The years had honed Adam's skills to a razor-sharp edge. He was a master of his craft, a ghost in the machine. He was infiltrating the facility of Agent Holt, a high-ranking HYDRA commander.

"Plot? I'll sneak it out. I'm a human USB stick," Adam said, a playful smirk on his face. He created a fake raid alert, and a panicked Holt dove behind his desk, screaming, "You're done, SHIELD scum!"
"Done? I'm invisible, Holt! You can't see me!" Adam said, a quiet laugh in his voice.
"Careful, Cruz," Natasha warned.
"Careful? I'm epic, Romanoff! Always have been," Adam replied, a confident smirk on his face.
"Holt's big, but I'm bigger. He has no idea what's coming," Adam thought, his eyes fixed on the data he needed to steal.
[City Streets, Morning – Simulation, Age 45, Year 28]
[In the twenty-eighth year, you sabotage Holt's operations, mastering Enhanced Stealth Tactics. SHIELD offers you a leadership role.]
Adam's work against Holt was legendary. He was at the peak of his skills.
[PROGRESS: ENHANCED STEALTH TACTICS AT 90%.]
"90%? I'm a stealth queen! No one's better than me," Adam said, his voice laced with pride. Natasha offered him a promotion.
"Join SHIELD's leadership, Cruz. You're a natural leader," she said.
"Nah, I'm a street shadow, Romanoff. The streets are my home, not some stuffy office," Adam said, turning down the offer.
"You're wasting your potential," an agent said.
"Wasting? I'm rewriting the book on stealth! I'm a trailblazer!" Adam replied, a small plasma spark from his hand making a HYDRA radio play a jingle.
"Leadership is boring. The streets are where the action is. I'm going to own this city," Adam thought, a determined look on his face.
[HYDRA Stronghold, Afternoon – Simulation, Age 50, Year 33]
[In the thirty-third year, Holt retaliates, targeting civilians. You save them, facing a choice: kill or arrest Holt.]
Holt, enraged, targeted a group of civilians. Adam, a silent, unseen guardian, arrived just in time. The System presented him with a choice.
[CHOICE: KILL OR ARREST HOLT.]
"Arrest. Heroes don't kill," Adam said, a cold sense of justice settling in his gut.
"You can't stop me!" Holt screamed.
"Watch me!" Adam replied, his eyes burning with resolve. A small plasma spark from his hand made Holt's car honk wildly.
"Good call, Cruz," Natasha said, her voice filled with respect.
"Good? I'm legendary, Romanoff!" Adam said, a triumphant grin on his face.
"Thank you!" a civilian said.
"All in a shadow's work!" Adam replied, his pride swelling.
"Arresting him is the right thing to do. I'm a hero, not a murderer," Adam thought, his heart pounding in his chest.
[Final Showdown, Evening – Simulation, Age 55, Year 38]
[In the thirty-eighth year, you arrest Holt, but he triggers a trap. You die at age 55, saving civilians.]
Adam stood triumphant over Holt. He had won. But a hidden trap was triggered. The world exploded in a silent, blinding flash of light. Adam felt his life drain away, but he was at peace.
[SIMULATION ENDS. REWARDS: ENHANCED STEALTH TACTICS, SHIELD COMMUNICATOR, COVERT INSIGHT.]
"Died? Worth it for the save! I'm coming back with new skills, you losers!" Adam yelled, even as his consciousness faded.
"You lose, Cruz!" Holt screamed.
"Lose? I'm sneaking out, Holt! I'm never gone!" Adam replied.
"You're a hero, Cruz," Natasha said, a rare tear in her eye.
[CHOOSE REWARD.]
"Enhanced Stealth Tactics. Let's sneak," Adam said, his voice a low hum. The sensation of his body reforming, of his mind returning to his own form, was a welcome relief.
"Enhanced Stealth Tactics. I'm going to be a ghost in the city. A shiny, glowing, sarcastic ghost. This is going to be so much fun," Adam thought, a wild grin on his face as he felt himself return to the real world.
