Chapter 89 - Cap.83 - Mercenary group

Juberly Hub has all kinds of services and a myriad of resources, as a neutral zone with a commercial character, it's easy to find a wide variety of professions and goods here, legal or illegal, which is why Ringo chose this place to start.

It was one of the few places in the galaxy that was well explored in the original novel.

The Juberly Hub core is a place that can be divided into approximately ten or more areas, there are all kinds of restaurants, equipment shops and entertainment centers, such as bars and racetracks of all kinds. Training areas designed for the Supers offer gravity training rooms, combat simulators, meditation rooms, mechanical workshops, as well as offices that offer jobs and work for the Supers.

There are powerful entities like the Mercenary Alliance and the Wizard's Organization. There are also financial groups and other forces interested in hiring Supers. There's also the trading hub, which allows trading with people from across the conglomerate, shipyards specializing in building and repairing spaceships…

Ringo was ready to find one of those financial groups that focused on pharmacology to work with, he needed to sell his products while acquiring foreign products and this was the best option.

Sure, Emma's work isn't of low quality, that might lead to greed from these groups, but there's a reason Ringo chose Black Spider. He had already left backup clones in various areas and would continue to leave more in the future. Who cares if he becomes a target?

As long as there isn't a Grade A psychic or mage around, he can run!

But first, he headed towards the base of the Mercenary Alliance, a powerful neutral organization that provides mercenaries.

This organization's business can be seen in every corner of the universe. It was founded by the three great Universal civilizations. They maintain absolute neutrality and all forms of intelligent life can register to become one of their mercenaries. They classify their mercenaries into different levels, and the difficulty of a mission, the value of the reward, the operating funds and other benefits depend on their level.

The Mercenary Alliance is an organization as old as the Intergalactic Bank, never interfering in space affairs. It also pays close attention to protecting the rights of both clients and mercenaries. Mercenaries would never be forced to undertake missions. It serves as a platform for supers to obtain jobs fairly.

The original intention of the three universal civilizations in founding the Mercenary Alliance was to keep the Supers occupied. Being able to earn money and make a living with their power meant they would have less time and energy to cause troubles everywhere.

Just because someone is strong doesn't mean they can act as they please, galactic technology has evolved to a point where it can even handle Grade S Supers, although of course, the costs involved would be immense and there are no guarantees of success.

Even so, Grade A supers could no longer act as they pleased and integrating guys like that into society isn't easy. They could join some civilization's army or look for another job, but the Mercenary Alliance acted directly on those who hated being contained but hadn't lost their morality.

The effect of the Mercenary Alliance's founding was evident. Not only did it make good use of the Super's abilities, but it also contributed to maintaining security in the area.

As they entered, several fist-sized metal balls descended towards each of them. Black Spider wasn't surprised, these were the automatic management devices. Virtual screens were then emitted from them, and Black Spider quickly got to work.

[Please enter your mercenary account username to proceed.]

Black Spider looked for the registration option and clicked on it. The interface asked for his name, race, home planet, age, gender and a bunch of other personal information. Finally, it asked for a bank account for future deposits, he registered the one he had created previously.

The name was also easy to decide on: [Black Spider].

It was the nickname of the body Ringo was using now, so he didn't care much about it and just chose it, for Ringo, Black Spider was just a useful shell, not worth putting too much thought into.

He opened his registration and, as expected, there was nothing there, completely blank, but that would change soon.

After he entered his information, the metal ball released a small probe and asked him to release his energy.

Ringo pondered for a moment. Should he unleash the Black Spider's energy or the Clone's? If he chose the former, it would be harder to get good missions right away, but if he chose the latter, he didn't know if he would leave traces due to the energy he used.

He didn't know how advanced that probe was, could it identify something just by its energy? The chance was very low, but Ringo's paranoid side made him apprehensive for a moment.

Finally, he sighed. He decided to use the Nightmare Clone's energy, he couldn't act out of fear all the time. He hoped it wouldn't cause major problems, but for him, a Class B force would be more useful at the moment.

As soon as white energy was emitted from Black Spider's body, the sphere quickly registered the energy level.

Black Spider nodded slightly, this was the standard beginning. The clones had also just registered, they basically chose names from 1 to 8. Black Spider wasn't interested in thinking of a name for them.

They were all Grade C so it wasn't a bad start, 1 Grade B and 8 Grade C.

To be honest, Black Spider could create a medium-sized crew on his own, of course, it would just be a show, being able to control only about a dozen clones with precision, all the others would just be cannon fodder.

[File creation completed. Data has been entered into the system. Black Spider, welcome to the Mercenary Alliance.]

Black Spider didn't stop there and began creating the mercenary group.

[Please enter the name of your Mercenary Group.]

Black Spider paused for a moment, at which point he remembered the emblem of Hell, as well as the number that had accompanied him since his first day in this world.

[Mercenary Group - Triple Six]

(A/N: Yes, we're finally using the fanfic's name.)
