Chapter 123 - Chapter 123. Wait! What did you say?!

Coulson, who received the order, quickly formed a team and, posing as the FBI and saying the object might emit radiation, persuaded everyone to move away.

Soon, a temporary base was established with Mjolnir at the center, and research on Mjolnir began.

...

Here, while Thor was eating, he heard that a satellite had fallen from the sky; at first, he didn't care, until the man said the satellite was heavy and no one could lift it, then his heart jolted.

His intuition told him it was Mjolnir that had come to Earth with him.

Thor stood up, asked for directions, and went outside.

Seeing this, Sig immediately followed him.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to retrieve my hammer!" Thor said happily.

"Your hammer? You mean that satellite?"

Sig was stunned and speechless.

Are you that excited?

"That's right! Thank you for your help, beautiful lady!"

Thor walked over, took Sig's hand, gave her a polite kiss, then turned and left.

Thor wanted to figure out a way to reach the place about fifty miles west of the city, where Thor's hammer was.

Even better, if he could find horses or something similar.

That also made Thor miss the days when he flew through the sky.

"So handsome!" Sig was briefly dazed by Thor's elegant politeness.

When she came to her senses, she saw that Thor had already walked away.

Sig thought, for such a handsome guy, maybe it wouldn't hurt to follow him!

"Hey! I'll take you!!"

...

Evening came, night was approaching.

Coulson's team still couldn't do anything with Mjolnir.

They only knew that the object was astonishing and had strong energy fluctuations.

But no one could lift it.

Since Jane, Professor Erik, and Darcy weren't here, Coulson couldn't obtain intelligence.

But the opportunity soon came.

Because someone broke in.

After Thor asked Sig to wait in place, he rushed toward the base alone.

With his strong body, Thor knocked down several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in a row; Hawkeye could be seen drawing his bow, ready to fire.

But Coulson decided to wait and see what would happen, so he let Thor break through the perimeter.

He also wanted to find out what this person, who had appeared out of nowhere, actually intended.

Thor approached Mjolnir with a joyful expression, convinced he would lift it.

In the end, Thor confirmed that he had indeed lost the qualification to lift Mjolnir and to be the heir of Asgard's Divine King.

...

In a lit room, Thor sat on a chair with his head down, broken.

The last time he felt like this was when Alaric caught Mjolnir.

At that moment, Thor had also felt what it was like, to lose Mjolnir.

But the very next day he had summoned it again; this time, however, he had truly lost the qualification.

He had also lost the power of the God of Thunder.

Completely and utterly.

So, no matter how much Coulson interrogated him, Thor remained silent.

At that moment, someone knocked on the door and entered.

"Sir, a woman showed up outside, tried to break in, probably came looking for him."

The agent pointed his chin at Thor.

"We'll get to the bottom of this." Coulson said that to Thor and turned to leave.

As Coulson walked out, Loki appeared.

Outside.

Coulson saw Sig, who had barged in.

"You've got the wrong guy! He's neurotic! Seriously!!"

Darcy wasn't concerned about Thor and had ended up following him, only to be arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

"Neurotic?" Coulson frowned.

The guy who took down several of their top agents, you're calling him neurotic? Coulson wouldn't believe that for a second!

Without rigorous training, he wouldn't have such combat skills, which is why Coulson suspected Thor was a mercenary.

"It's true! He says he's Thor, the god of thunder from Asgard! Banished to Earth because he made mistakes!"

"He also says the satellite you're guarding is his Mjolnir! That's why he broke in!"

Sig was shouting.

Then, hearing Sig's words, several agents turned to look at her with an inexplicable expression.

Well, it kind of makes sense!

We almost believed it!

Also, Asgard, Thor, Mjolnir…

At that moment, Coulson nearly suspected that Thor really was neurotic.

Because this is simply too unreal!

If we ignore Thor's strong body and combat skills.

"That's right! He also said he has an uncle on Earth!"

"An uncle? What's his name?" Coulson's eyes lit up.

Maybe that was the breakthrough point!

"He said his uncle's name is Alaric and that he's also a powerful mage on Earth! He says that as soon as he finds his uncle, he can return to Asgard!"

Sig was speaking loudly, whether true or not, better to say it all first!

What if these "FBI" believe it and release Thor or even find his family?

Then Coulson went silent.

If he remembered correctly, he knew that Alaric and Alaric was indeed a powerful mage.

Alright, a breakthrough point had been found.

Was that breakthrough point too unbelievable!!

Why was it Alaric again!

Why was this supernatural event, happening thousands of miles away, once again connected to Alaric!!

Also, this person named Thor didn't look young at all; how could he be Alaric's nephew?!

Are you sure you're not lying to me!?

So, this guy who calls himself Thor, could he be some figure from the magical side!?

Coulson felt that things were becoming quite serious.

"You wait over here, I'll make a call."

"Okay."

Coulson said that, stepped aside, and called Fury.

"Coulson, how's it going?"

"Sir, things are a little unexpected."

"Speak!"

"Sir, someone broke into the base and tried to take the hammer, after failing, I put him under control."

Coulson gave a brief report.

"What kind of situation is that? Isn't it enough to just arrest and interrogate him?"

"It should've been, but a woman ran over and said the man, who calls himself Thor, has an uncle named Alaric."

Coulson said helplessly.

"Wait! What did you say, Alaric?!" Fury suspected something was wrong with his hearing and that he misheard.

"Alaric."

"Alaric?!"

"That's Alaric! The mage! The one who punished you!"

A vein popped on Coulson's forehead; he raised his voice.

"… Fuck!!" Fury finally believed it.

But damn it, Coulson, can you refrain from bringing up that last sentence!?

"Why is it that guy Alaric again?!" Fury had a terrible headache.

Some people always appear before you just when you want to forget them.

You can't get enough of them, yet you're helpless!!

That's exactly how Fury felt.

Especially, why does Alaric, whom he always wants to avoid, keep showing up again and again!?
