Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Dormammu – You are fake! Your whole family is fake!

The darkness thickened, and from it suddenly appeared a pair of enormous purple eyes that coldly stared at Alaric.

"Let me see who has the courage to come to me... Haa?"

Dormammu's tone suddenly halted. He felt something strange, as if this scene had already happened.

"What's wrong? Stones stuck in your throat?" Alaric laughed and stood up.

"A sorcerer from Kamar-Taj? You truly have the audacity to step here!"

"Why wouldn't I be able to come? I find it quite pleasant here, though a little dark."

"Did you come to sign your own death?"

Dormammu looked with disdain at the little mage before him.

"No, I came to kill you!" Alaric replied in an icy voice. "I will kill you and become the sole ruler of this world!"

As he spoke, he activated the Supreme Magical Weapon and condensed a holy sword wrapped in golden flames.

"Seek death!"

Without moving, Dormammu raised his hand, and from the meteorite ground on which Alaric stood, sharp stone pillars erupted, impaling him on the spot. Alaric perished in a terrible way.

"Annoying little bugs." Dormammu sneered and turned around.

"Dormammu!"

Alaric's voice echoed from the other side, as he held a light sword nearly a hundred meters long and swung it toward the dimensional lord.

"Hm?" Dormammu turned, exhaled dark energy, and reduced Alaric to ashes.

"What kind of magic is this?" he muttered, puzzled. "Wasn't he already dead? His first corpse is still there, the blood still flows..."

"Dormammu!!"

"Sneak attack!!"

Another Alaric appeared beneath his massive head, pointing the light sword directly at his waist.

"Again?"

Boom!

Dormammu immediately brought down his fist like a hammer, smashing the attack.

"Sneak attack? Can you shout your own name while sneaking up?"

His eyes scanned the surroundings. He was certain the little mage was still not dead.

Indeed, Alaric was secretly releasing illusion magic, creating one version of himself after another to attack Dormammu.

"Dormammu!"

Suddenly, a female voice was heard.

"Ancient One?" Dormammu turned his head and saw the Supreme Sorcerer.

"You still dare to come here?"

"Why wouldn't I dare?"

"You took my power and now you dare appear before me! The time has come for you to pay the price, Ancient One!"

A roar of dark energy surged toward her, but something was wrong.

"This... is fake."

Dormammu immediately recognized the problem. The Ancient One could not be this weak. More importantly, from this illusion he did not feel the traces of dark power she had once borrowed from him.

"Spiritual magic... Is this a mirage?"

At that moment, Dormammu began to doubt reality itself.

"Dormammu!"

Who now!?

Dormammu turned angrily and saw himself.

"Me?"

As if looking into a mirror, Dormammu stared at his double.

Fake Dormammu: "No, I am the real one! You are the fake!"

Dormammu: "I am the real one! You are the fake!"

Fake Dormammu: "You are the fake! Your whole family is fake!!"

Dormammu: "…"

He fell silent, realizing how meaningless it was to argue this way about who was real and who was not.

If both were fake, then it was best to destroy everything.

Roar!

Dormammu raised his head and began gathering an enormous amount of energy, then unleashed a deadly wave that destroyed everything around him.

Even the Dark World itself trembled, and the numerous beings that dwelled there perished instantly.

"Dormammu!"

Among the inhabitants of the Dark Dimension, a young girl with white hair and a captivating figure lifted her gaze toward the horizon where the destructive battle was unfolding.

"Who is he fighting? What kind of power has he awakened to cause such upheaval?"

That same girl had long been waging her own battle against him, but now curiosity drove her to move toward the battle.

...

The massive wave of energy struck Alaric. He didn't even have time to react.

"Dormammu! Just a moment—"

Before he could finish his sentence, his body vanished.

"Hm?"

"Finally dead?"

Dormammu remained hovering in place, watching carefully. He was convinced that the little sorcerer had truly disappeared without a trace.

He was about to withdraw when suddenly, time began to rewind!

Everything reset.

"Ugh!"

"Curse it, he is too powerful. None of my strikes can touch him. Looks like it's time to play the last card."

Alaric sighed.

The feeling was as if endlessly, again and again, he tried to defeat the main enemy in a battle that never ends, and that enemy was Dormammu.

No matter what magic he used, everything proved futile.

Still, each reset brought him more knowledge, experience, and skill.

Once more he sat cross-legged on the surface of a meteor, closed his eyes, and awaited his arrival.

In the darkness, Dormammu opened his eyes.

"Again?"

"Wait... why did I say that again?"

"Something's wrong!"

His gaze sharpened.

"Something is wrong with this mortal!!"

Dormammu, who has eternal life, transcends time and death, passed through only two time periods backward to realize the problem.
