After the dinner, Mei Yeqin sat in the car, holding Mei Sihua, looking at Pei Dai with a hint of sadness in her eyes.
"That Ah Sui kid is so stubborn. I told him to come, but he just wouldn't."
Mei Yeqin had deliberately arranged today's dinner, but she hadn't expected Jiang Sui to reject her the moment she called.
Pei Dai started the car and looked up from the hotel entrance to see the young man's low-key Mercedes-Benz with an arrogant license plate number. That seemed to be Su Qing's birthday.
"How did you know he didn't come?"
Mei Yeqin looked at Pei Dai. "You saw Ah Sui? Where is he?"
Pei Dai reached out and pointed to a nearby car. If it wasn't Jiang Sui's, whose car was it?
"He's here now. Why don't he get in?"
