Sea of Star Spirits is a thriving star field where the Secret Master lives. Unlike the Shattered Star Ring, although it wasn't a star field at the center of the universe, it was still much more 'advanced'.
Ringo wasn't in a hurry to go there, he first helped with the recovery of the Black Dog, Mercer, who was quite confused when he woke up, remembering that he had been imprisoned by Tolaen. He tried to escape again, not even listening to Ringo. It was only when Ringo beat him that he began to hear.
Hearing that Ringo had saved him and he was free, and that Ringo had already informed the Secret Master, the Black Dog acted like a true Pugilist and laughed as if nothing had happened, treating Ringo as a close friend. He promised that when Ringo went to the Sea of Star Spirits, he would entertain him to thank him.
Ringo shrugged, by the time he got there, he'd probably already be a BGA, the black dog wouldn't dare 'entertain' him anymore.
In any case, leaving one of Tolaen's ships for him, the Black Dog departed directly, still feeling a lingering fear from the event. He was ambushed by Tolaen and struck by a demonic spell from the face, in the end, he could only be beaten and taken away.
He was completing a mission in a low-level civilization, returning leisurely when he was ambushed, so nobody noticed at first.
In any case, he was happy to be free.
Ringo, who was also on the ship, discovered where Tolaen was going with his vice-captain, a Grade B Super, which wasn't strange, since most Grade A Super are rarely willing to surrender.
As a pirate, Tolaen was never one to accept sharing power, so he never wanted a subordinate who could get in his way.
Those "do-it-all" jobs were already enough for him.
Ringo wanted to say that if there had been another Grade A Super there, Tolaen would have had better luck, but Ringo neither used his clones nor even summoned the Demogorgos, in the end, Tolaen was weak, at least compared to Ringo.
In any case, after searching the minds of Tolaen's officers, although they weren't sure who Tolaen was selling Mercer to, judging by the region, the vice-captain had already guessed something, although he wasn't certain, Ringo could say that the possibility wasn't low.
The problem was that when Ringo found out about this, he realized, too late, that it was probably his own fate, and he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Thousand Shadows.
A BGA, although currently more of a vegetable that had transformed into an energetic life form to stay alive, basically merged directly with its Esper ability, artificially creating something that Ringo supposed the MCs were currently transforming into.
Ringo was speechless, but after thinking about it, he felt it made perfect sense.
Thousand Shadows could hardly be considered a fully-fledged BGA at present, half asleep, half awake, Thousand Shadows' response to his invasion would most likely be to send more and more Grade A troops after him.
In other words, it was like poking a beehive while being a wasp.
Like a 'wasp', Ringo was fully aware that his power was far greater than that of current bees, but even a wasp, when surrounded by dozens of bees, can still perish.
Even with his clones, as long as Ringo dared to advance against Thousand Shadows, it would basically be a 100-against-one fight, counting each of his clones, maybe even more.
Ringo remained silent, should he keep moving forward?
Normally Ringo would have turned the ship around directly, who wants to risk their life like that? Even though Thousand Shadows was 'sleeping' now, he didn't want to take any chances!
But Ringo already knew about his own personality, so he had suppressed his emotions a long time ago, he was incredibly logical now.
He needed a fight that would propel him forward, and beyond Thousand Shadows, Ringo didn't know of any other option for him.
If it weren't for the current state of the Thousand Shadows, Ringo wouldn't even dare to advance.
Finally, Ringo shook his head, he would go.
After making his decision, Ringo didn't hesitate any longer.
Extracting the souls of all those guys, even though they were weak, was better than nothing.
As for the ships? Ringo activated the artificial intelligence and plotted a course for the Floating Dragon, if they arrived, great, if not, that's it.
He wouldn't care about them.
He quickly returned to his spaceship.
At that point, he had practically lost the Verdant Teracrist, but he also managed to get a 'master blacksmith' to forge a weapon for Ames, so when he returned to her with a gift, she would like it, right?
Even more so now that he would become a Grade S.
Shrugging, he took a small piece of the Verdant Teracrist crystal, keeping it safe, in the future he could use it as a base to recreate the Verdant Teracrist.
When this creature's species grew large enough, it would divide small pieces of itself and spread them throughout the galaxy like spores. This was the 'larval' stage of the Verdant Teracrist. It took millions of years for them to grow, but in that time, the amount that the original planet had spread was ridiculously high for only one or two to manage to transform into Verdant Teracrists like the one he has now. Even fewer managed to reach adulthood.
Most of them were eaten by other races or used by mages, so it was no wonder the Secret Master was so happy when he saw this, after all, such a large piece of Verdant Teracrist was incredibly rare.
Ringo wasn't stupid either, knowing the value of this thing, he directly informed Jenny about the deal he made with the Secret Master, asking her not to tell Ames unless something happened to him, since he wanted it to be a surprise.
