In a slightly dilapidated yellow room, a man with red hair spoke out
"Sasori, this is your little brother Sora, treat him well son.
"Doesn't he look just like your mother!"
Sasori who was 5 years old, was glaring at his new brother with curiosity.
Meanwhile his little baby brother was reeling in shock from what he just heard.
Sasori of the Red sand!? My older brother!? Did I seriously just get reincarnated into the Naruto Universe!!
I was just sleeping watching anime and all of a sudden I woke up reincarnated as a baby, furthermore one who's Sasoris little brother that shouldn't even exist !
Whilst I was making babbling noises involuntary due to shock, my new mother mistook me as being in discomfort and was rocking me up and down
"There , There Sora"
I feel conflicted about developing personal ties to them, since I know they're destined to die to the hands of The White Fang of the leaf.
I'm presuming the second ninja war will break out soon and I will be left orphaned .
Not only that, I have a sociopathic brother who loves turning humans into puppets
Now I have to try and survive not only through the 3rd ninja war, not get implicated in the Konoha collapse plan, 4th ninja war or even against my own brother.
Moreover, the next Kazekage Rasa is also a scheming bastard, whether it's attempting to assassinate Gaara or plotting to kill the hero of the sand village for a truce between him and Kirigakure.
I definitely shouldn't try and stand out even with the protection of the Chiyo.
What have I done to deserve being born at this era of Naruto…

"Sasori take care of your little brother okay your mother and I have a duty to protect the village"
"Sasori me and your father love you okay, We'll come back soon make sure Sora doesn't get lonely"
Damn…
I knew this day would come but I can't help but feel heart wrenched.
After all they have been raising me for thr past year.
The second ninja war begun and my parents are heading off to their deaths leaving me and Sasori alone.
Fortunately, you could say I'm considered royalty since I'm the grandson and grand-nephew of the esteemed elders of Sunagakure, otherwise I wouldn't have had people to feed and clean me in this poverty stricken dusty village.
This past year has just been torture being unable to do anything other than eat sleep and repeat.
However that has left me with a lot of time to figure out a plan to survive this dangerous world.
The plan is to be a puppet maker and not a shinobi!
Having Sasori as a brother also helps if I can just learn how to make puppets like him, well barring the human ones, I can see a future where I survive these next few war torn years.
And recently I have been blessed to have discovered the standard reincarnation cheat (or golden finger as the Chinese novels would like to call it)

From what I can remember, Kurama explained baryon mode was similar to nuclear fusion of course with chakra substituted as the fuel source, it can also drain the opponents life force with contact.
So If this is the Baryon fusion I remember I can definitely survive these next few years!
And possibly an extremely powerful and abundant energy source for my puppets.

I've turned 4 now and the second ninja war has ended.
As expected, my parents had succumbed to the hands of Sakumo Hatake.
Of course Chiyo hadn't told us, she was always giving false hope to Sasori every time he enquired as to where they went, of course whilst I was still a baby
But she had already realised that Sasori was perceptive enough to figure it out on his own,when she peeked on him trying to embrace his puppet parents
I bare an uncanny resemblance to my mothers face and also have my fathers red hair, so Sasori was always fond of me but from my memory Sasoris deep rooted psychological issues stemmed from lack of love early in childhood in part due to Chiyo negligence.
But my connection to him however, has made him slightly brighter then if I hadn't existed I presume. However, he still has those soulless eyes
Nevertheless,Sasori is still far removed from the heartless Akatsuki member from the anime.

In the dimly lit sandstone workshop
"Big Brother, Can you please teach me how to make puppets, Granny Chiyo taught you first now it's my turn please"
"Sora, I already told you to let me focus, you're not old enough to be handling these poisons and sharp objects"
I'm literally 15 years older than this kid mentally and I have to resort to this childish begging tactic in hopes of progressing my ability.
Since I'm not allowed to make puppets yet.I came up with a loop hole to try and progress my ability
"Please brother at least let me put one part on, otherwise I'm going to tell granny Chiyo you're using her poisons"
"Sigh fine, it's not like she'll come anyways, after this stop pestering me I'm trying to make a new puppet design named Salamander ",He said whilst looking at me with his dead eyes.
Seizing the opportunity I attach on a missing wooden finger to the hand of the puppet
And then I proceeded to watch him finish constructing the puppet

Sasori finished building all his puppets with me pestering him the whole time to add one piece to the puppets
"Why have you been here the whole time?"
"I just enjoy building puppets with you brother!" I tried saying with a smile
At my words, Sasori showed a glint of happiness in his eyes and then a faint smile but he quickly turned away.
Well I don't really like building puppets with him I just want to survive in this world
And looking at my progress I'm getting closer

Well, I guess I should continue my secret physical training.
In my room are basic scrolls I stole from my parents on chakra extraction and Sunagakure secret chakra thread method.
I don't know how it's a secret ,since it's quite self explanatory, but it requires fine chakra control.
I know chakra is the 50/50 combination of physical energy and spiritual energy.
So forming a ram hand seal I begin to extract my measly chakra.
"Whew.. I'm exhausted", I can't extract any more chakra without feeling like bursting.
Now I have to practice my chakra control by walking on the wall
Directing chakra to my feet I step on the wall and…
Thud!
I fell to the floor, this was a lot harder than it looked like in the anime.
I kept this up for another hour until all my chakra was exhausted
'I only managed 2 steps after an hour'
However, if I keep this up I should manage become capable of climbing the wall very soon.

The next day I woke up feeling very sore and fatigued as I had done a lot of training that was followed up with a light jog around the village on the same day.
Half of my chakra comes from the physical aspect of my body, so while I won't gain super-physiological capabilities like the Uzumakis or Senjus. I definitely can build up a solid base for the future.
Knock knock knock…
"Little Sora, it's your grandmother", Chiyo said in a solemn tone as she opened the door to the room
She visits every week to tell me about my parents or put me to sleep, probably out of guilt and to stop me from being too lonely and pessimistic like my older brother.
I guess the scene where Sasori was being embraced by the puppets he made, hit her hard and she didn't want me to end up like him.
Well… she still neglects us and is in her study the majority of the time.
"Granny can you teach me how to make puppets like older brother"
"Is that what you want Sora?", she said with a wry smile
"Yes!, yes!"
It hurts me to act like this, but anything to get stronger :'(
"Ok, I'll give you mini wooden puppet sets to work on okay?"
"But promise to not end up like Sasori being in the work shop all day, go outside to the park and make some friends"
"I promise!"
And with that, she came back with a box of mini wooden doll parts with the joints being plug fitted.
I'm assuming this is meant for training early puppet makers.
Fortunately, there seems to be the perfect amount needed to complete my task

After a while of fiddling around, I managed to make 4 mini puppets/dolls, however I can't operate them yet since I still haven't mastered the chakra thread method.

Seriously!
Only 0.1 percent increase, does the increment it increases by depend on my contribution and or quality of puppet?
Although as soon as I completed it, I felt an uncanny familiarity with the final puppet in my hand and I found myself having knowledge I didn't have before.
I also felt that my chakra control increased, probably because the baryon fusion reactor requires extremely precise chakra control to operate.
So I tried to create chakra threads with my hands and it worked!
I was able to move the puppets, albeit with rather sloppy movements.
I guess the knowledge I gained, worked like cheating on an exam, you don't understand the content but you know the solution to the problems.
That's good since I'm not smart enough to just use the knowledge alone.
Also the Baryon fusion reactor knowledge must be intertwined with making puppets, hence why I also gained an increase in puppet making knowledge even though it seems it's not related.
This is a relief, at least I can become a good puppet master even without reaching the 100% mark.
Chiyo had already left and went back to her daily routine. but since I promised her to go outside and in celebration of my efforts, I might as well.
Walking against the dusty wind and the paved sandstone paths lined with hemispherical beige houses I reached the park .
Instead of playing with the other kids though, I just started training doing push up and squats and using the bars for pull ups.
"What is that weird kid doing?" A concerned parent whispered to herself
Then suddenly, I hear a bratty voice call out
"Hey! What are you doing here!"
It was a young girl with green hair and orange bangs she seemed about 4 years older than me.
"I'm training what else?!, stop disturbing me!"
"I'm not in the mood to play with a little brat right now!"
What I need to focus on is getting stronger, so I tried to scare her away but it backfired
"W-What did you just say to me!"
"I said leave me alone!"
Woosh!
A fist came flying at me
I quickly dodged
"What the hell are you doing!"
"I'm training too!"
She then launched a barrage of kicks and punches at me, I managed to block most but I was still taking a beating due to my weak composition and young body
So using the knowledge accrued today, I created tiny chakra threads that latched onto her hand and legs, made her punch herself and then trip on her own feet
Thud!
She fell face flat on the floor.
"Haha!" I involuntarily snickered but quickly covered my mouth afterwards
Then breaking the awkward tension steam began rising around her and a mini fireball started swirling in the air
"Shit.."
No way..
This is Pakura the future hero of the hidden sand and has the scorch release Kekkei Genkai
How did I not realise earlier!?
Obviously I'm not strong enough to fight someone like her, and why is she using her scorch release on a little child in the first place.
What a nasty attitude!
Knowing this information I couldn't just wait there and get seared to death.
So I ran away…
"Y-You how dare you!" Slowly picking herself up, she muttered
A visibly bright red flustered Pakura got up,stomped and screamed in the distance
"I'll get my revenge!"
