Chapter 2 - Hayato

Immediately after, Saburo suddenly felt the pressure in the room rise, it was almost as though there was some invisible hand pressing down on him.

"Masanori-sama, please watch what you say?" an elder at the other end of the table said

Saburo could barely see his face but he remembered the man, he was the most unique one amongst them all here, he wore mostly white robes but his eyes was the unique thing.

It was one of the famous dojutsus of Konoha, the Bykugan. An eye exclusive to the Hyuga clan and is said to be on par with the Uchiha's Sharingan.

Seeing his reaction, it was clear that the person being referred to was him

"That is enough, I simply came to ensure that his accommodation is arranged properly… A Daimyo can't be away from his post for too long after all"

"We shall see to it that Miya-sama gets a proper place to rest" Sandiame-Sama said as he turned to him.

Saburo merely bowed slightly as though to thank him but still remained standing by his father. His legs already hurt now but at least it was better than the seiza position.

"Okay then, I shall leave it to you," his father said but even as he stood up, his eyes were trained on the Elder, Lady Reika.

Seeing the exchange at play, Saburo immediately understood what was at play. It would seem like his school life wouldn't be as simple as he expected.

Saburo bowed to the group that were bowing to his father before immediately following his father out of the room.

As soon as they crossed the door, three new people joined the entourage. Each one carried with them a weapon in their hand, two of them stood between himself and his father.

They were the Daimyo's guards and their primary directive was to ensure his safety. The last person though could be seen standing behind him, his own personal guardians.

In this world, Samurai wasn't really a status like he expected it to be. It was something that he was thankful for as he would have probably lost his head multiple times when he was younger.

The samurai he knew of were like the European knight, people that were both nobles and warriors but here, it was a discipline and a type of warrior.

"Hayato!" His father called out as the entourage halted

"My lord!!" the guard behind answered before somehow appearing before his father.

One knee to the ground as he bowed, even after he was done, his head remained on facing down, his two hands clasped before him.

"I would be handing my son over to you, ensure his safety even as he trains within the academy, this is no place to bury a son of the Kisiragi" the Daimyo said as he placed his hand on Hayato's shoulders

With the gesture, the eyes of every single person in the area went wide. Guards were meant to stand at least two feet away from the Daimyo.

His children can only stay five feet away from him, breaching the space around was considered sacrilege and yet, the Daimyo had chosen to break it on his own.

They all knew what this meant even not a single word was spoken as they all turned to him.

Seeing the gazed on him both from the hokage and the elders behind, Saburo immediately know that this was really becoming

"I shall protect the prince with my life" Hayato said as his bow got even deeper

Seeing this, Daimyo smiled and nodded before walking away, as soon as they stepped out of the building, Saburo could see the children who were running around.

When they had come, they were all in their classes but now seeing the number of children who were busy discussing and playing, Saburo smiled, it reminded him of his own years in school.

"Ue-sama!!" Several of the children who were older greeted with their heads bowed as they passed.
