Chapter 126 - 《DXD: Infinite Loot System》Chapter 126: The Girls’ Battle (Part 1)

Thud.

Valper Galilei's body hit the ground, riddled with thousands of tiny holes—silent testament to Tosca's vengeance.

"Tosca."

Tenra stepped toward her, finding her frozen, tears streaming down her face.

"Lord Tenra…"

She turned, voice trembling.

"If you need to cry, cry. You've avenged your friends."

Tenra brushed away her tears with gentle fingers.

The dam broke. Tosca clung to him, sobbing—years of grief and rage finally, mercifully, released.

"You don't have to carry that weight anymore. From now on, live for me."

"Mm!"

Still shaking, Tosca felt something inside her shift—like she'd been reborn. The chains of hatred had shattered. Now, she would live for him: her king, her master, her god.

"What a moving little revenge. Hahahaha…"

Kokabiel's throne dissolved beneath him as he hovered overhead, laughing with cruel delight. Freed's death, Valper's execution—none of it touched him. To this fallen angel, it was just a sideshow.

Now that the clowns had finished their act, it was time for the real show.

Tosca shot Kokabiel a cold look, wiped her tears, and rose into the air to rejoin her sisters, magic circle glowing beneath her feet. Let him laugh—his turn would come.

"Tenra, Kokabiel used the energy from the holy sword fusion to cast a land-destruction spell. In fifteen minutes, the school and the entire town will be wiped out."

Rias's voice was grave.

"Fifteen minutes…"

Tenra's eyes narrowed, but his composure returned instantly.

"Rias, President Sona—the first ten minutes are yours. If you can't beat Kokabiel, I'll handle him in the last five."

"Understood!"

No hesitation. Rias and Sona accepted the challenge—Kokabiel was the strongest enemy they'd ever faced, but pride and adrenaline burned away their fear.

A fallen angel cadre? They would take him down.

Time was short. Rias and Sona led their teams forward. Irina and Xenovia exchanged a glance, gripping their holy swords and falling in step.

"Let's go. Time to bring down Lord Kokabiel."

Raynare licked her lips, black fire flickering across her skin.

Mittelt and Kalawarner hesitated, nerves jangling. In the past, they'd never dare defy Kokabiel. But now? With this crew of lunatics, there was no turning back. Survival meant joining the madness.

Resolve flashed in their eyes. They followed Raynare into the fray.

"Asia, are you scared?"

Even Gasper, trembling, joined the charge. Only Asia stayed behind, hands clasped—healer, anchor, hope. Tenra smiled at her.

"As long as I'm with you and everyone else, I don't fear any darkness."

Asia shook her head, praying earnestly for her friends.

Tenra's smile softened as he stroked her forehead. She might not fight, but her courage was unmatched.

"Partner, that guy fought gods and demon lords and survived. Even if all the princess's group attacks together, they might not win."

Ddraig's voice echoed from Tenra's hand, a glimmer of red light pulsing.

"It's fine. Even if they're outmatched, I'll finish things."

"Enemies like this are rare—let Rias and the others get some practice."

Tenra's reply was light, unconcerned.

"Heh… I see."

Ddraig chuckled, understanding Tenra's intent.

"Ddraig, go help Rias."

Tenra had shared his Sacred Gear's power, but Ddraig's soul was unique—usually residing in Tenra, but able to transfer at will. With Ddraig at her side, Rias could truly unleash her potential.

"Understood."

A flash—and Ddraig was gone, now with Rias.

"Hey, hey—holy sword users, devils, fallen angels. You guys make a weird team."

Kokabiel hovered above, smirking. "Just you lot against me? Where's that Phoenix brat?"

Rias glared up, cold and resolute. "We're more than enough."

She summoned the power Tenra had shared—Red Dragon Emperor's strength.

"Boost!"

Destructive energy exploded outward. Crimson armor snapped into place, gleaming and fierce.

Xenovia and Irina stared, stunned. Even Sona and her team, already in the know, looked impressed.

"Ddraig?"

Rias felt her power surge—stronger than ever.

"Hahaha… Little princess, partner sent me to help. Let's do this."

Ddraig's voice rang from the jewel in her armor.

"Glad to have you, Ddraig!"

Confidence blazed in Rias's eyes—her team's chances had just skyrocketed.

"Wasn't the Boosted Gear with the Phoenix kid? Why do you have its power, Rias Gremory?"

Kokabiel's expression soured, brow furrowed. Ancient grudges bubbled up—he'd always despised the Two Heavenly Dragons and the Sacred Gears that housed them.

"I don't owe you an answer, Kokabiel!"

Rias's voice was ice.

"Sona, Akeno—everyone, let's go!"

Beautiful and cold, Rias was already moving. Twin spheres of red destruction crackled in her hands, morphing into roaring beasts as she hurled them at Kokabiel.

ROAR! ROAR! ROAR! BOOM!

The battle had begun.
