Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 Southern Island

Returning to his room early, Nobi Hiroshi put down his schoolbag and took out his superpower training box, beginning to practice clairvoyance.

Since it was the weekend, he wasn't in a hurry to do his homework.

He focused intently on the training box until he could see its internal structure.

An hour and a half later, Xiao Hong finished training. He sat on the tatami mat, stretching his limbs, then peered out the window to gaze into the distance, relieving his eye fatigue.

A man in a blue suit arrived at the doorstep. Xiao Hong saw that it was Nobi Daisuke.

"I'm home."

"Welcome home, dinner will be ready soon."

The virtuous wife and loving mother Nobi Tamako took Daisuke's briefcase and suit jacket.

"Hmm, yesterday's overtime really tired me out. I need to get some rest early today."

Daisuke hunched his back and massaged his neck. His prematurely aging body couldn't handle the toil of working overtime.

"Okay, I'll go make up your futon first."

The woman said softly.

Looking at her husband, Yuzi felt a slight unease in her heart. She was equally tired last night, but more than that, she felt satisfied.

Moreover, even with extreme restraint, it couldn't be completely eliminated, like opening Pandora's box.

So, it was about to begin again.

"Xiao Hong, dinner's ready."

The paper door slid open, and a gentle voice came through. Before Xiao Hong could reply, he was scooped up by a warm, large hand.

Almost without any resistance, his head sank into something soft, rubbing against Zheng Tai's face.

"Can you let go of me now? Aren't we going down for dinner?"

"No rush… wait a few more minutes. The miso soup is still hot."

Yuzi looked at the little darling in her arms, already having mischievous thoughts. Otherwise, she wouldn't have called Nobita and Doraemon downstairs first, only coming here last.

However, Xiao Hong was already greatly depleted and had no desire for anything for a short while, but that still couldn't stop Yuzi.

On days when Daisuke was present, she had to seize every moment, fighting for every second.

While the three downstairs were dining, Yuzi added an extra dish for herself: fiery mushroom stew with white radish soup.

… …

… …

In the early morning, the first ray of sunlight spilled onto the window sill.

Nobi Hiroshi, still in bed, was enjoying a comfortable sleep. The Saturday alarm clock wouldn't ring, unable to wake this sleepyhead.

"Nobita, we're all ready. Can we go to the southern island now?"

Only Gian's rough voice could be heard from downstairs. He, Xiao Fu, and Shizuka were standing at the door, having waited for a long time.

"You all are here!"

"But… you'll have to wait a moment, because Xiao Hong isn't awake yet."

Holding a toothbrush in one hand, Nobita quickly came to the entrance to open the door.

It seemed deliberate that he faced Shizuka when he spoke, as if wanting the girl to know what a big lazybones was on the second floor.

"Oh, then hurry up and call him."

Gian said lightly.

"I think I'll go. Nobita, you go wash up, and I'll go upstairs to call him."

Shizuka, who knew how to think of others, volunteered.

Kicking off her shoes, her short white socks squeaked on the clean wooden floor.

The girl bounced upstairs and arrived at Nobi Hiroshi's room door.

She first knocked, and finding no response, walked in: "Xiao Hong, are you not up yet? We're going to the southern island!"

Shizuka reached out and shook the crumpled blanket, and Nobi Hiroshi slowly came to his senses.

"Shizuka, it's you…"

Rubbing his eyes, he crawled out of the covers.

He was completely unaware of the devastating effect his open-collared pajamas and messy hair had on a little loli.

Especially that towering presence in the morning light.

Shizuka's pupils gradually widened, and she delicately took two steps back: "Mm, hurry and get up. We're all waiting for you to leave."

After speaking, she left the room, and Nobi Hiroshi changed his clothes inside.

There seemed to be light in the girl's eyes. As she went down the stairs, she gestured with her hand.

She extended her index finger and thumb, as if it wasn't enough, completely different from the structural diagrams the teacher showed in class.

… …

… …

"Everyone, let's go!"

Once everyone was assembled, Doraemon took out the anywhere door from his pocket and chose an uninhabited island in the south.

"Wow, we're at the beach! Hahaha!"

After opening the door, Nobita was the first to rush through, standing on the majestic high cliff by the shore.

The sky was cloudless, and from the elevated position, the scenery before the horizon was completely visible.

Nobi Hiroshi also stood by the cliff with joy. This was his first time personally visiting the ocean.

Rows of coconut trees were planted on the beach, and crabs of various patterns crawled beneath the trees.

The azure sea water and the blue sky reflected the freely flying seagulls, whose squawking broke the summer's silence.

The gentle sea breeze caressed their youthful cheeks, purifying their depleted bodies and filling them with immense joy.

"Hiroshi, what are you looking at?"

Tian Mei curiously leaned over, her gaze fixed on a spot that seemed to hold nothing but a messy pile of reefs.

"Nothing, it's just my first time at the beach, and I want to see more."

Nobi Hiroshi said casually.

"Hey! Everyone, don't run off yet, come over here, I'll help you change clothes."

Seeing Nobita and the others running freely, Doraemon waved and called out.

He took out the changing camera and helped everyone change into swimsuits.

Shizuka wore a light yellow halter-neck swimsuit, revealing her cute navel. Her smooth, small feet stepped on the fine sand as she jumped into the shallow sea.

"Hiroshi, come on! It's so cool!"

"Okay, I'm coming."

Following Gian and Xiao Fu, Nobi Hiroshi jumped into the sea. The icy cold water was indeed a perfect remedy for the summer heat.

The three of them swam freely in the ocean, even starting a water fight, leaving only a bewildered Nobita standing blankly on the shore.

He suddenly remembered that he couldn't swim at all!

"Doraemon, you have to think of a way for me! They're having so much fun and ignoring me, even though I'm the one who brought them here."

"Waaah wah wah~~~"

Nobita knelt on the ground, his butt sticking out, crying with snot and tears.

Doraemon pouted and scratched the back of his head, somewhat unable to bear Nobita.

"Alright, Nobita, how about this..."

"Transformation Ring and Cards!"

He took out a set of cards and a hula-hoop-like gadget, intending to lend them to Nobita, but then put them back on the ground.

"Wait, using this is too simple. I must find a way for you to learn to swim by your own strength."

"Spartan Coach!"

Doraemon pulled out a round instrument with a rope connected to a clip at the other end, which could be wrapped around a person's waist without coming loose.

"Can it really teach me to swim?"

"Don't worry, no problem."

Doraemon showed a mischievous smile, attached the gadget to Nobita's waist, and pushed him into the water.

"Ah, help!"

"Nobita, don't worry, you'll learn to swim through struggling."

"I'm already drowning while struggling, pull me up quickly!"

"No way, unless you learn to swim. This machine will ensure your safety, so I'm going to go play with everyone now."

Doraemon showed a relieved smile and turned to walk towards the area where Nobi Hiroshi and the others were, leaving a half-drowning Nobita struggling bitterly.
