Chapter 19 - Meeting Reggie, the New Boy at School

"I said it's none of your business."

The voice said in a low, grieving tone, and I knew I couldn't do anything about it. I might even make it worse. I replied, "Okay, I'll leave you alone."

I gave the door a last glance before turning around, and my phone rang in my pocket.

[Hey, let's go hang out after school.]

It was from my friend, Nino, whom I haven't heard from for a while, and I replied, "Sure."

I looked up toward the mirror, and my eyelids narrowed sharply at the boy in the cloudy mirror behind me.

The boy was wearing a black hoodie with black pants, but pale skin, and I could tell he was shorter than me. He had hunched shoulders, and his head was bowed down with curly brown hair. 

But what really made me narrow my eyes.

The boy sitting on the toilet had a sharp razor blade in his hand and cut deeply into his wrist. Blood was soaking his wrist and the cuff of his jacket.
