Chapter 5 - Chapter 5:Oh, it turned out to be from the Ancient One...

"It turned out that Goldfinger is used in this way!"

Understanding that defies the heavens, fused with infinite creation.

After Alaric grasped the very essence of the universe, he could manipulate the energy of reality and directly shape a new universe.

Although this universe is still not large, it can continue to grow and develop.

As long as Alaric's power grows, one day this universe will become a true universe and expand infinitely.

Looking at his work, Alaric left the room with satisfaction.

As soon as he stepped out, he felt a cold gaze pierce him to the bone.

He turned his head and saw the Ancient One staring at him expressionlessly.

"Do you want to explain to me what just happened?"

"What?" Alaric felt his heart race, because the Ancient One looked terrifying!

"Ugh! This!" The Ancient One took a deep breath and pointed at the shimmering galaxy in his hand.

"Oh, that's a pocket universe I just created," said Alaric, clearly and calmly.

"I'm not asking you what it is, but how you did it!"

The Ancient One's anger was almost unstoppable.

In her mind grew the thought that this man might have been sent by some dimensional being from another dimension as a covert agent sent to Kamar-Taj.

A self-destructive spy? Such things were far too dangerous.

"How I did it? Didn't I just observe the multiverse? Then I understood and created it?" Alaric explained nonchalantly.

"Yes… Is that so?" The Ancient One's face lost its earlier anger, but her calm was even more frightening.

What does that mean, he created a universe as soon as he saw the multiverse? Is it that simple?

She, who had spent centuries traveling through countless dimensions, who had seen innumerable worlds and landscapes of reality, had never been able to build a universe. And he, an ordinary man, just accomplished it like that?!

Is this a joke? Or does he think she's that stupid?

"No, it's the truth! There is a saying: to look through appearances to the very essence. If you understand the essence, together with the manipulation of energy, you can create matter. You should know that!" Alaric quickly added, trying to explain.

Magic is, at its core, the ability to absorb and shape the energy of the universe. That energy is cosmic and omnipresent.

Alaric understood the nature of that energy, and with the help of his ability [Infinite Creation], he could shape the rules and complete what he intended.

"..."

The Ancient One was silent, watching him quietly.

She did not understand. She knew magic, she knew the universe, but why could he, an ordinary person, without any training in the mystical arts, do what she had never managed?

Is it possible that standing before her was a genius like she had never seen? Had she just found the most talented person she had ever taught?

If Alaric knew what was going through her mind, he would only shake his head and say it wasn't about talent, but about the system guiding him. Even things that defy reason and logic become possible within the system's explanation. But that was something he could never tell the Ancient One.

He feared she might destroy him before understanding what that system truly represented.

"Sit down. Now I will teach you how to use magic," she finally said.

The Ancient One sat at the table, took the teapot in which the tea had long since gone cold, and poured herself a cup. Her face was calm, composed.

Seeing this, Alaric placed his hand on his small universe and pulled it back into his body.

"First I will teach you how to sense the existence of Vishanti's magic. Only with their permission can you use the power of Kamar-Taj," she said seriously.

Whether Alaric was a genius or not would depend on what was about to happen.

"The Vishanti are the trinity of gods of white magic: the Almighty Oshtur, the All-Seeing Agamotto, and the Hoary Hoggoth. They dwell in external dimensional realms and possess power that surpasses all comprehension."

Their role is to guard Earth, protecting it from mysterious threats that could penetrate reality and destroy life upon it.

"First I will teach you meditation and mantras, and then you will try to establish contact with the Vishanti," she continued.

"Repeat after me… With the ancient body of Hoggoth… With the ancient name of Oshtur…"

"Agamotto… Hear my generation… Vishanti… Give me the flame!"

Alaric memorized the mantras, sat cross-legged on the floor, emptied his mind, entered meditation, and in his heart invoked the names of the Vishanti.

The Ancient One watched him quietly, took a sip of tea, and waited.

However, before she swallowed, Alaric shocked her so much that she spilled the tea all over the room.

"Poof!"

"How is that possible?!"

Her eyes widened when she saw the golden flame enveloping Alaric's body.

At that moment, he looked like the very son of the God of Magic!

He had just begun meditation, and already in less than a minute the Vishanti had granted him their blessing?!

How highly did they value him?!

Couldn't they have waited a little?

Honestly, the Ancient One was somewhat frustrated.

Vishanti: With such understanding and talent, we could not resist!

As soon as Alaric uttered their names, they subconsciously turned their attention to him and immediately noticed his exceptional qualifications. They bestowed their blessing on him at once, fearing he might slip out of their influence.

He is the best successor of white magic! Not even the future Stephen Strange shone so brightly in their eyes!

"What is wrong?"

Alaric was confused, he didn't understand why the Ancient One was looking at him that way. He only felt his face moistened by drops of water, as if rain had fallen in the room.

"But… aren't we inside? How can rain fall here?" he asked in confusion.

Oh. It turned out that it was the Ancient One…
