The rift closed behind Azrynn with a hiss like boiling metal. She landed on jagged obsidian spires, a planet shredded by war, its sky torn with purple lightning and floating debris.
"Ah," she muttered, brushing dust from her coat. "Just another Tuesday in the multiverse." Her voice carried a sardonic lilt, each word sharp as the edge of her dragons' claws. "Really hope the locals have cookies. Or, you know, don't try to eat me alive first."
Fire, Ice, Storm, Shadow, and Light stirred at her call, their scales glinting in the fractured sunlight. Even the dragons seemed to appreciate her sarcasm, coiling and flaring like they were smirking.
The Fractured Star Arena
From the sky, a horde descended — witches riding shards of crystal that hummed with arcane energy, warlocks dangling from teleportation sigils, and something she hadn't expected: a golden-eyed fox, humanoid in form, wearing a cloak stitched with living shadows.
"Finally," Azrynn said with a lazy grin, hands on her hips. "Visitors. I was getting bored of talking to myself and these five oversized lizards."
The fox landed elegantly, tail flicking like a whip. "Azrynn," it said, voice silky, "I've been waiting. You've made quite the name for yourself."
"Flattery from a fox. Original." Azrynn's eyes gleamed. "Do you come bearing gifts, or just another attempt at my inevitable demise?"
The fox chuckled, shadowy tails curling. "Both, perhaps. I represent a… coalition of sorts. We need your skills."
Azrynn raised an eyebrow. "You're going to need to try harder than fancy introductions to sell me. I don't work for free. Or for your sanity, apparently."
Battle and Leveling
Negotiations ended predictably. Witches struck first, launching shards and spells like deadly fireworks. Azrynn sighed theatrically. "Oh, good. They brought glitter. My favorite."
She summoned her dragons, each elemental bursting from her mana. Fire licked the shattered spires, Ice froze the flying shards mid-air, Storm lightning tore through enemy ranks, Shadow swallowed the smallest fighters, and Light seared their magic shields.
Level one to level five, all dragons permanently stronger. Each attack precise, calculated. Azrynn mocked their timing, her voice echoing: "Really? That's your combo? Cute. Try again."
The fox-figure dodged elegantly, claws glinting. "You're as witty as you are dangerous," it said.
"Dangerous enough to survive this conversation," Azrynn replied, twirling a shard of ice between her fingers and melting it with a snap of fire. "Come on. Impress me."
Strategy and Sarcasm
The battle stretched across the fractured city. Azrynn's wit was her weapon almost as much as her dragons. She taunted, baited, and misled her enemies, turning spells back on themselves, reading the battlefield like a player analyzing an MMORPG raid.
"Seriously," she said, vaulting across a floating shard and dodging a fireball, "did anyone teach you basic cooldown management? It's almost sad."
Her dragons responded instantly, moving with synchronicity only possible because of their bond with her. Every kill leveled them further, their scales shimmering like living armor. Level six.
The fox finally stopped dodging. "You're remarkable," it said, almost in awe. "Your mastery of all five elements… it's unlike anything I've seen."
Azrynn smirked, brushing ash from her coat. "I told you. Only one like me in a billion galaxies. Don't get used to it."
Aftermath and Foreshadowing
When the last enemy fell, Azrynn and her dragons hovered above the shattered city, wings spread, tails coiling. The fox bowed slightly, offering a scroll bound in living shadow.
"For your attention," it said. "A warning. A challenge. A chance."
Azrynn caught it midair, rolling her eyes. "Lovely. Another thing to read. My day is so full of surprises."
Opening it revealed coordinates to a galaxy rumored to contain ancient Primordials, dragons of godlike power thought extinct. Her grin was slow, wicked, and hungry.
"Looks like we're leveling up… again," she muttered. Her dragons roared in agreement. "Level seven, my pretties. Let's make the next universe regret it."
