Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Spider-Man

It was dusk in New York, and the lights of Stark Tower had just come on.

Xiao Han landed outside Tony's private lab. His x-ray vision saw Tony busy at the workbench, the new type of reactor on his chest emitting a soft blue light.

"Is this what a billionaire's life is like?" Xiao Han's voice suddenly echoed in the lab.

Tony spun around, the tool in his hand falling to the floor.

"Damn it! Can't you just use the front door?" He patted his chest. "My heart can't take this kind of scare."

Xiao Han smiled and said, "The front door doesn't suit me."

Tony looked Xiao Han up and down, his brow furrowing. "You... look different."

Indeed, dozens of hours of Sun bathing had subtly changed Xiao Han's appearance.

A faint golden glow flowed beneath his skin, his eyes naturally emitted a Shimmer in the dark, and his entire demeanor was more inhuman.

"I went for a Sun bath," Xiao Han said casually.

Tony poured a glass of whiskey and downed it. "Let me guess, not your average Hampton's Sun bath?"

"Pretty much." Xiao Han walked over to the holographic projection. "I flew into the Sun."

Tony's glass stopped in mid-air. "You... what?"

"Literally." Xiao Han extended his hand, and a miniature ball of plasma appeared in his palm, a precise simulation of the material inside the Sun.

"Now my energy reserves are ten times what they were before."

Tony put down his glass, his expression turning serious. "I need to redesign the anti-Superman armor."

Xiao Han raised an eyebrow. "It's only been a few days, and you're already researching this kind of armor?"

"Scientist's instinct." Tony shrugged. "But now it seems I have to increase the power by several orders of magnitude."

Xiao Han laughed. "I look forward to your work. But now..."

He looked out at the New York skyline. "I feel like this city needs a little help."

Just then, the sound of Police sirens and explosions came from a distance. Xiao Han's enhanced hearing picked up the details of a bank robbery and a shootout with the Police.

"New York is always restless. Just perfect for testing my abilities." Xiao Han walked towards the floor-to-ceiling window. "Want to go take a look, Tony?"

"Wait a minute, you need to put on the right gear," Tony's voice was excited.

"Unless you want to keep saving the World in those clothes?"

Only then did Xiao Han realize that he had never had a proper battle suit.

Three seconds later, Xiao Han landed in Stark's lab.

His gaze was immediately drawn to the black armor displayed in the center.

The surface was pure matte black, with golden patterns like flowing lava. The overall design was both simple and full of power.

"Like it?" Tony spread his arms. "Dark Guardian special edition. It won't affect your abilities, but it will make you look..."

He paused. "More professional."

Xiao Han walked closer to the armor, his fingers lightly touching the surface.

The tiny materials immediately began to assemble.

The armor perfectly fit every curve of his muscles, and he could barely feel its weight.

Xiao Han stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at himself in the reflection.

The black made his already tall figure appear more imposing, the golden patterns shimmered under the light, and the absence of a faceplate left his entire face exposed, adding a dangerous charm.

"Why black?" Xiao Han asked.

Tony shrugged. "First, you're not the kind of Boy Scout who wears a red cape; second, I found out you like black; third..."

He showed a cunning smile. "It fits your temperament better: powerful, mysterious, unstoppable."

Tony looked back at his own armor. "I'm still used to making an entrance in my armor. You go first, I'll be right behind you."

Xiao Han nodded, then gently leaped, flying through the glass window into the night sky.

The glass rippled like Water as he passed through, but not a single shard broke.

Tony watched Xiao Han's retreating back and whispered to Jarvis, "Record the data, energy readings, flight mode, Biofield performance, record it all."

"Recording complete, Sir," Jarvis replied. "However, I must remind you that based on the current data analysis, the success rate of any defensive measures against Mr. Xiao Han is less than 0.0001%."

Tony showed a determined smile. "Then move the decimal point back a few places."

The front of the Third Bank in Queens was already a mess.

Peter Parker frowned slightly, his homemade Spider-Man suit was damaged in several places.

The monster in front of him had swollen to three meters tall, its muscle tissue bursting through its skin, revealing blood-red fibers.

"Dude, you really need to calm down," Peter shot a web at the other party's eyes.

"We can talk this out."

The mutant roared and tore off the web, punching Peter.

Peter quickly dodged, and the concrete wall collapsed under the heavy blow.

"Okay, looks like negotiations have broken down." Peter quickly retreated, checking his suit.

"I've only worn this suit for three days, you owe me."

The mutant grabbed a steel beam, about to throw it at Peter, when suddenly.

A black figure descended from the sky, and the steel beam turned to dust in mid-air.

As the dust settled, a tall figure hovered in the air, the black armor gleaming coldly in the Sun.

"Step back, kid," Xiao Han said, his voice low and powerful.

Peter's eyes widened. "Whoa! New guy? I'm Spider-Man, and you're..."

"Chat later." Xiao Han's gaze locked onto the mutant.

"Tony, take this kid to a safe distance."

"Alright, Dark Knight." Tony landed beside Peter.

"Let's go, pajama boy, the professionals are here."

Before Peter could react, Iron Man took him and flew to a nearby rooftop.

"Wait! That guy injected some kind of serum, his strength is still increasing!" Peter struggled. "I can help!"

Tony put him down. "Just watch, kid. Today you have the honor of witnessing true power."

Below, the mutant seemed to sense the threat, his muscles expanding further.

He grabbed a Police car and threw it with all his might at Xiao Han.

Xiao Han didn't move. The moment the Police car was about to hit his face, he gently blew a breath.

Whoosh!

The Police car instantly froze into a block of ice, then shattered into countless ice crystals.

The mutant was stunned, instinctively taking a step back.

"It's over," Xiao Han said, his voice not loud but carrying throughout the entire block.

He instantly moved in front of the mutant, so fast that even Peter's enhanced vision only saw an afterimage.

A light hand chop landed on the mutant's neck.

Crack!

The sound of bone breaking was clearly audible. The mutant's eyes rolled back, and he crashed to the ground.

The entire fight lasted no more than three seconds.

"That... that's it?" Peter's mouth hung open.

"I fought him for fifteen minutes!"

Tony patted Peter's shoulder. "Welcome to the World of top-tier power, kid."

Xiao Han examined the unconscious mutant. "This isn't natural mutation. There are signs of organized experiments."

Police sirens approached from a distance, and Peter suddenly became nervous. "Uh, I should go. There's someone else I need to pick up."

"Wait, Spider-Man," Xiao Han called out to him. "You were very brave."

Peter was stunned. "Really? I mean... thanks! Uh... what should I call you?"

"Xiao Han." The black armor gleamed in the Sun. "You can call me Xiao."

"That's so cool!" Peter jumped up excitedly. "Your power is that armor? Is it... I mean..."

Tony rolled his eyes. "Save it, kid. Now get out of here, the Police are coming."

Before Peter shot a web and swung away, he turned back and yelled, "Mr. Xiao! Your armor is so cool!"

Xiao Han watched the red and blue figure disappear between the buildings, a slight smile on his lips. "Interesting young man."

"A vigilante in pajamas," Tony said, but there was admiration in his eyes.

"But he definitely has potential. So, how does the armor feel?"

Xiao Han looked down. The black armor looked both low-key and intimidating in the Sun, perfectly fitting his temperament.

"Very good," he said curtly, then soared into the sky. "I'm going to patrol the city."

Tony watched the black figure disappear into the sky, muttering to himself, "Looks like I need to prepare more alternative materials. This guy looks cool in anything."
