Chapter 175 - Chapter 174. Gwen said she wanted to move in and was picking out a room.

After the Ancient One left, Alaric looked at Gwen, Clea, and Amora, who were chatting lively.

"Tell me, how long have you known each other?" Alaric asked suspiciously.

Or is it some kind of ability?

Even if you meet for the first time, you immediately become good friends?

"I came to your place when the aliens started attacking, and you weren't here, so I met Clea and sister Amora, oh, and your teacher too!" Gwen explained.

"Sister Amora…"

Alaric twitched the corner of his mouth, you really moved fast into that stage.

"Of course, I'm the oldest one here after all."

Amora smiled.

She didn't hide the fact that she had lived for more than two thousand years.

"As long as you're all happy."

Alaric shook his head.

At that moment, his phone rang, Jane was calling.

"Jane, are you okay?"

Alaric answered and quietly stepped away from the couch.

The three beauties, each with her own charm, immediately quieted down and thoughtfully followed his silhouette as he walked away.

Their looks made Alaric feel a chill down his spine.

Objectively, he hadn't even done anything!?

"Gwen, you say Alaric has a girlfriend, in England?" Amora suddenly asked.

"Yes, she is, an excellent scientist, an astronomer."

Gwen nodded.

Lately, Gwen had often come to Alaric's place whenever she had time, so she knew about Jane.

Clea, on the other hand, came only when Loki arrived on Earth and stole the Cosmic Cube, so she hadn't met Gwen earlier.

Until today, Gwen didn't know that two girls already lived in Alaric's house!

She was completely shocked.

You know, she had been here countless times and never even thought about moving in!

Turns out she reacted too late!

That made Gwen start thinking whether she too should reserve a room here.

There were enough rooms anyway!

"So, this Jane Foster is just an ordinary person?"

Amora asked.

"Yes."

"Then it's clear."

Amora narrowed her eyes and smiled.

Just an ordinary person, how could she compete with her?

Amora was a powerful witch and a member of the Asgardian gods.

So in her eyes, perhaps only these two in front of her deserved to be taken seriously.

Gwen had superpowers and solid strength.

And Clea, although her magic level was currently low, Amora clearly felt an enormous magical energy within her, and once she learned the proper spells, she could become an extremely powerful sorceress!

And that magical energy Amora sensed in Clea came from Alaric.

Gwen noticed how Amora narrowed her eyes looking at her and Clea, so she instinctively tensed up and returned the look.

Both of them instantly felt mutual threat.

Only Clea looked around confused.

"Speaking of which, have you picked rooms?" Gwen suddenly asked.

"We have. Miss Gwen, would you like to move in too?" Amora said sweetly.

"I remember Miss Gwen said she's still in high school, can you even live alone away from home?"

Gwen fell silent.

Yes, she was still a high school student, there's no way she could officially move out.

"But I do have a lot of free time."

Gwen muttered stubbornly, heading toward the residential area on the second floor.

Even if she couldn't live here all the time, she could at least choose a room in advance!

First come, first served!

That way, when one day she is able to move, she can come straight here!

And also save time looking for an apartment!!

"We took the rooms to the left and right of Alaric's~"

Amora said cheerfully.

Gwen paused for a moment and quietly clenched her fists.

Damn it! Just one night, and they already managed to settle right next to him!

"Hmm… is anyone in the room across from Alaric's?" Gwen asked.

"No, but there are a lot of things inside, probably someone lived there before," Clea said.

"Who lived there?"

Gwen opened the door and entered.

The room was pretty clean and tidy, without many personal items, except for a few books.

Gwen randomly picked up a book and opened it; on the first page was written the name: Daniel.

"Who's this now?"

"Probably one of the mages from Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One mentioned that Daniel was the last guardian of the temple here," Clea recalled.

"And where is he now?"

"He returned to Kamar-Taj."

"Then why are his things still here?" Gwen frowned.

"But, never mind! I'm taking this room!!" Gwen clapped her hands, determined.

As for his things, she'd talk to Alaric later and have Daniel come pick them up.

"If you like it, go ahead."

Amora had no objection.

...

Alaric's bedroom.

"Jane, are you okay?"

"Alaric, I saw you on the news!"

Jane sounded excited.

"Alaric, you're a real savior now, you know that!"

"Savior and all that, those are titles others stick on you."

Alaric said those things were fleeting, few would remember them.

"I don't care! You're a savior! A superhero!!"

"I'm your superhero~" Alaric laughed.

"Alaric, I want to come to New York," Jane suddenly said.

"I'll come get you."

"No, I mean… I want to work and live in New York from now on. What do you think about that?"

Jane actually wanted to say: I want to live with you.

But she didn't know what Alaric thought, so she had to approach it indirectly.

"Of course, we'll be closer. When do you plan to come?"

Alaric welcomed the idea sincerely.

"I need a little time, when I finish this project I'm working on, I'm coming!" Jane said excitedly.

"Alright! Just let me know."

Alaric could appear at her place anytime he wanted, but he knew Jane had a lot of work and was exhausted, so he didn't want to disturb her often.

That's why he was genuinely happy about her idea to come to New York.

"Deal!"

They talked for a while longer, then ended the call.

When Alaric came out, he saw the trio, Gwen, Clea, and Amora, standing in front of the room opposite his.

"What are you doing?"

"Gwen says she's moving in, picking a room," Clea explained.

"Seriously?" Alaric looked at Gwen in surprise.

He thought she was just joking earlier, but it turned out she was serious.

"Don't you want me here?" Gwen stiffened.

"It's not that… it's just, you're still in school, will your family allow it?"

Alaric scratched his head.

"I won't be here every day, I can come occasionally!"

"Then… if you're happy."
