After a while, I was in Percy's hospital room sitting beside him when keifer came back with the food.
Keifer: Here. Eat. U need energy and after that, rest for a while. U look too tired.
He said as he handed me the food.
Jay: I'm not the only one who needs food and sleep. U all do. Where's ur food?
Keifer: I'll just share with u, like old times😁

Keifer: Here's what's going to happen. The girls, the team, aries, jay, me, edrix and rory r going. And with us denzel, ci-n, david, felix and calix r also coming. Drew, eman, eren, josh, blaster, mayo and kit will stay here and look after percy. If anything happens, tell us immediately!
Cheers and groans filled the room. Then we said our goodbyes to them and percy and left his room.
Before leaving, I first went to get Percy's file and then we walked towards the parking lot.

Before I could even turn towards their direction, I was tackled into a tight hug so fast that I almost fell on the ground.

They both said and pulled away from the hug.

Jay: Oh these r the companions I told u about. This is Philip and this is elena.

Then everyone introduced themselves too.

They both said, shooting side eyes at each other.
Everyone was staring at them. But for some reason keifer was glaring at philip with clenched jaw and tight fists. He didn't say anything, just shifted a little more close to me, still shooting daggers at philip.
Ren( shaking his head ): U two still haven't changed, have u.
Elena: Hey I'm more mature and responsible now. It's him who hasn't changed.

After that we somehow managed to have dinner with almost zero chaos. Almost! Ci-n and Zia were fighting over who's the better bestie and who has more rights..? Philip and elena were still busy bickering with each other and I had a hard time stopping them. Keiren and keigan were clinging to me bcz they said they missed me too much. Keifer didn't say anything but was still glaring at philip, keiren and keigan like they were his mortal enemies. The tension and awkwardness between kuya angelo and ion was thick! Ion tried to say something but words seemed to fail her and kuya angelo tried to avoid even looking at her. Choi tried to act as the mediator but ended up getting his ear pulled by kuya again. Section e and the girls were busy with there own world. Aries was busy judging everyone. Everyone fought over who got to hold baby grazel jay. The elders were busy with there own talks. Meanwhile, my team was busy whispering things, probably thinking of a plan or something🤷♀️. So yeah, dinner was total chaos!😮💨
After dinner, I was too exhausted from the whole day and just wanted to rest but that didn't stop kuya angelo from making me sit at the dining table while everyone stared at me like I was being investigated or something.
Tita gema, tita reycee, papa, baby grazel, ion keiren and keigan went to sleep leaving only me, my team, my brothers, the girls and section e behind to ' talk '.
My team was either sitting or standing beside me and the rest were on our opposite side of the table.
Everyone was silent for a while. So I decided to break it.
Jay( sighing ): Ok, Ik u all have a lot if questions for me so ask whatever u want to ask and I'll try to answer as many as I can.
They glanced at each other first. Then exploded with questions.
Keifer: What happened after u left the bar?
Felix: Why did that doctor call u Ms.Martinez?

Freya: What r these other problems u r not telling us about?

Me, philip and elena left for phillipines for mom's case and the....other problems but then I got to know about Percy's condition from thyme so I turned around and came back here.
Philip: And on our way here, we also contacted tito draco about the situation and luckily he handled everything over there successfully. Atleast for now anyways😑
Elena: And we also realised that we needed to be more prepared if we want to solve everything smoothly so we gathered some files we needed and tito draco had already thought to bring kuya angelo and the rest here to....help us with our problem.
Keifer: what's ur relation with jay?
Ci-n: And who's this tito draco?
Felix: And will someone finally tell me about these Martinez and Why did that doctor call jay, Ms.Martinez!😫

Philip: Oh yeah and the files. Yeah the files were, Percy's medical history reports as u all know already and um there was Jay's medical history reports and also someone else's. It's not really that important😅
Kuya angelo: Why do u need Jay's medical history?
Jay: to help with the case. They help me prove that my step dads used to abuse me. Some scars might not be on my body anymore and some might not be visible but my reports will hopefully be enough to present in court.
Thyme: And if the files r enough then jay won't have to say much and she and her mom will finally get justice.
Mj: This case is not only about Jay's dead step dad. We're involving all of Jay's step dads to end this once and for all.
Kuya angelo: What? Do u know how dangerous that is? What if it doesn't work? We don't even have enough proof agaisnt one let alone all of them. If u lose then Jay's mom could be in more trouble. They'll pin it all on her like they've always tried to do. We can't risk it.

He kept coming closer. I stepped back instinctively until my leg hit the side of the bed.

He pretended to think for a second, then leaned closer to me.

I froze. My brain short circuited. My face was probably on fire right now.🔥 All the confidence I had like a minute ago, shattered like glass.
I opened my mouth to say something, anything! But no words came out. So I did the only thing I could think of at that moment. I pushed him hard, he fell on the floor, then turned around, jumped on the bed and hid myself under the blanket trying to turn invisible and save myself from this kwanan!
Keifer: ouch jay. Why did u push me? It hurts!😣🤧
Jay( from under the blanket ): Jay's not here right now. She's sleeping. Good night!😴
I blabbered out! I heard him chuckle softly. Then I felt an arm around my waist. I stiffened instantly. He removed the blanket from my face. I looked away instantly but he held my chin softly and made me look at him.
Keifer: Relax wifey. We won't make caretaker and watcher today. U don't need to worry about that. Just sleep for now. Good night😴 I love u jay, until scientists find the end of the universe❤ Don't have too many wet dreams about me😏
He said and before I could even react, he pecked my lips and then kissed my forehead. Then properly layed down beside me, wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to his chest so that my head rested on his chest, listening to the steady beating of his heart.
I relaxed instantly and hugged him back. He kissed the top of my head one last time and then we both fell asleep😴

Guys Ik u want me to post as soon as possible and trust me I really really want that too but my finals r in February and my mom is like study, study, study! I mean the day after my POMT finished she literally told me to start studying again for my finals! Like give me a break first!🤦♀️ But what can I do, I have to study and get great marks or else my family is going to end me☠ and do u know, most of the time in exams, my mind was busy coming up with new ideas and plots not just for this book but for some more of jayfer fanfic like many different plots and ideas for many different jayfer books and one if them is on my mind a little too much🤦♀️ I mean they all r but this one just won't go away! And I want to write more books now only but then I think about how my finals r coming up and my 12th will start soon and I don't want to leave u guys hanging or anything so I think it's best if I finish this one first and then write the rest, one book at a time, I think? What do you guys think about that?
