Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: The War is About to Start

Nick Fury's voice came through.

"Tony, I know about your humanoid armor project. Listen carefully—Osborn has bred hundreds of Lizards under OsCorp Tower."

Tony Stark, still lying in bed, shot upright. His interest in the blonde beside him vanished instantly.

He had seen the Lizard in the Spider duo's footage. He knew its power. And now there were *hundreds*.

It was a nightmare force that could bring disaster to Earth.

Fury pressed on.

"Tony, I don't need to explain how serious this is. For New York—for America—I'm asking you to step in."

The blonde woman blinked, baffled.

But Tony was already standing.

"I'm on it."

Meanwhile, NYPD swarmed the streets around OsCorp Tower, working to evacuate civilians in a several-kilometer radius.

But the population density made it a near-impossible task.

Underground, Norman Osborn sensed something was wrong.

"Why hasn't Connors returned? Could it be those two Spider-Men?"

Mounting his glider, he shot out of the basement—

only to see an entire floor in ruins, and police cars choking the streets outside. Tank engines rumbled nearby.

He grinned maniacally.

"So, they've found me. But what of it? I have four hundred Lizards! My power will sweep the globe. I'll be king of the world! Since you can't wait to be enslaved, come meet your new master!"

A blue glow pulsed at his neck, turning red.

Beneath the tower, vats drained.

The cloned Lizards opened their eyes, filled with bloodlust.

Glass shattered.

Hundreds of three-meter-tall beasts stormed upward.

Mac Gargan, now the towering Scorpion, lumbered after them.

On the rooftop, after a desperate chase, Natasha and Clint were cornered.

The roof split apart—Connors's monstrous form erupted from below.

He glared at them with savage hunger.

They exchanged a look.

"Time's up. Let's fall back."

They dove off the building.

In midair, Clint fired an arrow into the wall, the line catching as he pulled Natasha close.

They landed safely.

Above, Connors roared, then hurled himself from the hundred-meter tower, claws ripping down walls as he fell.

His arms shredded to bone, but healed within seconds.

On a nearby rooftop, Garfield and Holland's Spider-Men stood watching.

They saw the swarm of police cars and military units converging.

"Something's gone terribly wrong. Let's move."

They swung toward OsCorp.

And Bully Maguire?

He was sprawled on his bed, staring at the golden lottery wheel.

He had spent his last 100 Bully Points.

The pointer clicked.

[Congratulations. Host has acquired: Armament Haki, Advanced.]

Maguire grinned wide.

"Perfect. Exactly what I needed."

Venom could shape into blades, whips, and tentacles—but its hardness was lacking. Deadly to common foes, yes, but against greater enemies? Weak.

Now, with Armament Haki hardening Venom's weapons, combined with his monstrous strength—he was unstoppable.

At OsCorp Tower, Norman Osborn soared out on his glider.

Beside him loomed the giant Lizard and the massive Scorpion.

Behind them, hundreds of Lizards poured into the night, howling.

The streets were locked down by military, FBI, and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

Natasha, Hawkeye, Captain George Stacy, and Phil Coulson stood ready, eyes wide at the army.

"My god… is this the end of America?"

"Has hell itself come to Earth?"

Then a fiery trail streaked overhead.

A steel figure slammed down before them—

Iron Man.

Tony scanned the horde, his expression grim.

One wrong move, and America could fall.

This plague had to be eradicated here and now.

He raised his voice.

"I'm Tony Stark. Forget about my armor—focus on wiping these things out."

The others nodded.

Osborn laughed madly.

"You think your weapons can defeat me and my army? Dream on. Behold your world's new king!"

Two more figures swung down—

the Spider duo, Garfield and Holland.

They froze, stunned by the sight.

They knew the terror of a single Lizard.

And here stood hundreds, plus giants.

The thought chilled them both:

"New York is finished."

Yet the crowd cheered at their arrival.

Iron Man even gave them a wave.

But Garfield quickly called Maguire.

The bully was half-asleep when the phone rang.

"Get to OsCorp now. Hundreds of Lizards, two monsters. If you won't fight, then leave New York forever. Don't forget—we were friends once."

Maguire's eyes lit up.

"What? Hundreds of Lizards? Giant monsters? Am I dreaming? Wait for me—I'm coming."

He pinched himself.

"No dream. Jackpot. OsCorp—I love you."

He trembled with excitement.

Venom, horrified, muttered inside.

"Hundreds of monsters—and he's happy? He's terrifying. I must never cross him."

Maguire seized his Venom suit—

and with a single leap, vanished into the night.
