Luna's POV
"Please don't touch me," Luna said, backing away from the strange golden-haired boy who kept reaching for her.
The boy looked like someone had ripped his heart out. His eyes were filled with such pain that Luna almost felt sorry for him, even though she had no idea who he was.
"Luna, it's me," he said desperately. "It's Sunny. We're bonded partners. We love each other."
"I don't know anyone named Sunny," Luna replied, though saying the name made her feel oddly sad. "And I'm not bonded to anyone."
The boy - Sunny - fell to his knees in the snow, tears streaming down his face. "The Phoenix trial broke your memory. But our bond is still there, deep inside you. I can help you remember."
"What bond?" Luna asked, confused. "I don't feel any magical connection to you."
