(Chad Jones)

Defense:20

Speed:20

Spirit:75

Stamina:20

Recovery:59

Ability Energy:750

I looked at my stat screen, waiting for them as I had earned 200 stat points and changed my plans to use them. I put 150 into Spirit, and 10 into each of Strength, Defense, Speed, Stamina, and Recovery. Now I was three times as fast and strong, along with the defense and stamina to match them. Looking at the Ability Energy that was sitting at 2,250 now made me smile as I felt like I wouldn't run out in a fight, at least if I only used my Sub-Zero abilities.

Now for the Evil Skill points, I was debating on getting a new skill or leveling up the two skills. A new skill could be helpful, but at the same time, I could get two skills of no importance, so I ended up upgrading one skill, my sub-zero ability. It costs 100 skill points to level up your skills for the first time, and after that, it increases by ten times. As I pressed the level-up button on the skill, the information changed on it.

(Host Upgrade his Bi-Han's Cryomancer powers, this ability only costs 5 Ability energy per use now, and the host can now use moves just by thinking their names.)

Smiling at the new information, this made fighting so much less stressful for me as I went and pinned the Evil Skill Wheel, hoping for something useful for me. As I waited for the wheel to stop, the three women returned in their uniforms, looking at them and sighing. "I need an outfit myself," I said, making the four women laugh and nod.

The wheel stopped, and I smiled when I got the notification.

(Host has gotten T-1000 mimetic polyalloy. This ability lets the host have the same body as him, letting him shapeshift, turn his arms into blades, and have the same defensive skills. Making the host have increased defenses. For every minute this ability is active, it costs 10 Ability Energy.)

Well, I'm be damned, this is a hell of a defensive ability, not the best one. But it makes me less scared of guns, as they can't kill the T-1000, and the only things that could hurt him were extreme heat, like molten metal, and EMPs. So as long as I stay away from those two things, I should be good for the most part.

"Barbara, give us the address where you lost signal for her," Vixen said as we walked to the elevator. Entering the elevator, Harley put her arms over my shoulders as she spoke. "Don't worry, Chad, I will look out for you. You are going to have a blast with us. It's going to be a wild time." She said, as I put my arm around her waist, which made her look shocked for a moment as I spoke. "You'd better show me a good time, but Black Canary's safety is priority," I said.

I gave her waist a pinch as we walked out of the elevator, and she looked at me with a grin on her face. "Ballsy, Chad." She said as we got into a car and sped off towards the lost known location of Black Canary. We pulled up to an abandoned part of Gotham and got out as we looked around. I noticed a manhole cover slightly open.

"Vixen, I found a manhole cover open. I am going to look in the sewer." I said over the voice coms as I pulled the manhole off and jumped inside. I found a body lying up against the wall as I leaned down and pressed the coms. "Vixen, I found something," I said. After a few minutes, she jumped down the hole.

"What did you find?" She asked, it was the Court of Owls, or at least they had a hand in this. But I didn't say that, as I was nothing but a homeless kid before I met Black Canary. "I found a dead body," I said.

"Oracle, we found a dead minon of The Court of Owls. We will keep looking around here." Vixen said as we kept walking until we came across movement in the sewers. I hid in the shadows as two guards walked by, and Vixen and Harley knocked them out. We had been walking for ten minutes until we entered an open area that had a mansion in it.

"I think we may need some help. Look there." Harley pointed as I followed her finger and noticed Bane, Clayface, The Penguin, Ra's al Ghul, and his League, along with The Court of Owls. Why are so many main villains here?

"Barbara, I think you need to radio in the Bat's or other heroes. It looks like this may get a little complicated here." Vixen said as we slowly moved forward, trying to get closer until we couldn't as I spoke up. "If we can grab a guard, I could get inside and find her," I said, making the three women look at me like I was crazy.

"Hear me out first," I said before turning into Vixen with my new skill, and my voice sounded just like hers as she and the two others looked at me in shock. Returning to my original form, I spoke. "If we can get a guard, I can switch places with him and find Black Canary. If she is wounded, I can heal her, and we will have another fighter on our side." I said, making the three bounce the idea around in their heads before Vixen spoke.

"How sure are you of finding her?" She asked, making me sigh. "I am not sure at all, but all I know is I want to save her and would risk my life. As I would do for you three also, this team has pushed me onto a path I never thought I would walk, and it's easier when you have someone walking next to you." I said, smiling at them.

After a few minutes, Vixen spoke. "Fine, but don't do anything reckless unless you have to. I don't want to hear Barbara nagging me." She said as the girls prepared to grab a guard for me, and I smiled at them. "I won't unless I have to do it to protect Black Canary or any innocent person from harm," I said, and they nodded.

They ended up grabbing one of the penguins' men, knocking them out, as I looked at the man and started to change into him, and I stood up. "Wish me luck, girls," I said, winking at them before walking out and joining a group heading inside the mansion.

Entering the mansion, I kept an ear out as I walked around the floors, hearing something. "We have almost met the quota for slaves, Ra's al Ghul. Give us another couple of hours, and you will have what you want." The Penguin said, making me understand what was going on. "Fine, but if you don't get the number by tonight, I won't pay the amount we talked about." He said as I kept walking by.

"You! Go check on the slaves." The Penguin said, making me stop and look around before I spoke. "Sure, boss," I said in the most goon-like way possible. Before I started walking, I hadn't been able to check all the places, so I looked for another goon and pulled him to the side. I acted like a dumb goon. "The boss wants me to check on the slaves, which room are they in again?" Making the guy click his tongue.

"They are in the basement, idiot. Now get going, dumbfuck." He said, kicking me. I scratched the back of my head and nodded as I walked downstairs towards the basement door that was clearly guarded. "The boss wants me to check on the slaves," I said to the two Owl minions as they opened the door, letting me walk in.

Well, that went better than I thought it would. As I walked down the long, spiral stone steps, I came into a prison-like area with cages that had children locked inside them. My blood went cold at the state of the children, making me sigh. First find Black Canary, then save the children. There had to be hundreds of them.
