance, her voice strained. They saw that Ebony Maw had taken Stephen back to the donut-shaped landing craft in the sky.
"Damn it," Tony said, his stomach sinking.
"They're after the Infinity Stones. I heard Thanos is collecting them," Wong said, his expression grave. There was very little intel they could gather, but this was definitely not good!
"Cassius can handle this," Gwen said with a serious tone. After all, if Cassius had been here, this wouldn't have been so troublesome.
"We can't wait for Cassius. He's probably still on Asgard drinking mead," Tony said, taking off and flying toward the landing craft in the sky. He told Wong to go find Steve Rogers.
"Wait for me!" Seeing this, Gwen quickly followed.
