Chapter 272 - Cap.259 - Ames irritation

On the floating Dragon, Ames was calmly floating not far from Jenny. The two were having tea when Ringo called. When Ames heard this, she became very curious as to why Ringo was calling Jenny and not her.

She wasn't a jealous woman, but the curiosity was still there, like a cat that caught a mouse, she smiled at Jenny and signaled for her to answer.

Jenny rolled her eyes and quickly answered the call, also curious as to why Ringo had called her, he had already asked for the Secret Master's number before. Jenny was about to talk to Ames about it when Ringo called.

However, after a few minutes, when Ringo hung up, Jenny's face looked very strange, staring at Ames without knowing what to say.

Well, she really wanted to help Ringo, since what he wanted was for Ames' benefit, but at that moment, she could only say that Ringo was unlucky, or rather, Ames was lucky.

Ames had a special ability, her luck was variable. When it was low, it was much lower than Ringo's, when it was high, it was much higher than his, which was truly ironic. In the end, she managed to overhear the entire conversation, so her luck at that moment... was very good.

Her expression, however, was quite cold at that moment.

Ames didn't say anything from beginning to end, even when Jenny turned off the communicator and remained silent with her head down, she didn't say anything for a while.

Ames felt a mix of emotions again, the urge to hit Ringo was strong. This guy insisted on making decisions for her, and this was the second time. This feeling was incredibly irritating and frustrating, she just wanted to beat him up a few times to vent this angry mood.

At the same time, knowing that this idiot wanted to go to another BGA to create a weapon for her, even more so using something she had given him, and paying a hefty price out of his own pocket...

Although Ringo didn't mention the Verdant Teracrist, Ames knew that a guy like the Secret Master wouldn't do something like that for a small price, the price Ringo must have paid wasn't small, which is why Ames didn't say anything from beginning to end.

She was furious, but she also felt a warm feeling that only ended up increasing her fury.

Finally, Ames floated away, she needed to let off steam. It would take too long to get to Austin, so she was going to find that guy Hadavy to act as a 'stress ball,' just 'squeeze' him a few times and she'd feel better.

Jenny watched Ames' figure float away, letting out a sigh of relief.

She thought about calling Ringo and telling him, but before she could, almost as if he were reading her mind, Ames' voice came from afar. -Don't tell him, let that fool do what he wants.

Although she was annoyed, she would still act surprised when he brought whatever it was for her.

Whether it was a weapon that could destroy planets or a simple t-shirt with the slogan 'I love Star Abyss', Ames would accept it the same way.

What matters is the intention.

Even so, she was still furious.

Jenny gave a bitter smile, in the end, Ringo could only deal with this when he returned, although she bet Ames wouldn't make things too difficult for Ringo, she'd probably still take it out on him somehow.

On the other end, Ringo felt a strange premonition, as if something bad was going to happen, but he couldn't tell where it was coming from, he frowned.

Feeling a little worried, he changed course, but even so, he didn't feel that the feeling improved. He tried a few more times, but nothing, so he could only give up. In any case, he felt that there was no danger of death, still being able to see his future. He knew that if he were in a danger from which he could not escape, his vision of the future would become completely clouded.

Since he could still see the future, although not the source of the 'bad omen', he simply shrugged, thinking, what will be, will be.

At this point, Ringo's journey continued, he treated all of this as a small interlude in his trip. After all, the main event was still waiting for him. Now that he was almost certain what it was, he could only sigh and keep moving forward.

He sat down, ready to get back to training, but instead of filling the MCs with Chi, he raised his hands.

Slowly, blood began to seep from his pores, but he frowned, the blood was still red, nothing like Tolaen's black blood.

Just as he expected, when the blood entered his demonic flames, he was simply burned out, nothing more.

Frowning thoughtfully, he remembered the sensation of those flames.

Pollution, where did the pollutant come from?

He had felt those flames on his skin before, but he couldn't figure out the exact effect because his genes weren't affected at all.

He had no idea how Tolaen had used that 'spell', but since it was a skill of the demon race, theoretically, he could learn it too.

Although his ability to Degenerate wasn't low, the effect on a Grade A was quite limited, even more so when he advanced to Grade S. The genes of a Grade S are incredibly more resistant than those of a Grade A, it was like comparing paper to steel.

Thus, although these flames were weaker, the pollution effect was much more direct.

If he could merge Degenerate with his demonic flames...

'Wait! Why not?!' - Ringo's eyes widened as he thought.

Although he did not possess the heritage of the demon race, nothing prevented him from merging his own abilities!

Excited, Ringo began to try!
