Revenge Rule #5: Never be afraid of staining your hands with blood.
"You flatter me Alex" Lilac tucked her hair behind her ears shyly.
"It's not flattering when it's true." Alex's eyes darkened with desire. When he saw her on the floor, eyes filled with tears, it stirred his protective side, he wanted to hold her in his arms forever.
Lilac saw a flash of something in his eyes that she couldn't quite catch, was it love or was it obsession?
Ivy trotted over holding a small first aid kid. She sat beside Lilac, "Give me your hand."
Before Lilac could stretch out her hand Alex stood up. Gesturing to Ivy he said, "Move away, I'll do it."
"Can you actually?" She did not look convinced.
"Move" He glared at her, holding the urge to push her away.
Ivy stood up quietly after handing him the kit. Alex sat beside Lilac and drew her hand to him. He pressed a cotton swab soaked in antiseptic against her skin. She hissed in pain when it came in contact with her skin.
"I'll try to be gentle" Alex softly said, he blew on her wound a couple of times while cleaning it up.
Ivy's eyes had a lost look seeing how gently he was treating Lilac, he'd never been that gentle with her….or any of his women outside as far as she knew.
Unbeknownst to them some paparazzi managed to take a couple of pictures of them and posted them all under an eye-catching title.

"Thank you Alex and Mrs Dey for your help." Lilac smiled standing by her car. Ivy and Alex insisted on walking her to her car.
"It was no problem. Also you can just call me Ivy." She waved her hand dismissively.
"Okay Ivy."
"Can I have your name card now? You said you'd give me if we met again." Alex quickly said before she could leave.
Lilac, appalled, took a quick look at Ivy's face to gauge her reaction. Ivy did not seem bothered at all instead she was looking into the distance ignoring the conversation they were having.
"I unfortunately also did not bring my card today." She winced. "Uhm…I could just give you my number instead!" She added seeing his face fall.
Alex beamed handing her his phone, she imputed her number and dialed it. Her phone in her pocket rang.
"Thank you Lilac!" If Ivy hadn't been there he would have hugged her tightly.
She smiled warmly thinking Bless Ivy
"Can I have your number?"
She was referring to Ivy this time.

Once she got home without changing her clothes she fell head first into her bed.
Today was an eventful day, she thought, looking at the two new contacts on her phone. Alex was surprisingly good at taking care of wounds and before she knew it he had cleaned it up and covered it with a band aid.
Lilac sat up after resting a bit and picked up an inconspicuous black notebook from her bedside table. She opened it and in bright red on the top of the page was a header. 'Revenge List' from number one to eight, names had been written.
They had been ranked based on their level of importance and simplicity.
Number one was in caps underlined with a red pen.

She barely glanced at the number one instead fixated her gaze below.
Who was going to be Lilac's next target?
"Mini Mini Mani Mo!" Her voice filled with glee filled the room, "Number 3 Mike Rowen…"
Mike Rowen was the head of the Rowen family and President of RWN, they were also a jewelry company however they specialized in gold while Ezra's company, diamonds. Mike had four kids and the company was being run by his eldest, Brandon Rowen.
"Jackpot!" Lilac eyes brightened seeing a way to get closer to the Rowen family and in turn get revenge on Mike. A loud laughter escaped her, a broken laughter to numb the pain of it all.
She would have easily gotten an assassin like her uncle suggested to kill everyone on her revenge list and also Mike but that would have been too easy for them. Instead what she wanted was to make him, Mike, watch all his hard work slowly go down the drain and watch him lose his mind. Then finally kill him herself.
She didn't care about the bullshit about staining her hands with blood just like they'd never cared about the damage they were causing or staining their hands with the blood of her family.
Her mother, father, brother, their workers…everyone. She'll pay them back ten times and make them regret everything even if it ruined her in the process.
Thinking of this Lilac dialed a number that was saved as 'Mother2'
"Aiah silly girl! You're finally willing to call, what problems have you encountered?" Beatrix, the Matriarch of the Callen family said. She was considered Lilac's mother since she adopted her.
"I need to talk to Emily… but you know how she gets."
"Say no more. I'll handle her." Beatrix reassured
"Thank you Aunt."
After exchanging a few more words Beatrix hung up. A few minutes later Lilac's phone rang.
An annoyed voice came through once she picked up, "what do you want?"
"Hi to you too, Emily."
"Lilac, what is the problem?"
Emily Callen, the first daughter and third child of the Callen family. She was a strong and beautiful woman who built her own empire on her own, since she wasn't the heir or a boy for that matter she wasn't in line to inherit the family business however Emily built her own company from scratch. She managed to get her father & the shareholders, see and acknowledge her capabilities and because of this she ended up inheriting the family empire and merged it with hers.
"I need your help!"

After hanging up Lilac released the breath she was holding while talking to Emily. She was genuinely scared of her sister. Emily was even more scary on days like this when she had issues with her husband, Zade Callen, he had married into her family due to an arranged marriage. Over time he and Emily had developed a bond and even had a kid together who unfortunately died in a car crash when she was two, this caused a strain in the duo's relationship.
Sighing for the umpteenth time Lilac went to pack her bags, she was going to Country V to see Emily, and also maybe, visit her 'family'. The most influential family in Country V.
Maybe it was because she talked to Emily but Lilac had a dream, a dream of how she met Emily and got adopted by her mother.
