Chapter 45 - Inferno of Vengeance

The night was quiet, the kind of quiet that hides danger. Jin was training alone, reflecting on previous battles with Kang, unaware that the predator had already arrived.

In the darkness, Kang's figure loomed over the dojo. His eyes glimmered with a cold, sociopathic smile. This wasn't just about fighting anymore—it was about sending a message.

The Attack

With a flick of his wrist, Kang's gang ignited the dojo. Flames erupted, consuming wooden beams and sacred training halls.

Explosions of fire and smoke filled the air, the heat so intense it forced nearby trees to char and crack.

Kang stood back, arms crossed, watching as everything Jin's master had built for decades burned to the ground.

Inside, Jin's master fought to save what he could, but Kang's precision and the chaos of fire made it impossible. He barely escaped, coughing and burned, while Kang disappeared into the night, leaving devastation behind.

Jin's Reaction

Jin arrived moments later, eyes wide as he saw the destruction. The dojo—the place that had trained him, the place of discipline, knowledge, and history—was reduced to smoldering ruins.

"Damn it… Kang!" Jin shouted, fists clenching, rage and grief boiling inside. "This isn't a fight… it's a war!"

Jin's resolve hardened. Kang wasn't just a rival—he was a monster.

Mikey, informed of the attack, clenched his fists, a storm of grief and determination mixing inside him.

Stakes Raised

Kang's threat escalates beyond personal combat—he's now attacking the foundations of their lives, targeting masters and loved ones.

Jin's personal motivation skyrockets—he must rebuild, train harder, and protect what remains.

Mikey is further fueled by both his mother's death and the destruction Kang leaves behind.
