Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 Super Soldier Serum

The Sun set, and night quietly crossed the sky.

Tony Stark stood before the dusty exhibition model, his fingers gently tracing the miniature buildings.

Sweat soaked his shirt, not from heat, but from excitement.

With everything else finished, he finally began to study this thing.

After Xiao Han's reminder, he was now very much looking forward to it.

"Jarvis, scan the entire model, looking for unusual structures."

A blue laser grid covered the model's surface, and a holographic projection built a three-dimensional image in the air.

Suddenly, Tony's gaze locked onto the support structure of the central pavilion; it was clearly a variant of an atomic model.

"That's it!" Tony's fingers trembled as he pulled up the periodic table, "Project the structural formula!"

A never-before-seen atomic structure appeared in the air, and Jarvis immediately analyzed, "Sir, this appears to be a stable isotope, theoretically capable of replacing palladium."

A 瘋狂 light flickered in Tony's eyes.

He grabbed tools and began disassembling the model, as focused as he was when taking apart radios as a child.

When the last piece was removed, a blueprint lay in his palm, Howard Stark's final gift to his son.

"Dad..." Tony's voice was choked, but it was quickly interrupted by the lab's alarm.

"Sir, detecting high-speed approaching target."

Before Tony could react, Xiao Han was already standing behind him.

"You found the new element."

Tony spun around abruptly, instinctively hiding the blueprint behind him, then laughed self-deprecatingly, "Hiding it from You is useless, right?"

Xiao Han's gaze fell on the blueprint, "Your father was a genius."

"Yeah, too bad he was better at leaving puzzles than spending time," Tony shook the blueprint, "But this really can solve my problem."

At three in the morning, the underground laboratory of Stark Industries was brightly lit.

Tony, wearing an oil-stained T-shirt, was debugging the particle accelerator.

Xiao Han stood nearby, occasionally offering key suggestions.

"This won't work, the proton beam will diverge," Xiao Han pointed to a certain parameter, "Increase the magnetic field strength by 12%."

Tony frowned, then adjusted, "You even understand quantum physics?"

"Just learned it an hour ago," Xiao Han replied dismissively.

As the machine roared, a beam of blue light flowed through the vacuum tube.

Tony held his breath, watching the data curve on the detector gradually stabilize.

"It worked!" He grabbed the new element, which shimmered with a triangular light, cheering like a child, "Jarvis, prepare for the transplant surgery!"

Xiao Han pressed down on his shoulder, "Not now, You are too tired."

"No no no... I..." Tony's words trailed off, because he found his feet were already off the ground; Xiao Han had simply lifted him up.

"Humans who haven't slept for 48 hours are not suitable for precision surgery," Xiao Han said with certainty, "Rest for six hours, and I guarantee everything will be ready when You wake up."

Tony wanted to protest, but suddenly felt an irresistible wave of drowsiness.

In the last moment before falling into darkness, he vaguely realized that this alien had used some kind of Biofield on him.

Six hours later

Tony Stark woke up in a blinding White light, the smell of disinfectant stinging his nostrils.

He instinctively touched his chest; his fingertips no longer felt the cold metal ring, but a brand new reactor

Emitting a purer blue light than before.

"The surgery was successful."

Tony turned his head sharply, seeing Xiao Han standing before a bioscan machine, with a 3D model of his chest cavity displayed on the holographic projection.

Surgical instruments were neatly arranged nearby, but most notably, all the equipment bore clear signs of modification.

"You... did the surgery on me?" Tony's voice was hoarse, "Here? Without a medical team?"

Xiao Han shut off the projection and walked to the bedside, "Your vital signs are stable. The new element has perfectly fused with the myocardial tissue, and the palladium poisoning symptoms have disappeared."

Tony looked down at his body; there were no surgical incisions, no suture marks, as if he had never undergone open-heart surgery.

This kind of medical technology...

"Wait," Tony suddenly realized something, "You modified my medical equipment?"

Xiao Han picked up a standard surgical robot, "Added some control modules."

His fingertips glowed faintly, and with a light swipe on the metal surface, he revealed the completely reconstructed internal circuitry.

Tony's breathing quickened.

As an engineer, he knew exactly what this meant.

This man who called himself Superman not only possessed god-like strength but also possessed Superman-like intelligence.

"Have to say, You are amazing," Tony finally exhaled; he decided not to dwell on the issue anymore.

Tony sat up from the medical bed, moved his shoulders, feeling the new energy source in his chest.

The blue light shone through the shirt fabric, particularly noticeable in the dim laboratory.

"How do You feel?" Xiao Han handed him a glass of amber liquid.

Tony took the glass and sniffed it, raising an eyebrow, "Macallan 55 years? Where did You find this?"

"Your private cellar," Xiao Han's lips curved up slightly, "But it's been improved now; it can accelerate cell repair."

Tony took a sip, his eyes immediately lighting up, "Damn, the taste! What did You add?"

"Some kind of substitute," Xiao Han walked towards the operating table on the other side of the lab, "It can temporarily enhance nerve conduction efficiency."

Tony swirled the glass, then suddenly became serious, "Why help me to this extent? That surgery, those modifications, this is beyond the scope of our deal."

Xiao Han had his back to him, tapping on a holographic keyboard, "5% of the shares is worth better service."

"Bullshit," Tony put down the glass, "You know the market value of Stark Industries. Even without You, I could..."

"Found it," Xiao Han interrupted him, taking a test tube from a cryogenic chamber.

The pale blue liquid shimmered strangely under the light, and countless tiny points of light seemed to be flowing within it.

Tony's scientific instinct was immediately piqued, "What is this?"

"Improved Super Soldier Serum," Xiao Han placed the test tube under an optical microscope, "Based on Dr. Erskine's prototype, but with all side effects removed."

Tony leaned in to observe, and Jarvis immediately projected analysis data onto his retina, "Molecular structure is 37% more complex than the version in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files... these protein chains..."

"Strength amplification is 2.5 times the original, metabolic rate is increased by 400%, bone density..." Xiao Han paused.

"Enough for You to fall from thirty stories and only scrape Your skin."

Tony straightened up, his expression turning serious, "You replicated the Super Soldier Serum? In just a few days?"

"Not entirely a replication," Xiao Han rotated the test tube.

"I rewrote the entire genetic sequence. There won't be side effects like Red Skull's, and it won't alter the user's personality traits."
