Chapter 3 - Curious eyes 2.

"Oh…?" Dina looked up to find a tall, handsome man standing before her.

"Y…yes…?"

"Are you okay? You seemed hurt."

"W…hat…?" Dina was stunned that someone spoke to her. People would usually step away from her whenever she walked by. But this man approached her instead.

"N–no… I'm alright… Thank you…" She was nervous.

"How is he not scared of me!?" She thought to herself.

"Are you sure?" He insisted, then sat down next to her.

"Yes… Don't bother yours… elf…" Dina flinched as he slowly slid towards her.

"I can get you some help if you're not okay. Just let me know."

The young woman slid away from him.

"No, I'm… fine… Really…I–"

"--Why don't you come inside? I have some stuff that can help you relax. You seem tired." With his creepy smile, he stretched his hand towards her.

Dina was consumed by fear. She froze in place, not knowing what to do.

As she watched the palm slowly growing near her, her heartbeat sped up.

"Don't worry, I'll take great care of it."

His hand flew through her smoke. She could smell the scent of cigarettes coming from his fingers.

With his thirsty eyes staring at her, he whispered. "I wonder what you feel like!? Uh…!"

He froze as a big hand clutched his wrist and squeezed tightly.

"What the…?!" He raised his eyes to find Rain glancing at him with dead, raging eyes.

"Hey! What are you– Ugh!"

"Hands…" He squeezed even tighter.

"Let go you— Uugh!!"

"Off…" He clutched even harder.

"Ugh… you're going to break my hand you–Uhugh!!"

"MY WIFE!!" As the loud, sudden crack, sharp and final, tore through the silence, the man screamed in agony. "UUGH!!"

He quickly stood up while holding his hand in pain.

"YOU SICK BASTARD!!!"

Rain scooped Dina up slowly. "U-uh!" She flinched.

He glanced angrily at her, then walked away. She looked down, knowing well that at home, a rainstorm awaits.
