Chapter 108 - Chapter 108 – Bloody Battle in the Planar Prison (Part 2)

"Humph."

Goldfeather let out a muffled grunt.

"This guy is actually a soul mutate… his strength even surpasses mine by a slight margin."

Soul mutate?

Adkins didn't truly understand what a soul mutation meant. He had always remained within the Yulan Plane and had never encountered one before. However, in his long divine life, he had heard rumors of such beings.

"How strong can it really be? Even if a mere Midgod has a mutated soul, at most…"

"…he's only slightly stronger than me. Perhaps only Bluefire could truly suppress him."

Adkins stared at Sadius in disbelief. Was he really this strong?

If that was the case, why should he bother helping Goldfeather?

"Midgod, would you kindly step aside? We just want to leave this damned planar prison."

"Humph! Let you leave? So you can go to the Yulan Continent and slaughter mortals to refine soul gold beads?"

Adkins froze.

Indeed, those trapped in the planar prison needed treasures like soul gold beads to nourish their souls. Naturally, they would wreak havoc on the Yulan Continent, slaughtering mortals to refine these beads.

In the eyes of deities, mortals were no different from ants. Kill them, and within a few decades or centuries, they would repopulate again.

So what would guarantee that Adkins wouldn't massacre once he returned to the Yulan Continent?

Perhaps only Beirut and Bluefire personally speaking would make these Gods restrain themselves.

"So you're really choosing to stand against us?" Adkins' tone grew impatient.

"If you swear an oath before the Supreme God that you will not kill any lifeform on the Yulan Plane, and immediately depart for the Divine Plane, I'll let you leave."

"Just you alone? Do you really think you can stop all of us?"

Adkins immediately joined forces with Goldfeather.

"That's more like it. My people from Goldfeather City will arrive soon as well. Even if he's someone on the Prefecture Lord's level, today he must die!"

A six-star Fiend and a seven-star Fiend—the two didn't hesitate and launched their assault together.

A group of Midgods and Lowgods unleashed material attacks and soul attacks in Euniceon, all converging on Sadius.

Sadius immediately unfolded a Gravity Domain.

Because his Darkness clone lacked a Soulstone, he could only channel earth-elemental divine power and use earth-type profound mysteries. Thus, he couldn't casually employ his ultimate move, the Amethyst Space.

Instead, he formed a fixed spherical domain that generated massive gravity and repulsive force.

Even so, this technique was enough to control this group of Midgods and Lowgods.

Sadius evaded the collective attacks of the deities and immediately lunged toward Goldfeather and Adkins with his sword.

Adkins, being only a six-star Fiend, was truly foolish—fooled into teaming up with Goldfeather.

Did he not realize that a top-tier seven-star Fiend's battle was something a mere six-star Fiend could not hope to interfere with?

With just a single sword strike, Sadius sent Adkins flying!

Goldfeather seized the opportunity to slash at Sadius.

Sadius was forced to dodge hurriedly.

Goldfeather, with his natural talent in speed, was inherently faster than Sadius, forcing Sadius into a passive defense. For a moment, he was driven into a rather awkward situation.

"Humph! Behind you is the spatial passage. You have nowhere to escape. If you dodge, more Gods will pour out of the planar prison."

Goldfeather exploited Sadius' weakness, constantly circling and launching hit-and-run attacks, never clashing head-on.

Sadius was helpless. He had to guard the spatial passage.

Meanwhile, deep within the Stellar Fog Sea, Sadius' true body and two divine clones were still comprehending profound mysteries.

Now, the only thing he could do was increase his understanding of the mysteries.

Especially the Amethyst Space—if he could achieve a fourfold fusion, then even without a Soulstone, he could still withstand any seven-star Fiend head-on.

Likewise, if he could completely fuse the profound mysteries of Darkness and the Pulsing Earth, achieving a triple fusion would be within reach.

Back in the Gebados Planar Prison another batch of deities soon arrived—likely Goldfeather's subordinates from Goldfeather City.

"All of you, use long-range attacks only! Don't get close to that man!"

Earlier, the group of Gods who had rashly attacked Sadius were still trapped within his eerie Gravity Domain. Goldfeather didn't dare let his subordinates approach too near.

A new wave of long-range attacks rained down.

Sadius immediately cast the Shadow-Splitting Technique.

Although this mystery was not yet perfected, summoning a few dark-energy clones posed no problem.

Several divine clones intercepted the enemies' attacks.

Sadius continued his duel with Goldfeather.

This man was shameless. Whenever he was about to be overwhelmed, he would order his subordinates to launch attacks, forcing Sadius into defense, allowing Goldfeather to regain a slight upper hand.

He was deliberately trying to grind Sadius down little by little, sapping his combat strength.

But Sadius wouldn't let him have his way.

Amid their fierce battle, he continuously sought to fuse the Darkness and Pulsing Earth profound mysteries.

With each passing moment—and with his other divine clones in seclusion gaining insight—his progress accelerated rapidly.

Often, in life-and-death combat, Sadius' comprehension advanced at incredible speed.

It was as if he was born for battle.

While others might remain in closed-door meditation for thousands, even tens of thousands of years without breakthrough, he could gain new insights from a single intense battle.

"I've already notified the other two monarchs. Even if you stall, once they arrive and join forces with me, it will be your death!" Goldfeather sneered.

"Humph! I've also contacted Lord Beirut. Let's see whose reinforcements arrive first!"

Just then—a figure emerged from the other end of the spatial passage.

Beirut?

No—it was a woman.

Sadius immediately sensed her aura.

Wasn't that his disciple, Lina?!

Damn it! Didn't I tell her to stay put and not wander around?!

Why had she come through the planar passage to this prison?

She was merely an eighth-rank necromancer—any casual divine power shockwave from the deities present could kill her instantly!

"Get out of here, now!" Sadius roared via divine sense.

Lina hadn't expected that her curiosity about the strange passage would lead her here. The moment she stepped out, she was hit by a thunderous transmission.

She froze in terror.

The battle before her eyes was too horrifying—space itself was being casually shredded apart.

Countless mighty figures unleashed attacks more terrifying than forbidden magic.

Yet her teacher blocked every single one.

Just as Lina came to her senses and tried to retreat—Adkins, standing nearby, immediately unleashed divine power to grab her.

He was certain this woman had a special relationship with Sadius. If he captured her, Sadius would be forced to hesitate.

The speed of a Highgod was unbelievably fast.

Before the eighth-rank Lina could react, a whip of divine power coiled around her body!

Seeing this, Sadius immediately split his focus and severed the whip.

But that single moment of distraction—gave Goldfeather the opening he was waiting for.

Goldfeather's divine sword slashed straight toward Sadius!
