Chapter 1 - Starting Template, Yoriichi

On the main street of Karakura Town.

A boy with orange hair and a little girl were dodging the attack of a gigantic monster.

The monster was several stories high, spider-like in appearance, its head covered by a white mask, and it let out a tremendous roar.

Just as the monster was about to catch up to the two—

A mysterious young man descended from the sky, his combination of casual clothes and a katana looking rather unusual.

He drew his sword, put strength into his arms, and slashed a circular arc in the air. The blade was enveloped in flames, forming a searing arc of fire.

A large amount of blood sprayed from the monster's head, and its body split in two before dissipating.

Then, the young man sheathed his sword, glanced back at the two, and walked away.

Not far away, a girl wearing a black kimono silently watched the scene.

— — —

Two days ago.

In Karakura Town, inside a single-family home with a small courtyard.

Nohara Shin scooped up a handful of water, wiped his face, and vigorously patted his cheeks, trying to wake himself up.

Looking at his reflection in the mirror, he saw thick black hair and delicate features, but it was not the appearance he was familiar with.

'The appearance is okay. But seriously, who can tell me why I transmigrated just by trying to eat a meal?'

Kentaro (Previous life name) was not a native of this world. In fact, his soul originated from another world.

As an office worker, Kentaro finished his busy morning and went downstairs to order a pork cutlet bowl, but he transmigrated before he could even take a bite.

Since when did pork cutlet bowls become a transmigration package?

His current body was named Nohara Shin. Shin's parents had passed away, leaving behind a decent amount of assets and a house.

After graduating from university, Shin returned to Karakura Town, found a job, and lived an ordinary, uneventful life.

Today, Shin suddenly died from continuous late-night overworking.

After receiving the original owner's memories and learning that this was Karakura Town, Shin couldn't stay calm.

Isn't this where the main characters of Bleach live?

The level of danger here is definitely no less than that of Beika Town, where Conan resides.

He had watched Bleach many years ago, and it was actually one of the works that got him into anime.

However, he was too busy in high school, so he only sporadically watched up until Aizen was sealed, and only recently finished the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.

'Transmigrating to a dangerous world like Bleach, and specifically in Karakura Town, a place of high spiritual being concentration, in fact, the greatest in the Human World.'

'Why couldn't it be Seireitei? I'd even accept the Rukongai if necessary.'

As an ordinary person, Shin felt an urge to run away.

'Wait, where's the System? Where is the System that's standard equipment for transmigrators?'

Shin was fully aware that, as an ordinary person, he could only pin his hopes on a System to help him out.

However, silence reigned all around. There was no sound of the System that Shin was anticipating.

Shin lied on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Although his body was exhausted, his chaotic thoughts kept him awake, forcing him to ponder what to do next.

'Should I go find the main character group? But as an ordinary person, I'd only be stuck on the sidelines.'

'Besides, I don't know what stage the plot has reached yet.'

'If only I knew what year the story started.'

'Should I try to kill myself to enter Soul Society?'

'That's too ridiculous. I might get wiped out by a Hollow before I even make it to Soul Society.'

'As expected, I should just sell the house and run away.'

...

'Forget it, I won't think about it anymore.'

'I'll face whatever comes. First, I need to sleep.'

Late at night, just as Shin was about to fall asleep.

[You have activated the Template Gacha System.]

Shin instantly lost all drowsiness and jolted upright.

'System, you're playing hard to get, aren't you?'

[A spin can be performed for every 1000 accumulated Points.]

After the initial excitement, Shin looked at the system panel and felt uneasy.

In his previous life, Shin had played many gacha games. However, he had to rely on filling the pity meter.

To Shin, "Gacha" was certainly not a wonderful term.

[Congratulations to the Host on receiving the starter pack: Gacha spin X1.]

Shin's lips twitched.

One spin? Just one spin!

This... isn't this a bit too stingy?

'Forget it, it's better than nothing. This is precious starting capital.'

Shin got up and walked to the bathroom, turned on the faucet, washed his hands, and then his face.

He decided to rely on metaphysics.

He decided to spin right there in the toilet, the bathroom was the legendary holy land for gacha.

'System, begin the spin.'

Subsequently, Templates flashed past in front of Shin.

The next moment, a flash of golden light appeared, a single Template flew out, and the rest of the Templates vanished.

"Yes! I got it!"

The card showed a swordsman wearing earrings, dressed in a red haori, with red eyes, red hair, and a red mark on his forehead.

[Congratulations to the Host on drawing the Tsugikuni Yoriichi Template.]

Yoriichi!

The absolute powerhouse of Demon Slayer!

He was born with powerful abilities like the Demon Slayer Mark and the Transparent World, and he created the original breathing style: Sun Breathing.

He once defeated Muzan with overwhelming power, causing Muzan to live in fear for centuries.

Shin was ecstatic, this single spin had changed his fate.

'Sure enough, gacha metaphysics is somewhat useful. System, pull up the panel.'

[Host: Nohara Shin]

[Template : Tsugikuni Yoriichi]

[Abilities]

[Sun Breathing (First Form: Dance, Second Form: Clear Blue Sky, Third Form: Raging Sun, Fourth Form: Fake Rainbow, Fifth Form: Fire Wheel, Sixth Form: Burning Bones, Summer Sun, Seventh Form: Sunflower Thrust, Eighth Form: Solar Heat Haze, Ninth Form: Setting Sun Transformation, Tenth Form: Beneficent Radiance, Eleventh Form: Dragon Sun Halo Head Dance, Twelfth Form: Flame Dance, Thirteenth Form)]

[Demon Slayer Mark: Significantly enhances physical attributes.]

[Transparent World: Hides one's presence, significantly enhances personal speed, prediction, and evasion of attacks, and allows one to see the target's spiritual energy flow.]

[Bright Red Nichirin Blade: Restricts the target's spiritual energy recovery and physical healing.]

Shin clearly felt the improvement in his physical attributes at this moment.

Now, he wouldn't have to run away anymore, right?

To be honest, this was different from what Shin had imagined.

He had thought the System would tell him to earn Points and slowly unlock the Template's full abilities. He hadn't expected to get 100% of the Template's power right from the start. It seemed Points were purely for gacha spins.

'High-ranking Captain level, huh?' Shin was very excited.

'I wonder how many Kenseis I could take on right now?'

However, Shin didn't let the sudden surge in power blind him.

He knew clearly that what had increased was only his power level, not his actual combat skill. To fully utilize this power, he would have to improve his ability application and practical experience through combat.

'I have to sleep. I definitely don't want to die suddenly again. I'll go find a Hollow to test my power tomorrow.'
