When I hang up the phone after speaking to Elijah. My chest was filled with simmering anger with no room for an outlet.
Angel, on the other hand, kept smoking his vape, which most teens do these days. He kept smoking like he had all the time in the world, like he couldn't care for anything else. His hoodie was tucked over his head, and he was hiding in the corner in the back of the store so nobody could see him.
But Angel is a true fool. There are security cameras everywhere, so it doesn't matter whether he is hiding.
Before I knew it, my body was in a calm, raging state. I walked over to Angel, observing him from head to toe.
When my feet echoed across the floor, Angel lifted his head indifferently and his green eyes narrowed in my direction. "What are you doing here?"
What the hell?That should be my question.
