"Hello, my name is Brock, please tell me your beautiful name!"

Seeing the young woman approach, Brock almost instantly appeared in front of her. But this time, the young woman completely ignored him and ran directly to Ash. Ash had already directed Heracross and Chikorita to catch the Hoppip.

"Hoppip, I was so worried about you!" The young woman held Hoppip in her arms, looking gratefully at Ash. "Thank you so much!"

"My name is Aya. If you don't mind, please come to my house for a visit!"

Ms. Aya lived in the nearby suburbs, where a large net was strung up in front of her red-roofed house. Clearly, this was a measure to prevent Hoppip from being blown away by strong winds. Aya's job was to forecast the weather. In addition to various anemometers on her roof and instruments inside her house, she was researching how to use Hoppip's behavior patterns to predict the weather.

Suddenly, Ash and his companions noticed seven Hoppip gathered together, intertwining the leaves on their heads. This sight made Ms. Aya's heart tighten!

"A strong wind is about to pick up!"

No sooner had she spoken than dark clouds gathered, and the various anemometers on the roof began to swing wildly!

"There's no mistake; a considerably large storm is forming, and it's heading this way!" Using her instruments, Ms. Aya quickly confirmed the Hoppips' actions!

After confirmation, Ash and his companions immediately felt their hearts race. Everyone quickly reinforced the house's windows with wooden planks, but after Aya's verification, it turned out to be a tornado, heading directly towards them. Even Aya became flustered. "I've never seen such a strong tornado!"

She let out a cry of alarm and then turned to shout at everyone, "Everyone, quickly take cover under the table!" It was clear she anticipated that her house might not be able to withstand this tornado!

Ash reacted the fastest. "Ms. Aya, quickly recall your Hoppip into their Poké Balls!" Just moments ago, they had moved the huddled Hoppip indoors. But given the current situation, if this house couldn't hold up, the Hoppip would likely be in danger! They would surely be blown away and become difficult to find.

"But, Poké Balls..."

The Poké Balls had been put away; finding them now would take too much time!

"Then there's no other way!"

Ash decided not to recall Chikorita into its Poké Ball either. He quickly embraced both Pikachu and Chikorita. Chikorita extended its Vine Whip, binding two of the Hoppip. Misty also reacted, quickly picking up one Hoppip and cradling it with Togepi in her arms, then ducking under the table. Brock, no longer concerned with demonstrating his loyalty to Ms. Aya, also gathered two Hoppip and held them close. This way, Ash and his companions took care of five Hoppip. Ms. Aya, without hesitation, embraced the remaining two Hoppip and hid under the table.

"Ash, thank you!"

No sooner had Aya spoken than the tornado mercilessly ripped off the roof. The terrifying wind force was so intense that one couldn't even think straight. It felt as if all thoughts were being swept away. Immediately after, the table couldn't withstand the tornado's power and was also blown away. Aya clutched the Hoppip in her arms tightly.

"Chikorita, everyone, just hold on a little longer!"

Here, Ash was bearing the brunt of the struggle. He held Pikachu and Chikorita, while Chikorita's Vine Whip bound two Hoppip. However, against this natural disaster, human strength was truly insignificant. After several tables were blown away, a large machine was also toppled by the wind, with Misty underneath it!

"Damn it!" Ash, holding Pikachu and Chikorita, gritted his teeth fiercely at the sight. He stood up and, bracing with his back, propped up the large machine.

"Ash!"

Ash's heroic act brought tears to Misty's eyes, but just as she tried to stand up, she was almost blown away. Ash quickly reached out and grabbed her. A blue light shimmered around him as his Aura Power surged, forming a stable protective shield. This was the first time Ash had used Aura Power to such an extent, and his recently recovered mental strength began to deplete rapidly again. His head throbbed, threatening to split open!

"Ash, you!"

Under Ash's protection, Misty didn't even feel the force of the wind! But soon, Ash's vision went black, and he was about to faint.

"Chika!"

Chikorita, who had been in his arms the whole time, looked at Ash with concern.

"It's okay, Misty, Chikorita, don't worry. Just hold on a little longer; the tornado will pass soon!" However, Ash's condition was clearly visible and very poor!

On their other side, Brock and Ms. Aya stood together. Each held two Hoppip in their arms, and by huddling together, they were able to withstand the tornado's force.

"Damn it, is this tornado targeting me?!"

Ash gritted his teeth. Why wouldn't this tornado just leave! Just as Ash was about to give out, Chikorita's entire body began to emit a dazzling light.

"What is this?"

With its evolution, Chikorita's size increased manyfold. Ash's arms could no longer hold it, so it landed on the ground. Its Vine Whip, which had been holding two Hoppip, stretched out again, knocking the machine that had fallen on Ash away, then pulling Ash and Misty to safety. Ash's Aura Power could finally be withdrawn.

Bayleef's physique was much larger than Chikorita's, allowing it to remain stable and agile within the tornado!

"This is great, Bayleef, you evolved!"

Ash was overjoyed. Chikorita had already accumulated a good amount of experience, and he had dedicated most of his energy to Chikorita during this time. Chikorita had long reached the level where it could evolve. Perhaps it enjoyed staying on Ash's shoulder, which was why it had intentionally or unintentionally suppressed its evolution. But now, to save Ash, Chikorita decided to evolve, gaining powerful strength! It wanted to fight for Ash!

At this moment, Bayleef's bond value reached 160/200.

After Bayleef evolved, it had enough strength to protect Ash and the others. After a while, the tornado left, heading into the distance.

"Ash, are you alright!" After the mental relaxation, Misty noticed Ash was struggling to stand, so she quickly helped him. Bayleef's Vine Whip was still wrapped around Ash's waist, preventing him from falling.

"Misty, Bayleef, don't worry, I'm fine!" Ash waved his hand, asking Bayleef to release him, and sat on the ground.

Ms. Aya checked the condition of the seven Hoppip. They were all fine, and seemed particularly happy. Carefree little rascals.

"Ash, thank you all so much!" The surroundings were a mess, but none of that mattered. Not a single Hoppip had been blown away. If Ash and his friends hadn't been there, Ms. Aya would likely have been in serious trouble.

Ash patted Bayleef's round head. "It's Bayleef who should be thanked. We really owe it to you!"

Bayleef: 160/200
