Chapter 270 - Cap.257 - Agreement

Ringo easily found the Secret Master's number.

Although that place was 'desolate', it was still connected to the galactic network.

He only needed to ask Jenny, the woman was basically Ames' housekeeper, Jenny took care of everything, including interaction with other BGAs, so it was easy to get the number of one of the leaders of the galactic black market.

The call took only a few seconds to complete, a tall man wearing a purple wizard's robe was looking directly at Ringo.

-Who are you?- the man asked calmly.

The secret Master knew it was difficult for ordinary people to find his number, normally he would have ignored the unknown call and even blocked the number, but his intuition made him answer the call.

Don't underestimate the intuition of a Grade S, especially a mage.

Ringo looked at the man for a moment, he seemed like an ordinary galactic human, but that wasn't why Ringo would take him lightly.

Even if he were to become a Grade S in the future, he wasn't one now, offending a Grade S, especially a mage, was very damaging, and besides, he came there to make friends.

-Hello, Your Excellency Secret Master, my name is Ringo Jones, a Grade A under the command of the Dragon Emperor.- Ringo introduced himself calmly.

The Secret Master merely raised an eyebrow, half curious, half uninterested.

Ames was so quiet that it even took him a while to remember who she was, luckily there were very few BGAs in the galaxy, besides which he was considered a 'merchant', so getting to know others was something he was expected to do.

-So what? You're not qualified to call me just because of that. If Ames wants to talk to me, she should call me personally.- The Secret Master was about to hang up, but Ringo noticed and spoke quickly, he couldn't let this "fat sheep" get away so easily.

As one of the best charmers in the galaxy, getting close to the Secret Master was never a stupid decision, especially since he was a neutral BGAs.

-Black Dog, Mercer, I just saved him from another Grade A pirate, known as 'Red Devil' Tolaen.- Ringo explained.

The Secret Master paused, his finger poised to hang up, looking at Ringo with interest.

To be honest, the Secret Master didn't even know Mercer had been kidnapped. Mercer was just one employee among many, he wasn't the fighting type, so he simply left his subordinates free most of the time.

-Oh...- He blurted out, curious. -Mercer, right? Is he there?

Ringo turned the communicator towards the incubator, clearly showing Mercer's condition.

The Secret Master scoffed slightly, not taking this subordinate very seriously, even so, he was one of his own, he still needed to pretend to care.

The camera returned to Ringo as the Secret Master continued. - So? Do you want a reward? Just say so, as long as the amount is right, I can pay for it.

Ringo wasn't surprised, even though his vision of the future became clouded when it involved a Grade S, he still knew what kind of person Secret Master was, a businessman above all else.

Ringo did something for him, he would pay for it, simple as that.

He had no shortage of money.

Ringo considered refusing while pretending to just help, hoping to use that as leverage to get closer in the future, but rejecting an offer from that kind of person was dangerous. Imagine owing a favor to an ant, it was better to simply repay the favor at once or get rid of the ant.

So, although Ringo wanted to make friends, he thought it was better to ask for something.

Considering the Planetary Cornstone he had obtained from Ames last time and his desire to create a weapon for her, plus the fact that the Secret Master was one of the best enchanters in the galaxy, he felt he could take advantage of that.

Ringo directly expressed his ideas, making it clear that he wanted to forge a weapon for Ames and wanted to entrust him with the task, the primary materials, along with the money for secondary materials, could be deposited into his account.

The Secret Master was stunned for a moment, he hadn't expected Ringo to ask that.

But forging a Grade S weapon? Hehe... Mercer's life wasn't worth that much.

-Change your order.- The Secret Master said, It was a clear refusal.

Ringo frowned slightly, then hesitated for a long time before speaking. -I have the core crystal of a young Verdant Teracrist. Will that serve as payment?

The Secret Master's eyes opened slightly, a smile appearing on his face. - Let me see.

Ringo knew the value of that thing, but for him, Ames was worth more, so in the end, he decided to resolutely give up on the Verdant Teracrist.

Even so, he would still take a small piece of the crystal, though it was small, if Ringo was willing to spend enough, it would be enough to rebuild it and enlarge it even further.

The cores he had created earlier were proof of this, so Ringo returned to his ship and showed the 3-meter green crystal.

The more he looked at it, the more he liked it, he even smiled. This thing, though young, was worth a lot, and besides, it could be used to forge some very good items.

He turned to look at Ringo as he said. -Done, I accept your order, you can come directly to me.

-Alright, I'm still heading to Star Abyss for now, hopefully we can do business after that.- Ringo said, preferring to be a BGA before visiting another.

The Secret Master stared at Ringo for a moment, raising an eyebrow, and nodded. -Alright, I'll wait for you at the Sea of Star Spirits.
