Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 The audience is already in place

After taking two steps, Gobber turned back to Stoick and said, "What are you waiting for!? I guarantee that will be the most amazing thing you've ever seen in your life."

"If you go late, you'll miss it! I don't want to miss that wonderful process!"

With that, Gobber quickly limped towards the Dragon Jail, muttering, "Hiccup must teach me yesterday's ironworking! This prosthetic limb is too old!"

Stoick was also anxious, but only for the sake of his chief's dignity, unwilling to show too much eagerness.

"Roar~~"

The Terrible Terror let out a Dragon roar, then descended above the Dragon Jail.

The Dragon Jail no longer used iron nets to block it as before; ever since Hiccup tamed the Terrible Terror, Gobber had directly modified the Dragon Jail, leaving a small door specifically on the side.

When the Dragon landed, it could open this small door directly with its claws.

After landing, the few companions still hadn't recovered from the feeling of being airborne, and now they had to face all the Dragons.

"Hiccup! Are you really going to release all the Dragons!?"

"How about we release them one by one, so we can be prepared!"

"What are you afraid of!?" Astrid and Ruffnut said almost in unison.

Then the two women glared at each other, Astrid snorted and said, "As Warriors of Berk Island, youth is not your excuse!"

"Now that you have joined the Dragon Knight Squad, how can you fear Dragons!?"

Ruffnut even said, "With Hiccup Warrior here, you will absolutely not be harmed by Dragons!"

Listening to Ruffnut praise Hiccup, Astrid snorted, walked directly to the large door of the Dragon Jail, and opened the wooden bolt on the door!

Then, holding the wooden bolt, she looked at Ruffnut provocatively, her eyes seeming to say, "If you have the guts, you open the door too!"

Ruffnut naturally refused to be outdone, directly pulling her brother towards the large door of the Hideous Zippleback's Dragon Jail.

"Oh! You foolish sister, are you trying to kill me!? Let go of me, let go of me!"

"How can you, a coward, be my brother! You truly bring me shame!"

The Twins argued as they walked to the entrance of the Hideous Zippleback's prison.

There was no other way; for the sake of his sister, he could only brace himself and help her open the Dragon Jail's door.

"Roar~~"

"Growl~~"

"Puff~~~~"

After the Dragon Jail's door was opened, sunlight instantly dispelled the darkness within the Dragon Jail, causing these Dragons to let out comfortable roars.

Then, they cautiously surveyed their surroundings, advancing step by small step.

The Hideous Zippleback was even more cautious; before coming out, it directly exhaled a green gas cloud! However, this cloud was not very dense; if it encountered fire, at most it would just ignite.

Hiccup also found it strange why the people here didn't get poisoned when walking through the gas cloud; it was truly magical.

Moreover, the Vikings themselves said that the Two-Headed Dragon would exhale poisonous mist, so they obviously knew this green mist was poisonous, but still dared to wander around in it recklessly.

Seeing that the density of the mist was not too great, Hiccup directly had the Terrible Terror ignite the dissipating mist.

"Whoosh~~!"

The few people were instantly enveloped in flames, but the flames appeared and disappeared quickly, almost in the blink of an eye.

Originally, Hiccup thought they would have their eyebrows and hair burned off, but now it seemed that, similar to the principle of pinching a flame with one's fingers, because the speed was too fast, they didn't feel any temperature at all.

In the original work, there was a scene where Hiccup was captured by his mother, and then he released the Hideous Zippleback's green gas and ignited it.

This left a special scent on his body, making these Dragons think that the one in front of them was of the same kind.

Sure enough, the few companions instinctively shielded their faces with their hands, and when they opened their eyes, they just happened to see the Dragons leaning their heads in.

They curiously examined their appearance, as if wondering why a fellow kind would look like this.

At this point, the Twins finally panicked, and Ruffnut said with some fear, "Brother! I'm scared! Quickly go and lead these Dragons away!"

Fishlegs, the chubby boy, was too scared to move from where he stood, because the Dragons were too close; he couldn't run even if he wanted to.

Astrid was initially flustered but quickly calmed down, walking directly towards the blue Deadly Nadder and extending her hand to it.

Hiccup immediately spoke in Dragon Language, "Obey her! Otherwise, you will become its dinner!"

The blue Deadly Nadder glanced at the Terrible Terror beside Hiccup and immediately pressed its forehead against Astrid's palm.

After all, it was the law of the jungle; the Deadly Nadder just wanted to survive.

Feeling the warmth from her palm, Astrid excitedly opened her eyes. She knew all of this was Hiccup's doing, because she had just heard Hiccup speak that strange language again.

Then she hopped and skipped to Hiccup's side and said, "This is great! I also have my own Dragon companion! From now on, I'm also a Dragon Knight on Berk Island!"

The others were stunned when they heard Astrid's words, and when they saw Astrid hug Hiccup, Ruffnut's nostrils flared with anger.

Hiccup even pushed her away with a hint of disdain, saying, "Trust me! How about taking a bath another day!?"

Berk Island was truly too cold, with almost three months of ice and snow and nine months of winter. Although there were some green plants, it didn't mean Berk Island wasn't cold.

Moreover, it was surrounded by the sea, and freshwater resources were scarce; it was already good enough to have enough to drink, let alone bathe.

So, Astrid answered without even thinking, "I took a bath last month!"

With that, Astrid attempted to sit on the Deadly Nadder's back. At first, she was a bit nervous and couldn't sit steadily, especially when the Deadly Nadder moved.

The others were still in the stage of observing each other, whether it was the Dragons or the humans, they dared not reach out, afraid that if they did, they would be bitten off by a Dragon like Gobber.

From then on, they could only use a pirate hook to replace their hand.

At this moment, Stoick had already led a group of villagers to the spectator stands next to the Dragon Jail. Although they were walking, their gaze remained fixed on Hiccup and the others.

When they saw Astrid riding the Deadly Nadder and moving around, they couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, and at the same time, they envied Astrid even more as she sat more and more steadily on the Deadly Nadder's back.

Hiccup then looked at the remaining three people and said, "Don't hesitate! Quickly reach out!"
