Chapter 54: The Three Legendary Sannin Gather
"You're so childish," Hoshikawa thought, with a look of helplessness.
But when he subconsciously looked up, he couldn't see Tsunade's face.
A swaying shadow enveloped him.
"Do you understand now?" Tsunade stopped, looked at him, and asked.
"I do," Hoshikawa said, admitting defeat. "Teacher, I'll help you take off your shoes."
"That's more like it," Tsunade let go of him.
Hoshikawa had survived the pincer attack of her sensual thighs.
But before he could catch his breath, Tsunade lifted her foot and put her jade-like foot in front of him.
Hoshikawa reached out and touched her instep and ankle, which were delicate and smooth.
He unbuckled the strap and took off her high-heeled sandals, completely exposing her fair, jade-like foot to the air.
Perhaps because she was not used to being touched, her five toes curled up slightly.
Tsunade switched to her right foot.
Hoshikawa continued to take off her high heels and, in the end, grabbed the bottom of her foot a couple of times.
"Brat!" Tsunade's body trembled, and she stepped on him in annoyance.
Hoshikawa subconsciously blocked it with his hands and took two steps back.
He turned and ran, saying, "I'm going to cook!"
Tsunade clenched her fist but ultimately didn't pull him back.
She leaned back on the sofa again, crossed her legs, and placed them on the coffee table. "I'll deal with you later," she said.
After dinner, Hoshikawa continued to climb the tree, and he found out how terrifying a woman who held a grudge could be.
Normally, Tsunade would throw two or four kunai. Today, she threw a handful of them randomly.
Hoshikawa was angry but didn't dare to say anything.
"Come here," Tsunade said, looking at the sky and stopping.
Hoshikawa limped to her.
"Are you going to do it again next time?" Tsunade reached out, and a faint green chakra surged out.
"Do what?" Hoshikawa blinked and asked.
"What do you think?" Tsunade said, pinching his face after the healing was done. "Remember to come early tomorrow."
"Okay," Hoshikawa nodded. "Goodbye, Teacher."
The moon rose and fell, and a new day began.
Hoshikawa woke up particularly early because of Tsunade's reminder the night before, but when he arrived at her house, he found that she was still fast asleep.
So unreliable.
Hoshikawa's mouth twitched, and he raised his hand and began to knock on the door.
"Do you want to die?" Tsunade's voice rang out.
The door was pulled open.
Tsunade, with her hair standing on end like a cat, appeared.
"You told me to come early," Hoshikawa said, looking up, only to see her pajamas stretched to their limit.
Tsunade was stunned for a moment, feeling a little embarrassed, but her expression remained unchanged.
She went back to her room and changed her clothes.
After breakfast, the two of them walked onto the street.
"Where are we going?" Hoshikawa couldn't help but ask, curious.
"To the Yamanaka clan's flower shop," Tsunade replied.
Hoshikawa instinctively looked at her.
Her expression was different from before. It was very serious, and he could faintly see a hint of sadness.
What's going on?
Hoshikawa hesitated for a moment but didn't ask.
Soon, they arrived at the Yamanaka clan's flower shop.
This was run by Ino Yamanaka's parents.
Although she hadn't been born yet.
Tsunade bought two bouquets of chrysanthemums and gave one to Hoshikawa.
White chrysanthemums symbolized mourning.
Hoshikawa understood where Tsunade was going.
The Konoha Memorial Stone.
This was where all the fallen ninja were buried, a kind of public cemetery.
Hoshikawa followed Tsunade in silence.
Suddenly, he noticed a black figure not far away.
The figure was thin, with long black hair and earrings.
But he should be a man.
"Tsunade, long time no see," the black figure said, turning around when he heard their footsteps.
Hoshikawa blinked.
A phrase flashed through his mind: How can you assume my gender?
This was Orochimaru.
His effeminate and handsome face and demeanor were too obvious.
"Hoshikawa?" Orochimaru looked at Hoshikawa, subconsciously licking his lips. "I've heard of you."
"Orochimaru," Tsunade said, patting Hoshikawa's head.
"Lord Orochimaru," Hoshikawa said politely.
Orochimaru's gaze made him feel very uncomfortable, but it was fine for now since he hadn't defected from the village yet and was not that dangerous.
Coupled with Tsunade's protection, there were no problems.
"You seem to value him highly," Orochimaru's eyes narrowed slightly. "This is the first time I've seen you bring an outsider here to pay respects."
"He's my student. He's not an outsider," Tsunade said in a deep voice.
A hint of surprise flashed across Orochimaru's face.
Was she serious?
He thought Tsunade was just bored and had taken on a student for fun.
Orochimaru glanced at Nawaki's tombstone, sighed inwardly, and moved aside.
He once had a student like that too.
Unfortunately, human life was so fragile.
He would no longer be a human!
Orochimaru watched Tsunade and Hoshikawa place the flowers, his thoughts drifting.
"What have you been up to lately?" Tsunade turned to him and asked.
"The old man had me join the Anbu Root," Orochimaru replied.
"The Anbu Root?" Tsunade frowned. "He didn't deal with Danzō and instead sent you there?"
"It's nothing," Orochimaru said nonchalantly. "The Anbu Root is not bad."
"Danzō is no good," Tsunade said with disgust.
"He can't do anything to me," Orochimaru said calmly.
"Tsunade-wa!" Just then, a figure came running.
"Tsk," Orochimaru chuckled softly.
Tsunade raised her hand expressionlessly, then clenched her fist.
"Wait!" Jiraiya quickly stopped and said, "Don't hit me, don't hit me!"
"You're late, Jiraiya," Orochimaru said, looking at him.
"I was a little delayed," Jiraiya said with an awkward laugh.
"You smell like a woman's perfume," Orochimaru said, sniffing, with an ulterior motive.
Jiraiya's smile froze, and he glared at him fiercely.
You dead snake, I'll kill you!
Orochimaru wasn't afraid at all and stared back at him.
"I'll pay my respects first!" Jiraiya quickly said.
Tsunade snorted coldly, took Hoshikawa's hand, and distanced herself from him.
Jiraiya immediately let out a sigh of relief, but when he saw the two of them holding hands, he gnashed his teeth.
He had never even held her hand, but this little brat had beaten him to it.
Whatever, why was he competing with a little kid?
Jiraiya walked forward and placed the white chrysanthemums.
He looked at Nawaki's tombstone and fell into silence.
Ever since he died, Tsunade and Orochimaru were no longer the same Tsunade and Orochimaru as before.
Especially Orochimaru.
He felt like he was drifting further and further away.
"Since we're all together, I'll treat you guys to barbecue. How about it?" Jiraiya turned around and asked Tsunade and Orochimaru with a smile.
"I'm not going," Tsunade said, glancing at Hoshikawa. "I have things to do."
"What could be more important than the Three Sannin reuniting?" Jiraiya asked in return.
"Don't mention 'Sannin'," Orochimaru said with a frown.
The Three Legendary Sannin were named by Hanzo, the leader of Amegakure, the Village Hidden by Rain.
It sounded impressive, but it was actually a humiliation.
Because the three of them had lost to Hanzo.
"I can go," Tsunade's eyes darted around. "But you have to lend me some money."
"Fine," Jiraiya said, nodding in pain.
Lending money to Tsunade was pretty much the same as giving it away.
