Johnson's eyes widened slightly.
"So her powers are basically destroying her brain?"
"In simple terms: yes."
Rose laughed weakly despite the blood on her lips.
"Well... that sounds dramatic."
"Rose, this is serious," Johnson said softly.
She looked away again.
"I know."
For a moment, the room became silent.
Then Johnson suddenly spoke.
"Jake... what about REVIDE?"
The Time Bond pulsed once.
"Explain your request."
"If I rewind her body by one day, would it restore her brain before the overload started?"
Jake remained silent for a brief second.
"In theory: yes," he finally answered. "However, reversing the state of a human body through temporal reconstruction carries severe risks."
Johnson's expression hardened.
"What kind of risks?"
"If her body is rewound while her current memories remain unstable, the conflict between two sets of neural states may cause adverse physical or psychological effects. Memory fragmentation, identity instability, cognitive collapse, or temporal confusion are all possible outcomes."
Rose wiped the blood from her mouth and sighed.
"So basically my brain gets scrambled."
"There is a probability of that occurring," Jake confirmed.
Johnson hesitated.
"But if she keeps her memories from both days... then it could work, right?"
Jake paused again.
"Yes. If her consciousness successfully retains continuity between both temporal states, then the reconstruction process may stabilize her damaged neural pathways instead of erasing them."
Rose slowly looked toward Johnson.
"Then do it."
Johnson blinked.
"What?"
"You heard me," Rose said quietly. "Use REVIDE on me. I am not losing my memories that easily."
Jake's voice immediately interrupted.
"I strongly advise against this action."
Johnson frowned.
"Why?"
"Each use of REVIDE places extreme strain on your temporal core," Jake explained. "Repeated activation directly reduces your lifespan."
"I don't care please save my sister she's very special to me...." Johnson said as Rose turned, looking away flustered.
Without another word, Johnson stepped closer and gently stretched his palm toward Rose's forehead.
His fingertips slowly began to glow with soft rainbow colored light as temporal energy gathered around his hand, releasing it to her brain.
"So.... ready to talk?" Johnson asked, folding his arms and looking at Rose as she stood up.
"You What??!!" Johnson asked, shouting as his mouth disappeared. "mmmm mmm what are you doing?" Johnson said in his head as he screamed at Rose, who releases his mouth.
"Shut the fuck up Johnny?" Rose said telepathically as she seals his lips with her fingers.
"I thought you wouldn't save anybody? so why?"
"i don't know pity I guess it'd be sad if their family found them sad" Rose shrugged.
"so that djinn guy kicked you out of his mental space and attacked you too then instead of resting you went and did a city wide teleportation leaving people not affected by the blast?" am I right? Johnson asked, looking at Rose as she nodded.
"Yh you should have come saved me" she pouts as Mary and Angela emerge from the living room.
"You did well my sister" Johnson complimented, patting her head as Mary chuckles with her phone recording the moment of Johnson patting her head.
"Ouu tis gonna hit the family album cos it's so legendary" Mary teased.
"cut it out...cut it out hahahaha" Rose ran toward her.
"why did you call it legendary" Johnson asked.
"Well cos it's rare to see you both get along im impressed" Mary said to Johnson and Rose.
"Well ... what are siblings for...." Rose said, squeezing her brother into a close hug. "he is the best brother ever" she said, breaking his back.
"ouch ouch ouch!!!" what for?
"For punching my face and eating my ice cream from the fridge last night"
"I was hungry....." she breaks another of his spine. "ouch ouch" I'm sorry I'm sorry.
"Fine" Rose said, smiling brightly to Mary.
"For some reason I feel rather creeped out" Angela said as she approached Johnson.
"Don't you have your suit?" she asked him as Johnson shrugged. "My suit is within me"
"Ohh yh I almost forgot you showed me" Angela sighed.
"Well folks let's go we got people to save" the group said as they go outside the building as the sunlight gleams on their clothes.
