Jill decides to help her out with the groceries, as they went to get 15 tomatoes, 10 breads, 5 lettuce, 2 of fruits that seemed like oranges, 4 red bananas they called 'Naruit fruits', and 6 bags of grains.
"Grains?" Jill says with an uncertain look on her face.
"Yes, as grains are mainly used in elven cuisine, as they give a lot of extra vitamins to us," Juliette replied.
"Really?" Jill said as she didn't believe what she said, but Juliette assured her that it should be the case for any living being, but it is just more effective with elves.
"That makes sense."
"Good to hear, now let's go back to Her Majesty's castle."
As the three went back, Clad ended up lifting the majority of the bags, complaining about it, but Jill quickly shut him up, as she knew that he was barely struggling and was pretending.
"Okay, sure, but why am I carrying all the heavy bags?" Clad asks them.
"Jill, you could easily lift everything here, with no help at all!" He added, with a tired look on his face
"We're almost back to the castle anyway, so you might as well lift them until we're there," Jill replied.
Tsk
(a few minutes later)
They came back to the castle with the groceries. Clad and Jill went to their respective rooms, with Clad being in the same room as Adonis. The room's walls were made of wood, and two beds that were on opposite sides of each other. There was a table under the window that was facing right in front of the door, showing the night sky.
"Hey, Clad," Adonis said as he lay on the bed on the left
"What's up?" Clad replies as he gets on the other bed.
"Recently I've been feeling oddly awake for some reason," He said as he looked up to the wooden ceiling that had a drawing of elven women farming next to a river.
"You probably re-awakened recently or something," Clad replied, which made Adonis chuckle.
Heh
"Yeah, right." It takes him a few seconds to realize that Clad wasn't joking, which annoys Clad a little bit.
"Wait, you're serious?" Adonis said with a surprised look as he quickly turned around towards him.
"Could be, or you're just not tired."
"Now don't interact with me," Clad told him as he closed his eyes.
Clad attempted to train his energy as he was on his bed, attempting to feel the pink and white colored energy inside his heart, but he noticed something: his energy source seemed damaged.
"Huh, that's weird, it's not like I carelessly use my mana or anything."
"So why is my Spark in such bad condition?" He thought to himself as he tried to concentrate on his heart.
"Is it because of the shattering?"
"It could be, but I'll have to train my energy back to normal again..."
As Clad started his mana, another energy got closer to him, foreign and yellow, raising questions about what it was. He opened his eyes only to see Adonis tapping his shoulder.
Clad rapidly backed away from his hand to tell him that he had almost ended with mana counterflow due to him tapping his shoulder while he was training his mana flow, which scared him.
"Oh shit, my bad," Adonis said as he scratched his head.
"I should remember not to do this with only him around anymore!" Clad said with sweat going down his face.
