Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 Taming the Dragon Herd

Gobber felt Stoick's ridicule, immediately snorted, and turned his big beard away, ignoring Stoick.

The villagers were still volunteering to tame the Timberjack Dragons, but Hiccup refused them all, then said, "These Timberjack Dragons are not suitable for taming for now!"

Although the villagers were a bit disappointed, they believed that as long as Hiccup was there, they would also be able to have Dragon mounts.

Immediately, Stoick stepped forward to help Hiccup out of the predicament, saying, "Warriors! There isn't much wood left on Berk Island now! Warships need repairs! Shields also need new ones!"

"So, compared to taming Dragons, I think collecting wood is more important!"

The villagers on Berk Island finally realized this, and then whispered their grievances to each other.

"My house was damaged by a Dragon and I haven't had time to fix it!"

"Mine too, it was all damaged by a Dragon last time."

"My shield has also been broken for a long time, and I need to make a new one. Now that I have these Dragons, I can make new ones!"

"Roar~~!"

As the Dragon roars sounded, the big trees in Crow Ridge fell in swathes. From a distance, the hillside of Crow Ridge looked as if it had gotten alopecia areata; all the lower lying areas had become bald!

Especially the oldest Timberjack Dragon, it was the most efficient. Hiccup even felt that his own requirements limited the Old Dragon Snout's performance, otherwise, the entire Crow Ridge would definitely become barren.

Soon, the Old Dragon Snout led all the Timberjack Dragons back to Hiccup. The villagers watched the direction of Crow Ridge with wide eyes.

But they were not in a hurry; they were waiting for Stoick's command.

Stoick looked at Hiccup with great pride, then said, "Warriors, be sure to bring all the wood back!"

After receiving the order, these villagers rushed frantically towards Crow Ridge.

Moreover, everyone's eyes were full of fervor. What made Hiccup speechless was that these Vikings didn't use any tools or vehicles when moving wood; they just picked it up and walked away.

The most important thing is that both men and women are equally strong!

Anyway, the wood was already there. As for how they would move it back, he didn't care.

Hiccup looked at the Timberjack Dragons and said, "Thank you all!"

The Old Timberjack Dragon coiled its body, its head held high, looking at Hiccup and said, "Human, you are too kind! But I have a request, I hope you can agree!"

Hiccup's mouth curved slightly upwards as he said, "Don't worry! I will definitely agree! No matter how many members are in your tribe, or even unhatched Dragon eggs, they can all be brought to Berk Island!"

Upon hearing this, the Old Dragon Snout's pupils instantly widened a bit, clearly a little surprised. This Human not only spoke Dragon Language but also could guess what it was thinking.

Hiccup really didn't want to mock the Old Dragon Snout. Although it knew a lot, its mind was just as simple; its thoughts were almost written on its face, completely undisguised.

The other Timberjack Dragons coiled around Hiccup roared excitedly after hearing Hiccup's words.

The Old Dragon Snout lowered its high head, looked at Hiccup, and said, "Thank you for your kindness! I am willing to leave here, I only hope you can take in my tribe, just feed them once every three days! Please~!"

Hiccup directly reached out and placed his hand on the Old Dragon Snout's Dragon horn, saying, "If I can support a tribe, why can't I keep you?!"

"If you don't stay, what will happen when these young Timberjack Dragons start misbehaving?"

Those young and speechless Timberjack Dragons, seeing the Old Dragon Snout's gaze, quickly huddled together and hid their heads, but still couldn't help but secretly look at the Old Dragon Snout.

Finally, the Old Dragon Snout seemed to have made a decision, lowered its Dragon head, and approached Hiccup, saying, "I, Snotlout, am willing to become your mount and fight alongside you!"

However, upon hearing this, before Hiccup could agree, Night Fury directly jumped over and burrowed into Hiccup's arms, seemingly showing off its status to the Old Dragon Snout.

Hiccup patted Night Fury's head and said, "Good boy!"

Night Fury immediately stood to the side. Hiccup extended his hand and placed it on the Old Dragon Snout's forehead, saying, "I accept!"

Just as Night Fury was getting jealous and preparing to leave, Hiccup directly wrapped an arm around Night Fury's neck and said, "However, I only want you to protect Berk Island. As for fighting side-by-side, I still prefer to be with Toothless!"

At this, Night Fury's dark green pupils suddenly lit up, and all the previous expressions of disdain vanished, as it licked Hiccup's cheek.

"Uh~~ this, this..." Hiccup was extremely speechless, but he couldn't refuse Night Fury's kindness.

The Old Dragon Snout looked at Night Fury with some envy, and then said, "I can see that you are indeed the best partners! I am willing to protect this small island just as I protect my tribe!"

The companions around had been watching for a long time, and they didn't understand anything at all, because Hiccup had been communicating in Dragon Language the whole time.

So they could only enviously watch Hiccup learn Dragon calls and then get along with these Dragons. Finally, looking at the situation, it was clear that he had tamed the entire Dragon group.

Astrid walked forward, still a bit uncertain. The Old Dragon Snout immediately showed a meaningful look and voluntarily left space for Hiccup and Astrid.

Before Hiccup understood what was happening, Astrid suddenly put her hand on Hiccup's shoulder and said, "Have you already tamed the entire Dragon group?!"

The reason she put her hand on Hiccup's shoulder was entirely out of fear that Hiccup would run away.

Hiccup felt the force on his shoulder just as he was about to leave, so he could only helplessly say, "No choice! Strength conquers everything! All the Timberjack Dragons are willing to stay on Berk Island!"

"That's great! Hiccup, you are really something!" Astrid excitedly patted Hiccup.

When Twin sister saw them chatting and laughing, she almost fumed with anger, striding towards Hiccup. Just then, Night Fury swung its tail.

It directly knocked Hiccup down, with Astrid's hand still firmly gripping Hiccup's shoulder.

Hiccup was knocked down, and Astrid was dragged along with him, falling directly. Hiccup fell face up and back down, while Astrid, holding onto Hiccup, fell face down and back up.

At this, the two were directly tightly embracing each other. They didn't kiss, they really didn't kiss!

Because the force was too great, Hiccup deliberately dodged. This was not an anime or a TV show; if they had kissed precisely, they could easily have knocked out a tooth...
