CHAPTER 1
" Mummy " yelled iris a little girl with a long brown hair and bright brown eyes, fair skin and a very pretty face with abig smile on it.
" Mummy look what I found " she added while running towards her mother who was in the corn fields.
" What is it iris?" questioned her mom
" A pretty blue butterfly, I found it over there. isn't it Beautiful?" she replied pointing towards the direction she found it.
" it's really pretty can I keep it?" she added.
" No you can't " irene replied
" but why can't I mummy?" iris asked again
" because it's meant to be free and not to be kept. you wouldn't like it if a giant keeps you in a place far away from home just because you're pretty " irene replied mockingly.
" ok mummy" said iris and she let the butterfly go
" come on iris time to go home " irene said as she stretched out her hands towards iris.
" ok " iris replied and held her mom's hand as they walked home together although iris was a bit sad she had let the butterfly go.
Irene noticed her daughter's sad face and decided to cheer her up.
" you know what iris? " she said
" what mom?"
" seeing a butterfly is a good sign especially if it's a blue one. it means in the future you'll become a beautiful princess. My mother always told me; blue butterflies symbolizes royalty."
" really?" iris asked with wide eyes
irene chuckled to see her daughter's expression and cupped her cheeks.
" it's a good thing you let it go.... your majesty. " irene said and gave a slight bow. and they both let out a loud chuckle as they continued their journey home.

In a nearby kingdom leaves a glorious and charming royal family. The king, King Alfred is a great and fierce leader. Everybody in the kingdom loved him for his great leadership and his great looks. Tall and muscular in nature, long dark brown hair, blue eyes. He's strong and brave, has gone for so many battles and came back victorious.
Queen Helena, a symbol of beauty, long dark hair, a perfect feminine figure, brown eyes and perfectly long lashes. The people of the kingdom love her because of her elegancy, and just like the king, a great ruler. Some people often mistake them for being a 'god' and 'goddess' because of their features.
With such a perfect combination both the prince and the princess are descendants of both a 'god' and a 'goddess'. Though young, one could tell that the prince, prince neil will be a perfect copy of his father and the princess, princess samantha will be no different from the queen.
The king has always trained the prince right from a very young age. He believes " the earlier the better " he trains the prince on how to rule the kingdom so he can be a better king than he is. He always tells Neil " running a kingdom isn't as easy as you think it is. it comes with great responsibility. so that's why you must be prepared on time to be an even greater king than I".
Wherever the king goes he always takes Neil along, be it a gathering of kings, visiting other kingdoms, handling supplies of the kingdom, a stroll round town, or even a mini battle. Neil hardly had time to be his self and relax away from royal duties.
He feels sad whenever he sees other kids his age living normal lives and wishes to live one just like them one day.
Samantha on the other hand is being trained by her mother, the queen, to be an elegant, young and brave duchess so she can assist her brother when it comes to ruling the kingdom. she is also being taught to be a fair and noble lady just like her mother. it doesn't seem like much work for her, but everyone has their role to play in the kingdom.
Young prince neil, after a hard day's royal duty, decided to take a break in the castles garden, The most enchanting place in the castle. it was surrounded with beautiful flowers of different kinds and colours and magnificent trees of ancient kinds. There's also a magnificent and glimmering fountain at the middle of the garden that never runs out.
He sat on a bench at the far end of the garden beside a willow tree and gave a sigh of relief. He finally has some time to feel free and think he wants to make the most out of it.
" I wish every day could be like this " he said to himself.
Meanwhile, samantha hasn't been able to have fun or a little chit-chat with her brother, so now is her chance. she goes round the castle searching for him but he's no where to be found. she began to wonder if he had gone out again but she doubted it because the king said they weren't going anywhere for the rest of the day, ' so where could this boy be ' she wondered. one of the Palace guards happened to be passing by when she stopped him and asked if he had seen the prince anywhere but he replied her with a "NO" and excused himself. Sam was a little pissed so she decided to go to the garden too.
" where could he be now?" she asked herself and sat by the edge of the fountain.
" I mean he's hardly ever around and now I have the chance to talk to him, he disappeared into thin air " she said to herself.
" who disappeared?"
A voice echoed behind here and made her jolt in fear almost falling into the fountain but luckily he caught her on time.
" There you are Brother! " she yelled "I've been looking everywhere for you! where on earth have you been? huh?! And dont you know you startled me just now?! Are you crazy or what Brother? what if I had fallen into the fountain ?, what if I had drowned?, or worse, what if I had...."
" enough sam! enough!" he yelled, cutting her short of her words " jeez you talk too much, I just asked one question. I didn't mean to start a war " he added rolling his eyes, with a sigh.
" but where have you been?! " she asked again.
" I've been around in the garden " he answered throwing his hands in his pockets and turned to walk back to the bench. sam followed him immediately.
" So..... I guess your free now Brother..... We can play now? " she asked with wide eyes.
Neil couldn't resist those eyes. he heaved a loud sigh and whispered an " ok ". but before he could say anything else sam jumped up, tapped him and yelled " Tag! your it " and ran away laughing.
He chuckled and chased after her. They both had fun until the night started to creep in.
