Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Star Troopers Appear

At night, everyone was discussing tomorrow's actions.

"Going to space? Our aircraft doesn't have that ability," Nick Fury said.

"I'll take care of it." Thor asked for Nick Fury's cell phone and made a call. A few minutes later, a beam of dazzling light shone in the courtyard of Maria Rambeau's house, and a mighty spaceship descended through the Bifrost.

"Wow!" Monica exclaimed. "What a beautiful spaceship!"

Thor waved his hand generously. "After the task is completed, it will be yours." He had just contacted Odin. Although Asgard looked like a medieval kingdom, in truth its technology was extremely advanced—5G had been covered thousands of years earlier. Just now, Thor requested a small spaceship and, at the same time, asked Odin to cast a curse on Mjolnir from afar. He had a plan for tomorrow, but he didn't want the hammer to be taken away by the Kree.

"Really? Thank you!" Monica's impression of this old man improved immediately. At dinner, however, Thor had eaten enough for a dozen people and emptied her refrigerator—Monica's face had turned green at the time...

In the early morning, Yon-Rogg stood over the corpse of the Skrull who had been disguised as Carol, his face dark with rage. He activated his communicator and said in a deep voice:

"The Skrulls have infiltrated Planet C-35. Deploy reinforcements immediately."

At the same time, Thor and his team entered Dr. Lawson's laboratory.

"Is this the Tesseract?" Thor saw the glowing energy core—the Tesseract itself, containing the Space Stone. Because of this very artifact, Asgard would one day be attacked by Thanos. Thor clenched his fists; today's mission had become even more important.

The Skrulls hiding in the shadows stepped out one by one, including Talos' wife and daughter, who embraced him tightly.

"We didn't know what to do. Mar-Vell warned us not to send a message under any circumstances, or the Kree would find us."

"You're right," Talos replied.

Watching the warm reunion, Carol's eyes stung with emotion. Seeing the female Skrulls' fear of her, she stepped forward and said softly, "I won't hurt you."

"I'm sorry... I didn't know before."

"Carol, this is war," Talos comforted her. "My hands are dirty too. But now, you've brought me here and reunited me with my family." He bowed his head in silence, expressing his gratitude.

After a while, he continued: "This is just the beginning. Thousands of our people are still scattered across the galaxy."

Suddenly, heavy footsteps echoed. Everyone tensed in alarm.

"Fraternizing with the enemy, are we?" Yon-Rogg entered with the Starforce soldiers.

"What happened to your team uniform?" Minn-Erva sneered. "As expected—she's been brainwashed by the enemy."

"The Supreme Intelligence will restore her to normal," Korath added.

Yon-Rogg stepped forward. "I trained you to make you stronger, to make you a better version of yourself." At that moment, Carol felt her energy vanish, replaced by a mocking voice: "What we can give you, we can also take away."

Before he could finish, a flash of lightning struck and hurled him into the air.

"Am I that easy to ignore?" Thor roared. "Come on, all of you—let me see how heavy your fists truly are!"

Pieces of shimmering scale-like armor materialized from the void, wrapping around his arms. A set of thick, black plate armor shielded his chest, making him look even more imposing.

"Drink!" With a thunderous cry, Thor raised Mjolnir high. The hammer spun rapidly, forming a black tornado storm infused with lightning and deathly power. For a moment, it was as if a god had descended upon the battlefield.

Bron-Char, the bearded warrior, charged forward with his iron fists, but was instantly caught in the storm. A deafening crack sent him flying hundreds of meters, leaving him unable to rise.

The Starforce soldiers rushed forward. Behind them, Yon-Rogg waved his hand, summoning wave after wave of Kree troops.
