Skyler's POV
"There's good news and I think it's the best news so far," Noah started as he leaned against the wall, watching me closely.
I calmly fixed my hair in front of the mirror and I waited for him to continue. He seemed to be enjoying the curious look on face as I glared at him through the mirror.
"What do you have to say? Don't waste my time with nonsense like this. Spit out already so I'll know our next move," I said impatiently, these days I had no time for his games.
"Well, I just got news from my parents and the whole kingdom knows about it. I think whatever happened was related to the spell you cast on her. The spell has worked beautifully, and I have nothing to complain about," he said, grinning. Standing up from the seat, I turned to look at him with a curious gaze. I needed to know if he really meant what he just said. Colton was injured, which truly meant that the spell worked just like we had planned.
