Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Boss Appears

It was a behemoth larger than any spacecraft Bitol had ever seen, almost the size of a small satellite. Perhaps it was not appropriate to call it a spaceship—it should be called an interstellar fortress.

Holy Place No. 2!

For the people of Shenyu, the strength of the Kiritas was not overwhelming, although these soldiers seemed to be higher-level than ordinary Kiritas. For Thor, who had awakened his supernatural powers, no matter how many such minor soldiers appeared, he could handle them calmly.

However, it all depended on defeating the master. The key was that Thor, as the "dog owner," could not defeat the master.

Thor was frustrated—it was as if he was being sent straight into the enemy's den. He hid in a corner, thinking about how to turn the situation around. Should he call Carol and demolish Thanos' base in advance?

Thor forcibly suppressed the tempting thought. If he actually did that, the two of them would probably be forced to kneel together…

This was Thanos' base camp. Looking through the window, in the surrounding void, countless giant leviathans, star destroyers, and cruisers filled the sky, blocking the last rays of starlight.

The reason why Holy Place No. 2 in Avengers: Infinity War was so easy to dismantle was that Thanos had brought only it—without the full might of the Destroyer, and the carrier's defenses were originally limited.

Thor found a layout map and got a general sense of the fortress and fleet formation. Near a deck at the front of the fortress were a large number of fighter jets ready to take off at any moment. There were relatively few outlying escort fleets, and a jump point lay not far from the opposite side.

If he could gather a fighting force and rush to the wormhole quickly, he would have a great chance of escaping, although the front defenses of Holy Place No. 2 were the strongest.

"Ah! Don't… let me go… give me another chance…" Thor, moving quietly, suddenly heard a woman's cry.

Uh—purple sweet potato essence? He frowned. When did the Kiritas learn to rob civilian girls?

A loud gunshot rang out, followed by the sound of footsteps approaching rapidly, and then Thor saw the girl before he could even react.

Uh… were the top executives of Kirita really so perverted? This little girl looked underage at first glance.

The girl in front of him was delicate and youthful, about fourteen or fifteen years old, holding a dagger in one hand and a seized Kirita firearm in the other.

"I said I was just passing by—do you believe me?" Thor said helplessly.

The chasing soldiers hesitated for a moment, then quickly raised their guns and fired. For someone of unknown origin, they had no patience—just kill him on the spot.

"Well, I wanted to keep a low profile." With a wave of his hand, lightning erupted, instantly reducing the surrounding Leviathan soldiers to charcoal.

It had to be said: the power after awakening was perfect for pretending to be a "B." The little girl beside him widened her eyes in surprise.

A piercing siren sounded.

"If you don't want to die, just follow me." Although she was a very cute little girl, in this place, it was clearly not the time to be sympathetic. Even self-protection was difficult.

The little girl clenched her weapons and followed silently. Now that they had been exposed, there was no need to hide anymore—it was only logical to rush to the destination as quickly as possible.

Along the way, they encountered many obstacles: Kirita soldiers, vanguard guards, Saka soldiers, giant apes…

Ordinary soldiers couldn't stop the God of Thunder at full power. To Thor's surprise, the little girl beside him was very skilled, not much worse than Natalia had been a few years ago. When she killed someone, it was clear it was not her first time.

Secretly guessing the girl's identity, Thor pressed forward quickly.

The fighter jets were just a few hundred meters away, but these hundreds of meters felt like a natural moat.

Thor looked forward with a solemn expression and stopped.

Five figures of different shapes appeared ahead. The one in the lead was a burly purple humanoid, with explosive muscles and a height of nearly 2.5 meters. Holding a double-edged knife, he looked at Thor with eyes that seemed to pierce the world.

Even standing a few meters away, Thor could feel the overwhelming pressure, like a mountain collapsing. The little girl behind him was also a little breathless.

Supervillain—Destroyer… Thanos.

Thanos!
