Chapter 46 - Ashes and Blood

The night air was still, eerie. Mikey and Jin had been tracking Kang's movements, but they were too late.

At the cemetery, Kang's shadow loomed over the grave of Mikey's mother.

With a cruel smirk, Kang kicked the tombstone to shards, scattering the flowers and rose petals across the wet ground.

The air seemed to vibrate with his menace. "You wanted revenge?" Kang whispered. "I'll make sure nothing is left to mourn."

Mikey's fists clenched, jaw tight, heart pounding. Every memory of his mother surged forward, mixing grief and burning rage.

Jin's Master Targeted

Across town, Jin's master was finishing late-night training. Kang's gang had already infiltrated the area, guns in hand.

Bullets shattered the dojo's windows, spraying glass across the floor.

Jin's master dove for cover, narrowly avoiding the hail of gunfire. The air rang with the staccato of death.

Kang's voice rang from the shadows: "You train children in a world of monsters. Let's see if you survive this lesson."

Jin's eyes widened, panic and fury colliding.

Mikey and Jin React

Mikey's grief erupted into pure rage. "He… he crossed the line!" His fists shook, energy surging beyond his previous limits.

Jin gritted his teeth. "We can't let this go! But we need a plan—we can't just rush in blindly."

The destruction of Mikey's mother's grave and the attack on Jin's master personalizes the war.

Kang is no longer just a rival; he is a relentless predator, willing to destroy anyone close to his enemies.

Mikey's desire for revenge and Jin's resolve to protect his master set up a high-stakes, all-out confrontation.
