Skyler's POV
"We need to hurry. Come this way," Noah held my hand and tried to walk past the guards without being noticed. We finally got to the dungeon and he instantly checked the place. The whole place was empty just like he had promised. The guards really had to leave a place like this unguarded? I had no idea about how I should react.
"I don't know the cell they put him in, so I'll check that place while you check the left," he pointed out and moved to look for Liam. I went to the assigned place and checked the dungeon quickly.
Looking around the place, there was no sign of Liam anywhere. I sighed tiredly, fully aware that we had limited time left. Any more delay and the guards might come back."Liam?" I called him, hoping that he'd answer. The place was just too big and empty. My voice echoed as I called him, and it gave me a weird feeling. Yes, this was my plan, but not what I wanted. Not to be left in a dungeon that made my skin crawl in fear.
